It's good that she's got something in the works again. One of the very few with REAL talent in the last 10 years, it would be a shame if she didn't release anything else. For some reason, starting in the 90's, recording artists had a MAJOR slowdown in their release schedules, nobody is really prolific with their albums anymore. For instance, compare Mariah, who has been recording for 25 years, she has released 14 studio albums. Elton John released 25 in his first 25 years, Dolly Parton 31,  Johnny Mathis released 51!

I don't think it will stick, since she's a hooker and a lap dancer. People will just think Cosby paid her for sex, then she sees another opporotunity to cash in, so she's taking it.

I don't think she's self hating, I don't think Raven is that much of an "out there" name. It's just a bird name like Robin. Finch, Jay, or Teal. And you are right, Whoopi did break barriers, in ways you could only dream of, so quit throwing her under the bus just because she holds different opinions from you, which are largely generational. But have you actually seen the video? It's hilarious! "Clitorisandrea" and "Elephantisha" are the two best, IMO. LOL  When you have people like Jermaine Jackson naming their children  crap like "Jermajesty" that don't help matters. You need to be criticizing the people picking the nutball names, not the people calling them out.

Maybe she's speaking from experience? Maybe her name has given her problems in the past. Of course, in the entertainment industry, weird ass names don't hold you back as much as in corporate america... but pleeze, many people judge and make fun of stupid sounding names no matter what color they are. Hell, in high school we laughed our butts off about the ridiculous names Frank Zappa gave his children. Don't act like black people are supposed to get a pass on being made fun of for stupid names. And how many old fashioned names like Bertha, Gertrude, Eugene, etc... have been made fun of over the years, in TV and in film.

Poor Raven just can't catch a break. She does have a point, I once met twin brothers who were named orangejello and lemonjello.

The more women that come forward, the less believeable their stories are. There's just no way that not ONE out of that many women made a call to 911 or a police report, SOMETHING. Unless city women on the coasts are just all spineless jellyfish, cause where I come from, a woman would open her mouth. At least ONE out of 35 would!

Let me just say that in that pictorial, Janice Dickinson bears a STRIKING resemblance to Cruella Deville.

From what I understand, it depends on the year your show was shot, what your contract was.. after a certain point, all actors got minimum residuals because that was part of the SAG and AFTRA regulations. Michele Lee said that she doesn't get a lot... she gets "minimum residuals", but she said that was fine with her, as she got GOOD money up front. It says right there that SAG and AFTRA process 1.5 million residuals each year, that's a LOT of accounting and paper... I don't see them doing that if all the checks are for pennies.

Whoopi once again the voice of reason. I love how she says how his shows should not be pulled, because that damages the other actors ability to make a living, keeps them from getting residuals, etc. I mean, someone like Tempestt Bledsoe is not working right now, she probably needs her residuals.

Not from neighbors, she loves neighbors because they'll probably hear "the killer" as she'd say. She felt more secure being in a building where intruders wouldn't have such easy access, she said she could never live on a secluded estate. Her new house is in an affluent neighborhood where the homes are close enough together by the looks of it.

Oh, ok... as far as homes go, I don't see any reason she couldn't live in a gated community.

Yeah, I wonder how many of her newer fans know about radio Wendy or have read her autobiographies. I saw clips of her Vegas show, that's more radio Wendy, but only the tip of the iceberg, really. There's probably very little left to be put out about her, save for BTS dish about the goings on at her TV show or indeed, any more recent domestic situations that she hasn't shared with the public. But the worst of the worst, we probably know about already.

I just started watching her again recently, and I was surprised to learn that she finally bought a house. I wonder if it was for income/tax purposes. She always praised the privacy and the security of condo living. Her son is growing up so fast!

How can condo living give you privacy when you share a wall with another person?
