I use Differin cream. It is a prescription retinoid product similar to Retin-A and Renova. It is approved for treatment of acne, but like other retinoids, it prevents/minimizes wrinkles. I was unable to tolerate Retin-A (always looked like I had a bad sunburn), so my dermatologist recommended Differin; he said that is what he uses. I have a prescription for it, but you can order it online without one. Check out inhousepharmacy.com. It is under "skin care". It comes as a cream for us more "middle aged" folks and as a gel if you have oilier skin. I have used it for years and I don't have a line on my face (I'm in my mid 40's). I don't have crows feet or any of those horizontal lines guys get on their foreheads. When I tell people my age, they laugh and accuse me of lying. Part of good skin is "picking" the right parents (I did) and staying out of the sun/using a good sunscreen (I DO!). I know people think it looks good to have a tan, but in the long run (or even relatively short run), it is NOT good. I don't believe there is any OTC skin care product that will work as well for wrinkes as an Rx retinoid will; these products have proved their worth under scientific scrutiny.

I'm 35(almost 36) and my face skin is like a rosey white baby's behind. I use ROC's retinol creams, right now the A-C-E complex. I have dry and VERY sensitive skin also, but this one doesn't irritate it. Somehow my neck is more sensitive to Retinol and I don't use it there.

I agree that genes and no sun exposure helps a lot too, I haven't taken the sun in my face since I was a late teen. This stuff works wonders though, some people accuse me of having had a face lift. I know it's not as powerful as plastic surgery or botox, but helps and is not painful.
