Ryan I am loving the whole Kevin/Monica/Alan storyline. The Quartermaine Thanksgiving...
  2. The Light: Episode 009 Monday, November 06, 2006 Phillip and Alan are both still angry that Alexandra was able to swing so many votes at the board meeting. Phillip encourages Alan to look on the bright side of things, at least a majority of the family voted with them, however Alan still feels betrayed by the board members who swayed the vote. The men stop talking business when Olivia enters the room. Cassie arrives at Reva's and inquires on the kids in Minnesota. Reva tells Cassie that Billy just called and they are settling in all right. Reva tells her that Bridget has taken the girls shopping. Cassie says that they have got to figure a way to lure out Reva's stalker and she thinks she knows exactly how to do it! Mel is working the ER at Cedars when Judith arrives complaining of chest pains. Mel quickly puts her in an observation room and begins to exam the woman. Judith is very chatty about Mel's life as a doctor and woman, Judith inquires if Mel is married and she says she is to Dr. Rick Bauer. Mel is then called away, leaving Judith alone in the examination room. Alan is called away from the breakfast table leaving Olivia alone with Phillip. He questions when she decided to move back into the mansion and Olivia tells him that her and Alan worked things out and decided to give their marriage another chance. Olivia finally reveals to Phillip that she is carrying Alan's child. Phillip questions if the baby could be his and Olivia assures him that they used the proper protection the night they made love. Before she leaves, Olivia tells Phillip that she has seen the error of her ways and now knows that Phillip never loved her the way she should be loved, the way Alan loves her...Olivia tells Phillip that the only woman he'll ever love is Beth! Lizzie is having breakfast in Ben's room at Towers and reads the headline in the paper, "Alexandra Spaulding Remains CEO" and wonders if the family can recover from this blow. Lizzie thinks back and blames herself for even bringing Alexandra back into the fold of things and decides it would have probably been best had she stayed away at boarding school. Outside at the nurses station, Lillian and Mel are discussing Judith's case and how she is showing no signs of a heart attack and before Mel can predict what is actually wrong with her she collapses to the floor. Gus calls in a favor from an old friend at the Chicago Police Station. He tells his friend that he needs to some information on locating a bank that would house a safety deposit box under the name Roy Baker. The friend tells Gus that it will take some time, but it is likely that he'll get the information he's looking for. Marina goes to Ben's suite and he quickly works to hide Lizzie away...Marina asks him if he would accompany her to a campus visit at Chicago State University and he agrees but quickly pushes her out the door. Once she's he asks Lizzie for some money and promises that he'll her do whatever it she needs to bring the Spaulding family back together. Lillian comes back and tells Mel that she has both good and bad news, as Judith listens outside the room: Lillian tells Dr. Bauer that she is suffering from fatigue and that it cannot be good for the baby! Mel is shocked to learn that she is pregnant and begs Lillian not to let Rick find out. Lillian agrees!

    Episode 223

Love that Lyla is back in the thick of things around Oakdale!!! YAY!!!
