Soap couples blended names past and present...

Did it start with Bennifer and Branjelina? The idea of blending couples names to ship them as a unit.

It took off in soapdom in the 90's. 

Actually the first I remember was Shayla when days pushed Shane and Kayla together (not that that pairing was popular)

Then came Bope, Jarlena, Jeva etc

What names do you recall and what would couples from the past been dubbed if the practice was around back in the day?
