Members JER Soaps Fan
Now how would THAT work unless JER had no hopes for his own show?! lol. Intriguing, but I SERIOUSLY doubt it.
Members PhoenixRising05
That would be fantastic and that would be a fitting end. I don't think JER doing that would mean he thought his show was hopeless but maybe it was just his way of preparing since Passions was always at the bottom of the ratings. Knowing JER, he probably had a set ending in mind. That goes along with his ego and he would want the ending he wanted so he taped it ahead just in case something happened or something. I doubt it but anything is possible with him.
Members RionPassions
Well, even if he thought the show was going to go on for 20-30 more years, he probably figured neither Tabitha nor Timmy would still be alive then, so he had them tape original scenes for the series finale. Members JER Soaps Fan
I like the theory; I just wouldn't want to get my hopes up. I mean, this is a HUGE rumor. the funny thing is, even before I knew much about JER in 99 (other than his "Days" past), I just had this nagging feeling that he already knew how the show would end. It was just that kind of show where, with characters like Tabitha and Timmy, ya HAD to ask yourself, "In the end, will they be good? Will they end up in Heaven? Surely they can't have these characters end up evil and go to hell." They're different characters in that way, and I did question whether JER had written the ending, or knew what it would be, and whether the show had taped the ending of the show for SOME of the reasons you mentioned, Rion.