  6. STILLWATER, OK - Coming up next week on three all new episode of "THE LIGHT" Reva and Cassie come up with a plan to close in on her stalker! Plus, a daytime legend joins as a recast Bauer! THE GLOVES COME OFF With their children safe in Minnesota and away from Springfield, Reva and Cassie come up with a plan to smoke Reva's stalker out of hiding once and for all! "Reva has got to get her stalker out of hiding one way or another." Shares head writer Josh Hawkins who now confirms that Colleen Dion is in fact playing the woman who is making Reva's life a living hell. "Who the woman *really* is and what her motives are is another story all its own." Shares the scribe and while Reva and Cassie begin the preparation for drawing her out, Dion's character sets her sights on Dr. Mel Bauer all over again. "Mel has a few huge moments coming up, moments which will deal with the stalker." By next Friday look for Reva and Cassie's plan to kicked into high gear as they plan to smoke out the stalker! MIA: ROSS, BLAKE & HOLLY Fear not 'GL' fans this trio is not far from the minds of "THE LIGHT" writers. "I'm working towards setting up that story." Shares Hawkins, "It takes some time to figure out where I want to take the characters because in late 2002 / early 2003 the characters had little to do, so finding that story will take some careful thought." However, one storyline rumor circling out there is that "TL" will be revisited the Ross/Holly coupling this time with Blake looking in from the outside. Hawkins debunked that rumor however, "I've toyed with the idea and while readers may think that is where the story is heading, they shouldn't be so quick to judge." Whatever the story is, writers have promised that Blake, Ross and Holly are very much apart of "THE LIGHT" family and will be given a solid story as soon as it is in place. CASTING ROUNDUP Four big name ex-daytime stars are primed to hit "THE LIGHT" airwaves over the course of the next few months. "I've made it my goal to only hire out of work daytime actors/actresses with the exception of Alexa Havins who jumped ship from 'ALL MY CHILDREN' and assumed the role of Marah Lewis. Early on in the original casting process it was announced that former 'DAYS OF OUR LIVES' star and Emmy nominated, Christie Clark would be joining the cast in what was then an unnamed role. Setsiders are now saying that Clark was originally tapped to play the role of Lucy Cooper Spaulding. Things however went south when Heather Tom became available, prompting Nancy St. Alban (ex-Michelle) to be given her walking papers. "The decision to recast Michelle was one that was carefully thoughtout of the course of the casting process." Head writer Josh Hawkins stated, "And it is one that I stand by one hundred-plus percent." Michelle who recently left Springfield with her father Dr. Ed Bauer and traveled to Washington D.C. to see cousin Mike will return to the canvas in the form of Clark on Monday, November 20. Look for Michelle and Ed to return to Springfield together on November 22 just in time for Thanksgiving with the Bauers. Heather Tom is scheduled for a mid-late December premiere that will incorporate the introduction of Dan Gauither as Alan-Michael Spaulding. Also returning early in 2007 will be Alan's ex-wife and mother of his biological son, Hope Bauer. "Bringing Hope back for Alan-Michael's story is going to be critical." Shares Hawkins, however that's all he is sharing. No details about the story were made avaiable. He did confirm who would be playing Hope this go around. JULIA BARR JOINS "THE LIGHT" CAST "We're very exicted about Ms. Barr's arrival to "TL" come this winter." Shares Hawkins. Barr who recently announced that she is leaving longtime soap opera, 'ALL MY CHILDREN' has signed for an undetermined amount of time. "We will play every beat of this character." Shares Hawkins, "I've been studying her background and am prepared to do her justice." For more information on all this casting news, stay tuned!

  12. Spaulding Enterprise is UP FOR GRABS ALEXANDRA ASSEMBLES THE LADIES ********** "Guiding Light" fans recall with vivid memory the infamous Ex-Wives Club board meeting that happened in 2002 that saw Phillip's ex-wives turning over on him, literally and siding with Alexandra as the new CEO of Spaulding Enterprises. Well now a 'year' into that the board meeting is coming around and again and Alexandra (Marj Dusay) is left to wonder if she'll be able to hold on to her victory for another year. "A lot of things have gone down in Spingfield since Alexandra first claimed victory as the Spaulding Enterprise CEO and that is going to be quite possibly her downfall." Shares head-writer Josh Hawkins. For starters: She no longer has anything to hold over the women's head like she did in the past with Mindy's "pictures" or giving India money. But she doesn't really need those votes or does she? "It comes down to the wire and I'm not revealing anything." Continues Hawkins. The Ex-Wives Club come together on Friday, November 3 to make their voices heard.
