I can't post an active link, when I click on the button above this reply box and enter the URL I want to add; it never shows up.

I'm using Firefox version 1.5.0.7

You should try placing the link first then hitting the URL button.

That suggestion worked, for some reason it didn't work when I was editing a post to add a link earlier; but I tried it again and it worked....

In order to correctly edit an active link into your post (w/o doing the board code), you'll have to do a full edit, not a quick edit.

Are links to other sites allowed at SON, within the body of a post? I turned off avatars and signatures LONG ago!
