EPIC smackdown of Luke. I loved every second of it and rewatched like three times. I'd love to think it'll lead to a real romance, but because of TG's times off...ain't holding my breath. I will withhold judgement to see where the writers are going with this. I still pretty much am of the court that Tracy needs things Luke just can't give. But I ain't afraid of Bora, nor do I think she'd ever be a threat. Luke could have claimed her AGAIN and chose to let her go. Doesn't sound like undying true wuv to me, but whichever. I still wish Joe Jr would pop up alive. Or a new character played by RS. DUDES, I am not a Trekkie, though I do love my Benedict, and WOW my sweet Aunt Fanny he was so good in the new movie. I mean, stole the freaking thing right out from under everyone else. If I could someday just get a BC project with JE playing a part.....*squeals*, I think that'd be awesome.

It's all in the dialogue: what got to Luke wasn't the wedding - he couldn't give a rat's ass. What got to him was Scotty's comments. Add to that Tracy telling him what she really wants, which I have to point out is after years of NOT telling Luke she wanted the whole package, and leaving him to believe what they had was okay with her.

Luke has a lot of thinking to do, and remembering, and if we're lucky, some flashbacks. I don't think his vacation is going to be the big issue it was with Guza. Already RC seems to have worked his way through, and we all know the only reason Luke wasn't with Tracy when Edward died was because TG couldn't travel. Sure the cannon has him imprisoned, but even that was addressed with an apology first thing when they got back together.

I think we're going into new territory with LuNacy, and I'm finally interested in what is going to happen on the show. The only factors we can bank on is that JE will knock it out of the park and TG will give her every scene they have, because he adores her and respects her talent. Those are given. After that it's totally up in the air.

Oh honey, no. I am NOT worried about no lacy. Please. I know who will be together in the end. Everybody does! But Tracy is FABU and I hope she gets the kinda soulmate shes wanted for her whole life. Even if she ends up back with Luke for a spell I will STILL be rooting for her to get the real thing once he's back where he belongs.

"Honey", the pair that are over is the one that's been announced over so many times this past decade, I've lost count. People don't want to hear it - that's your problem. Drink the koolade all you want, just remember this board isn't going to agree with you. Antagonizing any of us won't change that one iota.

So so glad Lacy r finally over! Tracy said everything I always dreamed she would with Luke. She took a stand! Now somebody hand JE a emmyoscargrammy whatever cuz she KILLED IT! I was balling my eyes out. She's just as good as she was bck in the day when I use to watch in high school. Maybe even better!!!

Hate to break it to you, but LuNacy.2 is just starting. That scene was exactly what was needed to reset Tracy and Luke. Now they can actually write a proper romance for Luke and Tracy, just as TPTB seem to have promised TG/JE. And given the dates we've had for working together, and being there for each other... yeah.... no ending here.

It's when the studio is not filming all week long.

When was the last time the studio went dark?

Back in January or February I think? I read somewhere today that they are a month ahead.

It's a holiday here in Canada, and I forgot it wasn't Sunday. Gotta check this out later.

EDIT: Oh yeah... it was good. Hopefully this will be the turning of the corner for LuNacy as Luke realizes something about Tracy he's never realized before.

I honestly don't know - I'm not up on my GH gossip. But from what I understand, that is Luke's 'summer story' while TG takes his vacation. If that's the case, it wouldn't have happened yet.

I hope they really establish that Tracy is NOT, nor has she ever been a 'Laura replacement'. (Some fans still have to get that lesson learned a little more fully). Then the real romance between them can begin again. I also hope during Luke's coma that Tracy is his caretaker, and not have him somewhere outside of Port Charles like Robert.

Actually RC came out on Twitter several weeks ago when people were up in arms about Luke drinking again, saying it was TG's choice to drink. "It was the actor's choice." It was not written.

TG makes a lot of 'actor's choices'. It's a nice way for TPTB to sidestep responsibility, but it also lets us know what kind of influence he does have. Does anyone remember years ago when he said viewers can also tell how he feels about the story he's in based on how he acts the scene, whether he engages or not. I had to laugh when he was with JE for a few days, life of the party. Then he does that [hopefully] last LnL scene and viewers were wondering if he was sick because he seemed so stiff and bland. And when we got back to the next scenes with JE, he was life of the party again. I don't think he gives a damn what the majority of nit-picky fans have to say anymore, he knows Luke's days are numbered - as are his on GH - and he's riding this one out his way.

Gotta respect the attitude regardless of whether you agree with the behaviour.

According to mags Luke tries to get a drink and max refuses. Tracy wants to know why Luke is drinking again and they have a convo and end up kissing. Tracy stops it feeling like Luke is using her to fill a Laura void or something like that

I have heard rumbling lunacy are getting back as a couple but we shall see

I hope/think TPTB are ramming home the whole "LnL are history" point. TG and JE have been quite a few places saying they've been promised LuNacy, so hopefully we will actually get it. Luke has certainly showing his loyalty even in the face of Tracy's harshness. Perhaps we'll get lucky and see the romance we've always been meant to see but previous writers never followed through with it.

