Apparently she has left this Jonestown-like cult because she questioned where the leader's wife was (she has not been see in public in 7 years) and Remini was summarily punished, ordered not to be in contact with members of her family the cult deemed undesirable and put her through 5 years of brainwashing to get her under control. Sounds like a damn movie.