  13. The Light: Episode 006 INSIDE THE LIGHT: The Lewis Family, Part Two Wednesday, October 18, 2006 Josh and Billy leave to go out and search for Marah, while Tammy and Shayne go upstairs to pack up some clothes. Dylan asks Reva if she thinks this is the best idea and she assures her son it is and apologizes for putting him in this position. Tony not understanding the connection is confused, Marah tells him that he knew about the Slut of Springfield incident and he sent that letter. Marah becomes uncontrollably angry with him and begin fighting with him. Saying that he’s had access to Reva all this time, he made the calls, broke into the house and probably paid someone to make those other phone calls during the live television show. Marah questions how much Tony had to pay to have Shayne beaten up and put in the hospital. Tony tried to calm Marah down and assure her he is not responsible for any of this, but she will not have any of it and declares that he should leave her alone, she says that he should never come anywhere near her ever again and storms out of the lighthouse. Tony goes after her in an effort to calm her down but Marah, gets ahead of herself and trips down the stairs, bruising herself up, allowing Tony to finally get to her. Scared that he is going to do something to hurt her, Marah tries to get away but is unsuccessful and Tony assures her that he has never seen those articles and knows nothing about the note she received. He tells her he loves her very much and only wants to keep her safe. Reva receives another threatening phone call, clearly a woman’s voice talking about Dylan’s return to Springfield. Unable to trace the call, Frank offers up that Reva should get the children out of Springfield immediately. Josh then calls Marah and reveals another call was made. She tells him she’ll be home soon. Marah tells Tony that Reva received another call and says that she is sorry for doubting him. Marah becomes shaken and unsure of what to do or even say, so she gets up and leaves Tony, without saying another word. Tony is devastated at how the two of them left things. The SPD sets tight security around Josh and Reva’s house. Reva shares a tender goodbye to her children and apologizes to Tammy for all of this. They get Marah, Shayne and Tammy secured in one car, followed by Billy and Dylan in another Harley and Frank is with the children and they arrive at the airport. The plane carrying Marah, Tammy and Shayne take off without a problem leaving Reva to wonder what her next move is going to be. Next on THE LIGHT Reva and Josh plan their next move. Lillian has surprising news for Mel. Alan & Phillip prepare for "The Ex-Wives Club Redux"
  14. I liked the wedding!! Especially how everyone that should have been there was there. I hope that we'll be seeing some more Dusty action especially when it comes to Josh's arrival and Lucy's. I ponder...if there is some connection between the both of them being there. Good wedding episode, I liked it. I will admit that I had to go figure out who exactly Josh Snyder was, they get pretty borderline incest in that family. LOL.

The Light: Episode 005 INSIDE THE LIGHT: The Lewis Family Wednesday, October 11, 2006 Reva leaves the KSPR studio and another bomb explodes…she screams out in agonizing fear…that turns into a rainy day at the cemetery where she finds a lineup of coffins…Ed Bauer arrives and offers his condolences for Reva’s loss…she suddenly realizes that there are eight coffins containing: Cassie, Tammy, Shayne, Marah, Jonathan, Joshua, Dylan and Billy. Reva cries out and jolts herself awake from her nightmare. Josh asks Reva what is wrong and she recounts her nightmare. Reva says she feels safe with Marah and Shayne, knowing that they will be with Dylan in Minnesota but not knowing if Jonathan is safe or not is bothering her. Josh tries to reassure her that Olivia said he was moving to a different boarding school. After a while Reva questions if the stalker could be someone they know, very well. Josh leaves to go pick Shayne up from Cedars and Dylan comes downstairs. Reva tells him she is so glad to see him, but not under these circumstances. Dylan questions exactly what is going on and Reva reveals to him that after she got a pardon from prison she begun receiving threatening phone calls and messages. Reva says they’ve started coming towards Marah and Shayne and she wants them out of Springfield. Tammy returns from having worked out at The Beacon gym and Cassie tells her she should hurry up and get dressed. Tammy questions why and Cassie explains that her cousin Dylan has arrived from Minnesota and he’s taking Marah and Shayne back home with him until Reva’s stalker is caught. Cassie then informs Tammy that she’ll be going with them, whether she likes it or not. Josh returns home with Shayne to find Billy, Dylan, Cassie, Tammy and Reva awaiting their return. Shortly after Marah and Tony arrive. Reva announces that Edmund was not the person that they were looking for and that her stalker is still out there somewhere and while she appreciates Tony’s