June 12, 201015 yr Member Tony played with the Carpenters for years. He was one hell of a guitarist. He played the guitar solo on Goodbye to Love, which is seen as one of their best recordings. I think I read in one of the books on the Carpenters that he was so well-respected in the industry he was even asked to work with Led Zeppelin or one of the other rock god groups of that era, but declined, because of his loyalty to the Carpenters. I hope he and Karen are having a jam session now... http://www.spinner.com/2010/06/11/tony-peluso-carpenters-guitarist-dead/ Edited June 12, 201015 yr by CarlD2
