Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Potomac is a delight to watch this season. Everything about it is working for me. Leaving the Michael wants to suck d*ck comment as neither Robin nor Candiace wanted to mention it, thinking the other hadn't noticed, was Bill Bell levels of leaving a story thread dangling to be picked up on later with devastating consequences. Candiace's mother continues to be abhorrent. Gizelle continues to demonstrate why Karen was absolutely right to cut her out of her life. Gizelle could create a problem out of anything and that introduction to the Ubiquitous organizer and then demanding why Karen wouldn't answer her same questions 2 years ago (hint: things change over 2 years!) is proof positive of that. I really laughed at Karen's dental appointment. Karen can make anything seem like appointment television. "These days I'm working on a crown." Oh Karen, never change. Katie seems legitimately nuts. That mardi gras mask and cigarette break was haunting. And then you've got Ashley, whose seriously cruising for a bruising. The way she tries to stir crap up with Candiace shows the ugliest side of her. She is awful and has so much bad coming right for her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Ha! Couldn't have happened to a more fitting person. He's been pretty vocally anti-LVP, and there's nothing wrong with that. I enjoy plenty of podcast folks who take a fair or snarky look at LVP (Danny Pellegrino, the Watch What Crappens Guys, Heather McDonald etc)...but Dave has always rubbed me the wrong way. Not at all surprised if Rinna, Teddi and Erotika Lame piped up their faux support so quickly - you'd almost think they know him - a media contact at People Magazine...only a hop, skip, and a jump to Radar Online...though we know Kyle is all over that.

The Wendy Williams Thread
Good for you, Lil Kev. It's pretty rich of Kelvin Hunter to tell Lil Kev to not take Wendy's handouts when his entire life is courtesy of Wendy's handouts. There is a bond between mothers and sons that Kelvin would be wise to not underestimate. Lil Kev might have his father's name, but he is his mother's son.

So you just accept baseless allegations without any evidence? Noted. And that’s great you enjoy the show as it is. And great that you enjoy Teddi. Somebody has to, I suppose.

I do not think there is any chance that LVP is going to be "exposed" because the simple fact of the matter is she didn't do what they've accused her of and not one lick of evidence establishes otherwise. It's a huge red herring.

LVP was so stunning in season 1 - she rounded out her face a bit with filler and I think that it detracted from how she looks. And they all film on green screen on Potomac, so who knows what Broyhill showroom they’re using for Giselle.

You have zero evidence of any of this. If you have receipts, please give them, I know Kyle and Erika and Teddi would be overjoyed to get some evidence. As well, your line of thinking ignores the fact that Dorit was bound by the adoption contract to return the dog to Vanderpump Dogs.

I just don't see how LVP returns. The way these women went after her in what's been the worst moment of her life with her brother's suicide...it's ugly. You only have to watch VPR to see how that cast supported her and even then, she was a wreck and openly admitted to seeking out grief counselling and taking anti-depressants. She knows these women actively despise her and will do anything against her and want to hurt her. Let's not minimize it: they wish her harm. The only person who hasn't really gone after her is Denise. And the irony is Rinna hasn't had much to say about LVP other than she isn't pulling her weight (which is utter bullsh-t now that we've seen this horrible season unfold).

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I have just had a look at her Twitter. Holy sh-t. She is tap dancing, back-pedalling, and making up whatever lies sound halfway credible to try and wriggle out of this. And none of it, not one lick of it, makes any sense because it's all untrue. Kyle and the rest of them tried, and they've failed, to take down LVP. You mark my words, she will beat 'em at their own game. Agreed re Denise. I think she works so well because she's actually letting her real life (which has layers of family, her husband, her work) be filmed. She's just herself. And that's what we watch these shows for. The real thing. Dorit, Teddi, and Rinna are flopping because everything they do is predetermined in producer meetings. Nothing is spontaneous. It's all contrived, particularly Dorit and Teddi. Rinna has the advantage of being humorous in her VT. Agreed re Camille. Her VTs combined with what she's said behind LVP's back demonstrate that she's simply not trustworthy. She plays both sides. And no, LVP hasn't really ever said anything negative about Camille. And yes, LVP stays making iconic moments. Checkmate, bitch.

Are you serious? Is Kyle actually trying to lie about the Radar Online article not being precisely what this is all about when it's all she talked about for 1/4 of the season and which an entire episode was dedicated to with the rest of the heifers talking about over dinner? Is she f-cking serious? Kyle doesn't get it. Her friendship with LVP is over. LVP said it to Camille: it's done. Everything LVP has done since she chucked Kyle from her home has been about the audience and making sure these bitches didn't get away with their poorly constructed smear campaign. I will give the editors credit for showing how LVP and Camille have had the most surface, basic 'friendship' the entirety of the series. That made me laugh.

My jaw dropped when LVP taking the polygraph emerged...good lord.

NYC was very good, as usual, and yet so, so cringe at the end.

Absolutely. Candiace’s mom was really ugly in that scene. To blame the sins of the father on his child? And when she KNEW of him before she married him. Just a total bitch.

