Possible pre-emption alert: NYC area for OLTL & GH

There will be, more than likely, a pre-emption of OLTL & GH in the NY area (WABC-TV being the local affiliate) as there is a breaking news event. A 54 year old man is dangling from a rope ladder, holding a banner, protesting the Rockland
County
Executive
. He is a former County Substance Abuse Counselor. He has been on the ladder since 10:45am. The drama is still being played out. CNN is also covering the event. So, just to warn you guys, there may be a pre-emption of OLTL & GH.

HangInThere.jpg

In all seriousness, I could barely DRIVE across the Tappan Zee en route to the Palisades without wanting to shut my eyes. I can hardly believe someone would hang from it, yikes! I see he's now in custody.

You and me both. I hate that bridge, and avoid it as much as I can. I had a Sleep Study scheduled for later this month...I don't like that bridge....don't know the Rockland area, got lost the last time, so I cancelled my appointment for now. The bridge is 56 years old, and I would not be surprised if it just cracks in two and causes a major disaster.
