  1. My question is, why can't people who get paid good money to do this edit shots with such perfect sync as you've done here? Very nice job!
  2. Erica about to barf at lobsters and clams and eels and mousse, I am LMAO.
  3. "Mark, I'm a public. figure." Oh Lawd, Joe and Ruth pillow talk. I loved Linden in all its eighties glory, our living room looked something like that.
  4. LOL at her sitting on a Twinkie in that photo. I haven't had one in years. I wonder if they were still making the strawberry Twinkies too.
  5. Oh, absolutely.
  6. The way Barbara Rhoades' stunt double does that reverse somersault down the stairs is really quite hilarious. Not to mention how she so effortlessly sits up and starts talking memories. Vivian will forever be Donna from Sanford and Son.
  7. Gosh, that was so good! Thanks Eric! I'm so sad now...
  8. Charlie: Did she give you any (candy)? Tad: I dittin't 'twan any! Who knew Charlie was such a little jerk! When Tad stormed off to his room and Charlie said, "Yeah, you're just going up there to...", I 'd for a split second!
  9. How desperate of me to be live bloggging this, lol, sorry guys!
  10. How rude of these folks to keep bringing up Phil. If Ruth had something to share I'm sure she would, she's probably just trying to have a nice night out.
  11. I was wondering who that was, interesting. Where was Miss Erica at this time?
  12. Yeah, I do NOT like Devon. Didn't realize they were already married. I guess because he knocked her up? Palmer sounds drunk by the time he's calling out for Daisy. This would have made for a great primetime special. Love seeing the old commercials. Trivia: musician Regina Spektor was born the day this aired
  13. I was still months away from my first birthday when this aired which trips me out because I didn't think people like Mark and Cliff went back quite this far.
  14. Oh thanks, I just came back to ask if "good man Charlie Brown" Ellen was talking to was Wally McFadden. I guess he was living with them. Special Guest Star Norman Fell as The Acting Coach
  15. Yes, all so great! I love how dark it is, undoubtedly a very cold CT evening when they taped. I also love all of the OLTL Lord connections. JM said he always thought they could have toyed with the idea of incest, and they would of course eventually go there with Viki. Then you have original Viki here in the Eugenia role, portrait and all; sickly princess Nina, Viki and Merrie in one. I want to go to a masqued ball where a stuffed pheasant keeps watchful eye over the hors d'oeuvres.
  16. Oh geesh, yeah, they were annoying but mostly Betsy with her, "Sybil, that's not very good manners." I hope Agnes didn't write that early eighties Nickelodeon line. And no offence to anyone named Betsy, but the character and name are so perfectly matched. Sybil could have done voices for cartoons. I've never seen her in material this early, but I actually liked her voice in later Bobby/Cliff stuff where it drops a few octaves and she has a young Beverlee McKinsey thing going on.
  17. I was digging the band playing Something and sure enough Daisy called attention to it. Langley looks like Michael Tylo in that wig.
  18. Back to the masquerade ball, it seems very abrupt the way Palmer goes off on Ruth like that when he warmly greeted her when she and Joe arrived. So Daisy knew Ruth and Phoebe? I didn't realize she had a background in Pine Valley.
  19. I know they've got them beat by four years, but this reminds me of the first episode of Santa Barbara.
  20. "Her husband's probably dead, you know." LOL! Brooke is SO cute!
  21. How in the world did she ever get cast as Nina? Thanks. Isn't that Dr. Tolan? I can't make out the nameplate. Erica looks so good, her colouring. I really like Natalie here, Kate's doing a good job especially when she gets fed up with Jeremy and seeks an unlikely ally in Erica.
  22. I think most of her last stuff involved her nephew Jason and his relationships with Dorian, Marty, and Lee Ann. She still ran the diner at this point. VickRobCal has a lot of clips featuring her, including the one where she shares her plans to leave town. This was '93.
  23. Yeah, I just don't remember them and it's impossible that I never saw one. Wait, well if Benny cheated with a different Nina, there had to have been one later than '86 because Benny and Donna were still together late eighties/early nineties.
  24. Erica was always dressed well and Susan is a woman of a certain age who could pull off the skimpier dresses they put her in, but I liked it when Carol Luiken was still dressing her, like the elegant mid-life professional woman that she was.
  25. Wow, I did not know about that. I don't remember any Nina but Taylor from early and late eighties.
