Can one drown without water?

Mysterious drowning deaths puzzle Sam and Dean, who realize each victim was nowhere near water. During their investigation, the brothers discover that the victims each recall seeing a ghost ship before dying. As their investigation continues, they find themselves face-to-face with Bela (Lauren Cohan), who is trying to solve the case before they do; for a large sum of money from one of the victim's family.