+1 to all of it. This was a great episode and it looks to be a promising season. The Ashley and Michael scene had me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Gross. I couldn't believe it. The Grande Dame's new wigs are looking great. Bewildered at Gizelle being surprised that Karen doesn't want to deal with her and would rather spend her time with Matt - her loyal friend. WTF?!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree. I too am concerned that we'll see an upheaval in NYC when it's not necessary. This is the best cast of a RH franchise currently on the air and it's always a delight to watch. I cannot say that for any other franchise, save for Potomac which is still young enough to remain fresh. This is Sonja's best season and she's been hilarious and game for anything throughout. Perfect comic relief and a good foil for Bethenny. I couldn't help but pity Tinsley when she was whining about what a natural Sonja was at the circus while Tinsley was stiff and awkward and all she was doing was introducing herself. Sonja has a natural charisma that Tinsley simply lacks. Her marriage with Topper was probably the best fit for her, but it imploded, and she's trying to figure out a second act for herself without much success. I didn't think Dale was harsh at all: I thought Dale was being real with Tinsley and not indulging her child-like self pity. The infomercial for The Hustle with Dorinda and Sonja was awkward and ridiculous on production's part, but they were wise to choose Dorinda and Sonja. Somehow, because it's them, I didn't even mind. I loved the Ramona/Barbara shopping scene because it was so awkward as Ramona appeared to have an 'ah-ha' moment over what an obvious ass she makes of herself time and again with her unrestrained opinions. Luann...Luann...Luann...Luann. I love Lu, but I don't respect that she's violated her probation twice while on this high from her cabaret tour. I don't believe she considers herself an alcoholic. She said as much in her tennis scene with Jill. This hasn't been Lu's best season as her ego is swollen beyond belief. Her parole is up in August, so I'm disappointed she couldn't keep her sh*t together for a year. Heather McDonald had her on her Juicy Scoop podcast this week and I'd highly recommend listening to it. Luann gives good interview, but it's clear that she looks back at the incident in Palm Beach pretty defensively.

Y&R: Old Articles
Estee Lauder was cofounded by Estee's husband, Joe, and her son, Leonard, was the chairman for decades. Leonard's son, Estee's grandson, William, remains the chairman to this day. Estee Lauder is the largest cosmetics conglomerate in the world. If LML thought it was incredible that John Abbott, a man, could run Jabot, then she's a bigger hack bitch from the depths of hell than I ever could have imagined. Agreed, Alden and Smith did very good job at creating a need for Nikki and Brad to get involved at Jabot and breathed life into their characters, tying them to the Abbotts, which was especially important for Brad who was a lone wolf for so long. And that also lent natural conflict between Victor, Nikki, and Ashley, not to mention Jill. I can still remember the episodes where Ashley and Jack figured out it was Victor who was calling the balloon loan payment, and got investment from Nikki and Brad at the very last minute as Jill imploded in disbelief at how inept they'd been in managing the company's debt. It was the last great business storyline Y&R had.

BRAVO: Vanderpump Rules
I enjoyed the season for what it was - a transition year out of the restaurant and into adulthood for much of the cast. It's interesting that Tom and Ariana, Tom and Katie, Jax and Brittney, and Kristen have all bought homes in the Valley Village area of the San Fernando Valley. No more apartments for any of them. Hopefully the show will be wise and evolve with this and embrace how they're growing up. LVP doing a beer bong was worth the entire season. And Billie Lee is unlikeable, and frankly always has been, so it'll be interesting to see the reunion.

Never has a Ramona gif been more useful. I couldn't believe my ears at what Dorit was saying to LVP. PK was making an awful lot of sense and was fair: he believes it came from LVP's camp, but he believes her that she doesn't know who would have leaked it because she's sworn on her children's lives. PK seemed, for once, incredibly reasonable. And he knew Dorit was making a total ass of herself. All that said, I was glad that Ken and LVP held firm. I particularly enjoyed LVP throwing away her relationship with Dorit and emphasizing just how fake it is with the "I actually don't..." If Kyle thinks she was on the level of friendship with LVP that would entitle her to know LVP's nearest and dearest, she's kidding herself. She's the realtor's wife who lives in Encino. Plain and simple.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
And I feel exactly the opposite. It's the constant cast changes that make these shows less and less organic. I think a lot of RHONYs success is down to finding a cast of women who actually know each other. And I think that's only possible in a super social town like NYC. LA and the OC and NJ aren't comparable at all and as a result, all of the cast changes have made these shows more of a job for the women cast in them than a peak into their actual lives and interactions.

Karen is underrated as an iconic housewife. That 2 minute clip was better than an entire season of ATL.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
ATL Cynthia did herself no favours with her lame duck "explanation" about Kenya attending her party...but Nene came across as petty, lazy, and dumb in this reunion. Kandi skated that conflict with precision. Tanya deserves a peach. Marlo deserves whatever deal she can work out with Bravo - despite being a deplorable criminal, she brings it to this show. Shamari was a non-event and if it's true that she's not being asked back I wholly understand why. Eva is another one who I don't think is worth having on the show. She falls flat. But I can see Bravo's hesitancy in recasting too much of the show. Portia, of all of them, was compelling and fun to watch. Imagine that. But ATL this season was generally unimpressive. Bring on Potomac!!
