Apparently, she died of a very rare cancer, ampullary cancer, an opening connecting the bile duct of the pancreas to the duodenum. She was also in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, playing an equestrian having an affair with her horse trainer. Her character was married to another ex-soap actor, Mark Pinter.

So many former/current soap stars are dying too young. May Ms. Booth RIP.
