SEAN WHALEN joins the cast on Friday, June 15th for a two-week run as Carl, the lab technician who brings Bridget startling news while providing viewers with a few good laughs to boot. Described as "a very funny role," Whalen is scheduled to appear in nine episodes, but his stint may run longer depending on how the storyline unfolds.

Scott Novick also reports on his site taht Kay Alden is indeed new Co-Head writer - yet not naming any sources. Was it SOD or SOW?????

    I hope the Kay Alden stuff is true.

    Poor kid is gonna be so confused everytime he's in a scene with his on-screen father.
