I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry.
Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle.
The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel.
Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH. They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death
I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam.
He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
@Mitch64 especially since they had kind of set up a college "scene" with Annabelle being a teacher and later Quint. But no, they shoved them right into full fledged adult behavior like marriage and babies, murder charges, blackmail, etc etc.
Scott's interview with Michael Fairman has me even more convinced Liam is really a goner
He mentioned OG Caroline and Ridge and how she died(that is Liam's aunt too) and that Brad knows he wrote Liam into a corner and he also said he doesn't want a repeat of Eric dying with a "easy cure" for Liam, he said no one wants to see a repeat of that
HE said Brad isn't f*cking around and he knows where this is going.