Also, do we know that Luke was drinking alcohol? He always took Tracy's drink, and she never reacted, so perhaps the drinks were non-alcoholic.

He hasn't always. A number of times he's been there just for her - I refuse to parrot the negativity about Luke just because he's not with who I think he should be with. The Anti-Luke-because-TG-hates-LnL crap on some sites is enough to many me puke.

I just want them to be solidly drawn on the same side. Tracy is certainly taking advantage of Luke's loyalty to her in this whole process. She's no angel.

Luke and Tracy were both in fine form today. As dull and listless as TG's scenes with GF were yesterday, today the life was back. Sweet how he wasn't doing it for the money, although he admitted he was receiving a bit of a fee, but he was really doing it because "Tracy deserved his help and she was scary smart". His loyalty to her is more evident with each scene. And punking Spinelli was the icing on the cake. Those two (Luke and Spinelli) are always great, and Spin should know Luke trumps.

For her part, Tracy told AJ the absolute truth and he's squirming to find out what she really has planned. She's also not tolerating Nic using her to win Elizabeth from AJ. Tracy called Nic on his ish, and even if Nic wanted to brush Tracy off, she was still right and his plan backfired. She's sounding like a woman who is in command of the world - and I hope that continues.

Ava Jerome looks like she's going to be an interesting addition. Still no closer to seeing who Lauren Frank really is.

Again, you being here is really immaterial. You insulting people is merely bad form. You telling a regular to "get over themselves" is way beyond the line of good conduct.

No one will give you permission to be here and no one will take it away. However you need to understand that the 'regulars' in this forum are friends in addition to posters here, and we would really appreciate it if you tread lightly. We've shared each others triumphs and tragedies, witnessed births and birthdays, death and memories. When someone erupts with an opinion, we all have a pretty good idea where it came from. There is a proper way to post here, and it does not involve 'hit'n'run' slams as if your anonymity gives you permission to be callus.

Luke literally kissed away Laura today, and went to NYC to find Lauren for Tracy. After years of Luke saying it, I'm hoping people finally listen. So nice to hear him talk to "Spanky".

When does TG's vacation start? We used to get that announced every year, but I've been paying less and less attention. This early in May is a bit soon, from what I remember.

Should hopefully be finished this week. If Tracy never says the words "Relish" or "Pickle-Eddie" again, it will be too soon.

I've usually like Nic and Tracy together. Neither of them is fooling the other, but they can certainly both rise to the occasion and respect what the other contributes or needs. Having Lulu to bond them helps too.

LuNacy on today, talking about Lulu, Lauren and Laura, which Luke again telling Tracy to get off that one. She kissed him, which he liked, and freely admitted how she loved Lulu. Hope we get a nuTraLu scene soon.

He also said Spin doesn't have the real information, so I'm guessing Luke is the one Betsy Frank was speaking to the other day, and she gave Spin the wrong address at Luke's request. If that is the case, than ignore - I don't watch every episode.

I agree, so why continue throwing her into really stupid point-less plots when she could be part of the real drama and sit at the air-hog's table. She should be involved with Lulu and the Cassidines, with Luke and the Adventure Group, with Sonny and the Jeromes.... anything that doesn't make her look so stupid.

It would be nice to see Tracy in a real story. While I appreciate the nod to history, couldn't they have picked something else to fight over besides relish? I don't think Lila even talked about it this much with the Q's were all living at Kelly's. Enough. Move on...

Okay.. just gotta say this. "Pickle-Eddie"? Better than Pickle-Tracy by far, but seriously... can't Tracy actually receive recognition for her own work or does it always have to be about her parents? That particular schtick is old and overdone. I'll be soooooo glad when this condiment thing is in the past.

You nailed it in one, ILTQ. Good for you! As for relish... I'm not a condiment person at the best of times, and this sure ain't the best of times. I'll be very happy to see the last of it.

Oh honey you need to get a grip and some new info! Tony Geary isn't atheist, Luke is. "My spirituality--like most of my life--is between me and God." That's all the man has said about God. He talks about LUKE being an atheist but he ain't never said he was one himself.

Actually... Tony Geary was raised Mormon and walked away from that tradition some time ago. It's great to have an opinion, but you don't need to undermine others in the process.

The scenes today were great. Tyler and Jane are gold together and I loved that Nic said that Tracy was Lulus mother while Laura was out of it. I really loved the scenes today overall.

It would be pretty cool if Tracy is the only one Lulu feels connected to, perhaps the only one she remembers. That would warm my heart.

I haven't watched yet either, but I read the recaps that said she was asking about Lulu. I still wish we had had one last real TraLu scene before JMB left the role. I'm glad the writers finally remembered the connection, but they are about a month too late.

Looks interesting... I hope it is enjoyable. And I'll be happy to see the end of the relish wars