help in protecting Marah and Shayne they have decided it would be in the best interest of the children if they left Springfield with Dylan and Billy. Shayne inquires as to where they are going and Josh explains that they will go to Minnesota until the stalker is caught once and for all. Marah is very angry that her mother would just send her away and despite trying to calm her down, she runs out of the house and speeds away. Josh and Olivia meet at Cedars. She informs him that Jonathan and Marissa are safe in San Cristobel and as per Reva’s request Olivia suggested Marissa send Jonathan to a boarding school in Europe to keep him safe from Edmund. Josh thanks her for helping out and putting their differences aside for the sake of their family. Devastated that she is putting her family through this Reva goes off and breaks down. Shayne goes after her and assures her that everything will be fine and that Marah will come around and see that leaving Springfield right now is for the best. Marah goes to the lighthouse and gets on the computer where she begins looking for plane tickets to Paris. She thinks that this is another ploy her father is using to keep Marah and Tony away from one another, distraught over everything that is going Marah begins to breakdown and realizes that if she wants to protect herself from not only the stalker but Josh and Reva and lead a normal life with Tony then she is going to have to do it her own way, with her own set of rules. She grabs a duffle bag from the closet and begins packing what clothes she has left at the lighthouse and that is when she comes across an envelope with Tony’s name on it. She opens the envelope and out falls pictures, newspaper clippings from the 80s through the present day, one that sticks out in her mind the most is the photograph of Reva and Josh at the country club fountain. The picture was clipped from the society page and the caption reads, “Tulsa bad girl Reva Shayne Lewis baptizes herself the slut of Springfield.” Marah begins to freak out and that is when Tony arrives, which sends her reeling. She asks where he got this information and he is without answers. Marah demands answers and he asks what has her so upset and that is when Marah shows him the note that was left for her at the nurse’s station at Cedars, “The water is warm. Make your mother, the slut proud before it’s too late.”

Gus informs her that Roy Baker died before he was able to talk to him. Reva goes to the police station where Frank Copper greets her. She tells Frank that unless Edmund was released from the jail last night, then there is no way that he could be her stalker. Frank argues Reva to reconsider what she is about to do, but she does not, she tells Frank to release Edmund. At The Beacon, Danny arrives and finds Cassie working. The two share a cup of coffee and Danny explains that he is waiting on Michelle to arrive. Cassie informs Danny about what happened with Shayne the night of Reva’s call-in show and she explains that RJ and Will are safe, she can make sure of that but Tammy’s safety is worrying her. Danny asks what he can do to help, but their conversation is cut short when Michelle arrives with Robbie. Before he leaves the police station Edmund comes face-to-face with Reva! She warns him about coming after or near her children. She tells him that he’s a coward and if has a bone to pick with her then he comes to her, she tells him that she’s arranged for a plane to take him to San Cristobel and that the she spoke with Alonzo about him coming near Marissa or Jonathan while he’s there. Reva warns him that she is far more dangerous than he could ever be and if he doesn’t believe her then he should test her. Edmund says nothing. Danny questions where she is going and Michelle tells her she is going to Washington D.C. with her father to see Mike Bauer. Next On 'THE LIGHT' Reva bids a tearful goodbye! Lizzie returns to Springfield. Mel has a fearful encounter.
  21. RECAST SHOCKER: Lowder is OUT! David Tom Sees 'THE LIGHT' Kyler Lowder is officially OUT as the recast Shayne Lewis. In his place will step daytime veteran and Emmy award winning actor, David Tom (ex-Paul, OLTL; ex-Billy, Y&R) is set to assume the role immediately. "Everyone was very pleased with the work Mr. Lowder did in the beginning of the series, but he appeared to old for the part, especially when we brough in Morgan Englund as a guest star." Shares executive producer Josh Hawkins. This news comes just shortly after the news, that former "Y&R" and "OLTL" star Heather Tom joins the series as Lucy Cooper Spaulding later this year, after her contract with "ONE LIFE" ends. "For the immediate future I don't see Shayne interacting with Lucy when Heather joins the series, however once established I see a storyline with the two interacting." Shares Hawkins. Tom's time with 'TL' will be short, even though the actor signed a multi-year contract. "Both Alexa (Havins, Marah) and David will be offscreen for awhile in the coming weeks because of the stalker storyline." Shares Hawkins. Look for D. Tom on Monday.
  22. Josh
