Members Rosey
Does anyone know if ratings will be out today since yesterday was Veteran's Day? I'm curious to see how GH and Days did this week in the demographics.
Members Kimmiemae
I hope Days and OLTL goes up.. Im loving both shows right now.
Members me4ryky
I think GH's ratings will be higher this week because of the Claudia death. Next week is when the drop again, because this week's shows are horrible IMO.

Administrator Toups Posted November 12, 2009 Author Administrator Share Posted November 12, 2009 Were there pre-emptions on Friday? CBS and DAYS crashed on Friday.
Members DRW50
That's a huge drop for Y&R in only a week. I guess they go back up again the next Monday but it's strange. I'm surprised GH didn't get more of an increase. This was their big stunt week. Still, they're back to being the highest rated ABC soap, so Frons must be proud. Sad to see OLTL at the bottom; Friday's show at least seemed to pick up.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Even though they're up a bit from this time last year, isn't this like the 4th or 5th week in a row that Y&R's fallen in Households/Viewers? That's not good, but very deserving for the crap that's airing on that show.
Members JimTolkien
ICAM!!! The ratings are horrid but you reap what you sow. I have to keep asking myself if this is November sweeps!! The last good week for Y&R was the week of October 12 and ever since then, down it goes. I am actually enjoying the downward spiral!! I am sure the leaked spumors are not helping matters either. Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
Actually it's their 3rd week in a row losing viewers. Do you still watch ATWT Y&RWorldTurner or did you stop watching cause I think it's alot better than Y&R right now.
Members Darcy
In the NYC market (which I believe is the largest) many soaps were pre-empted for the NY Yankees victory parade on Friday, November 6, which started at 11:00 am. On CBS, the soaps did not come on until about 2:15 pm during ATWT (so I don't think B&B and Y&R were shown at all and probably not DOOL or AMC either). Members AS THE WORLD TURNS
Maybe Y&R went down because of Victor's last week until he returns sometime next month or next year.
Members FrenchFan
Such a huge drop for Y&R. I expected it to climb a little. And of course B&B falls down too. So depressing.
Members Rosey
They need to realize that not everyone cared that EB was leaving Y&R. The show got a 3.7 you would think with the fuss they made about his contract and how he was on every magazine he would of got that 4.0. When they did Harvest day the show got a 3.9 and the day before that they got a 4.0 so the viewers are still out there.
Members JimTolkien
He was on the week before that, and before that, and before that, and before that...didn't really do much for the ratings then either...so that excuse doesn't fly with this viewer who expects better from this show. Plus he is just gone on extended rehabilitation, they didn't kill him...Victor has been offscreen for a bit before. And he was leaving, right?! One would expect that since Victor would be off, the show would be packing in some action, romance, yada, yada to make up the deficiency but here we are. I would agree about the Yankees parade for Friday because I watched the entire thing and I don't live in NY. I also wonder for Thursday as well because there was the Fort Hood shooting in Texas. The show is running out of excuses though for the dismal ratings.
