  1. Nice try, I don't live in, nor would I live in Meth country. My county has had 3 busts in the last 5 years, all the rampant meth is lined up along the counties that border Interstate 44. Our police have been doing an excellent job of rooting it out. But hey... you can walk down the street without fear in Meth country, as opposed to crack city, USA.
  2. Calling you in the middle of the night in college is not what I call a distant presence.
  3. That says it all.
  4. You think so? People live secret lives.... before the 70's, the vast majority of gay men lived entire secret lives, being married with children, and having sex with other men on the side. On hunting trips, fishing trips, poker games, etc. And their families never suspected. Don't hand me that.
  5. I have to say that I know myself well enough that I can predict my reaction to any situation like that. With the 9/11 thing, reactions would differ, because the passengers didn't have all the information. Most people would not assume it was a suicide flight, they'd probably assume it was a hijacking, which means a landing, hostage demands, etc.
  6. Your'e making an assumption that the material wealth and comfort are the only reasons that girl loves her father, and that Camille loves her husband. That's one hell of an assumption.... you don't know what YOU are talking about.
  7. BINGO. I feel those that are somehow surprised and/or disappointed that Camille and the daughter are staunchly standing by him, come from broken families, or families where members stab each other in the back. They can't understand the concept of a family sticking together for better or worse.
  8. But they didn't all come forward at the same time. One was able to read the others' stories, and duplicate it. That's why it would have been important to have a police report, or some kind of record to corroborate some of this stuff, even if it was just ONE woman out of the 23. And most people won't point fingers at victims, even if they are not. because they will be seen as cruel, misogynistic, etc.. even if they are wrong. I'm saying the tide would turn with the naysayers if there was just ONE police report from when the events happened.
  9. None of this would have happened if just one of them had simply went to the police when the incidents happened. Even if the charges would have been dissmissed, that right there would have been the game changer when it comes to public opinion.
  10. They ARE looking for a pay day. If they truly want justice, and to give legitimacy to their claims, then they need to stipulate any monetary reward go to charity.
  11. I believe Beverly. And I do feel that slipping someone drugs without their knowledge brings it to a whole new level. My comment was that she was stupid from a MEDICAL standpoint to not go to the hospital, because when your'e given unkown drugs without your knowledge, you need your stomach pumped, whatever... you don't know what damage can be done to your body. She was obviously coherent enough to give the cab driver her address, if you can do that, you can utter the word "hospital". I don't think Beverly was stupid for going to his home to rehearse, she didn't take pills offered her. Camille did say one thing that made sense, that nobody wants to be the one to say a victim is lying, so every one of these women were not vetted in any way. For me, taking anonymous pills from a man you don't know is like going to Ferguson during the riots and then being surprised when you get physically assaulted. You just don't go in the first place. My major disconnect is that in my life, I've known 7 women who have been raped (all co-workers or family of co-workers) and ALL of them went to the police without exception, yet here, NONE of them do? Why don't women go to the police? Are they so scared what other people think that they can't do what has to be done to get a rapist off the streets? I think this may come from a large percentage of women being ruled by emotion and not logic, and that is why we see so few women in high political office and high positions in business. Because a large percentage of women are emotional hysterics, and can't operate with reason and logic. The ones who CAN are the ones who ascend in business and politics.
  12. I don't know why they just don't stick to the music business.
  13. Camille has now made a statement defending him: http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2014/12/15/camille-cosby-statement-rape-uva-case-bill-cosby/20451773/
  14. Well... I saw it. It went very well, nobody was all confrontational about it, Beverly seemed calm and very well spoken and GORGEOUS, I might add. I liked that Whoopi asked if she were concerned about what drugs were given to her, and it looked like she didn't even think about it during or after. I can honestly say, I would not have been saying to the cab driver "Did I just call Bill Cosby a Motherf@ucker"... I would have said "Take me to the hospital!". I guess it just goes to show we got a hell of alot of really stupid women in this country. Bill could have easily given her something that might cause permanent liver, Kidney, or brain damage. But this doesn't surprise me that people in the entertainment industry's minds react this way, such a high percentage only care about attention, their career, who they can meet and how they can get famous. That's why so many of those OTHER women took drugs that Cosby offered them, they would have done anything he said, because he could do big things for them. And I think that's the root of why they didn't come forward, because many of these women were ashamed at their own stupidity, they whored themselves for a shot at the big time, and it ended badly, and they are coming out now because they are mad at THEMSELVES for being stupid enough to let the fox into the chicken house.
  15. Now.... how many of you just raked my ass over the coals a few days ago for saying that the media frenzy was entertaining as hell... and now your'e all drooling over the View tomorrow!
  16. If no formal charges are able to be brought, I don't see how this is going to affect him, really. He's richer then God... only has probably 10 years left to live at the most. Many people who think this is a consipracy feel that what we're seeing is a character assassination by people who want to live and glorify the thug culture, and want to bring him down because he's the most visible and powerful black man that rallies against it. I however, don't buy that he was so powerful in 1968-74 that he would have been able to squelch rape allegations by WHITE women. Michael Jackson wasn't even bullet proof at the height of his fame. No matter what happens, The Cosby Show and Fat Albert should not be shelved and dissappear form popular culture, those shows are GOOD and have wonderful things to say, and great lessons to teach. There is good and bad in every person, and if ALL allegations are true, then what we saw on the TV screen is the BEST part of him, and that shouldn't be buried because he has a dark side.
  17. This should make you feel better. http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/12/justice/cleveland-tamir-rice/index.html
  18. Now THAT is a truly healthy attitude to have! If I were a model, I wouldn't have been worried he could "ruin" my career. He was in TV, she was a print model, his power doesn't extend into every single corner of the entertainment industry. The women who had this happen in the late 60's and early 70;s have less of an excuse. I find it really hard to believe that a white woman in 1974 couldn't get a black man arrested on rape charges if she went to the police right away.
  19. The only reason I know her is because she was on the ONE reality show I did watch, which was the Surreal Life. And I was actually watching because Bronson Pinchot and Pepa was on it. But I got to see what a low life she was, during a challenge, which was a bowling contest for charity, a team of down syndrome people, and she was calling them "retards" to their faces... among other nasty crap. I had never heard of her, either before 2005. And if you have any doubts about her honesty, check out 1:50
  20. When it's that worthless cow, then the answer is YES.
  21. I'm giggling my ass off at the thought of Thirsty ass Janice Dickinson right about now, considering that Beverly Johnson is being considered THE credible accuser, even by Nancy Grace, when nobody made this fuss over HER.
  22. I think the angry mob would be pleased if he committed suicide.
  23. You certainly could render someone incapacitated in pretty short order with the right chemicals. One must keep in mind that there are drugs available then that are no longer available, and vice versa.
  24. I will say, however, that every one of these women should be ashamed of themselves. This is a classic case of evil being able to prosper because good people stand by and do nothing. If every one of them hadn't been lily-livered cowards, then it wouldn't have been able to go on for decades.
