So I've had the same smartphone for the last 5 years, a Samsung Galaxy S7. It's actually my first smartphone (yeah, I came late to the party). Anyway, I am now considering a new phone. I've never owned Apple products (except for those little ipod shuffles for playing music) and I went with Samsung for this phone cuz I owned a couple of their tablets so I was familiar with the environment.

My main motivation at this point is memory. My current phone only has 32GB plus I use a memory card. Still, between the bloatware that I can't delete and apps that I can't move, I'm often having to move or delete things to make room while their app upgrades eat away at the memory. Plus, I've been seeing screenburned icons for years. That being said, it's been a good little phone functionally. I've been researching both the newer Samsungs and the iphones (particularly the 13 pro) and reading comparison articles on iphone vs. android but am still undecided.

Any recommendations or insights? Thanks!
