DAYS: The Next Big Story Arc

Just wanted to know what ideas the DAYS fans have for a new long story arc for next season.

I was thinking Hope falls for a new attractive rich man who turns out to be an evil manipulative controlling maniac who makes many enemies in Salem but keeps Hope by her side.Hope marries her and then he starts controlling her.He then gets killed in a who dunnit which begins another whodunnit.

just thought that up now.

Any one care to do better.

That Hope storyline looks good. Although, I'd make the guy to be Lawrence Alamain. It's DAYS so someone returning from the dead is very normal. Hope hooking up with Lawrence would drive Bo nuts.

DAYS does need a big new arc to keep the show interesting in the next season.

They already have one with EJ. Now that Nicole is back, we've seen it developed over the past few weeks. That is going to be the big arc for probably the rest of the year. Of course, you will also have Vivian going after Carly still but that is more of a B story now given Nicole is back.

The show was smart. They built a story off their last big year long story, the baby switch. They knew they needed to set up a new major plot and that Ari Zucker was going to be gone so they built a story that satisfied both. They had Nicole run off with Sydney when the truth came out. Nicole was about to bring Sydney back when she was knocked out and Sydney was taken. Enter Anna, who we learn kidnapped Sydney and later learned was working with EJ. Yes, the kidnapping story dragged but it dragged because they had to wait until they got Nicole back so they set up the storyline and stalled. Once Ari Zucker came back as Nicole two weeks ago, the story picked up and now it's clear we will get a long-term story arc involving EJ's kidnapping plot and building to his getting caught. No doubt Sami will get closer to EJ with her and Rafe on the outs. Then you will have the walls closing in on EJ with more and more people learning the truth. It's like EJ took on the role of Nicole from the baby switch story.

The whole EJ/Sami thing is really dull. This is now two years running and it ran out of gas long ago. Days needs to send these characters into other directions because EJ has been sniffing around Sami since something like 2006. Like the papa owl says in the old cartoon (father of Owl Jolson) "Enough is too much!"
