That only makes sense if you still think LnL are the end game - and if that was the case they wouldn't have had them ending in November, they would have had them reunite them and work around it somehow. And GF would be able to say she was returning - but she said no one has even talked to her about it. Everything else was internet gossip. Also they're not going to fire someone 12 weeks before their contract naturally comes to an end. They might not re-sign, but they wouldn't fire. It's amusing to me that the spoiler clearly said "On Screen Couple" and certain folks on SOC (I also shared it with them) are immediately trying to figure out ways that GF and VM are coming back. Man, get over yourselves. The likelihood of either of those happening are highly unrealistic. Sonny is not about Brenda and Luke is not about Laura. On screen Legacy couples are only Alan/Monica, Lucky/Liz and Carly/Sonny. As for the family leaving, I can't see anyone else but the Q's . Even JI said you can't tell stories for a man with a daugther and a daughter-in-law. And as someone else pointed out, all the Q's stories have ultimately been about LuNacy/Lulu, so it's not as if there is really a Q place anymore. Tracy is well established in the Spencers, even being referred to in the rags as part of the family on the Spencer Adventure. Every other legacy family has three generations being on regularly. (Perhaps not the Cassidine kids - but we do hear them referenced.) And at least two members of the middle generation in each are front and center most of the time. (Spencers: Carly, Lulu, Lucky; Cassidines: Nicholas, Sam; Scorpios: Robin, Maxie). I wonder when we can expect announcements.

Good to have some dates. This morning on something (it might even be a printed rag) I saw that Spixie go about town making peoples Xmas wishes come true. Don't know anything more about it but it sounds promising. Sam's fantasy/hallucunation is on the 23rd, but I don't think it's the "dream that ate Port Charles" like Scrubs was on Thanksgiving. CMC has just been called fake and confirmed by another, so I don't think we can put much stock in this. Spoilers have been mixed as to whether Luke/Robert have much time together and whether LuNacy are at the Scrubs wedding. At this point I think we just have to sit back until we here something consistent or see it play out. I just get the feeling the real insiders are all gone and those remaining are having fun with the desperation of a couple of fanbases. EDIT Just saw this in the IL at SD and wanted to bring it over here for discussion. My thoughts: A- Quartermaines: the two fired are probably Edward and Monica, with Monica and Alan reuniting in March and the three leaving together - leaving Tracy as the sole Q on canvas (since they ignore Jason's Q-ness completely). Unfortunately this is the neatest group and the one most destroyed anyway. B- Spencers: who would be the one person left? Carly, Lulu and Lucky are all part of stories, and even if GV left, that still leaves more than one behind. Bobbie and Luke fired? I doubt that since TG's contract is almost up. C- Cassidines: Alexis fired? Who would be #2. And who would they leave behind, Sam or Nicholas since both are in stories. D- Scorpios: Mac and who else? Maxie and Robin are both in heavy stories, so I really don't think this is even a possibility.

It's push-and-pull, not push-and-push..... Basically we'll get the angst and then the payoff, and then we're back to the angst again. Christmas is the Pull time. And it said they are in the same category as Liason and Spixie, not that they are acting like Liason and Spixie. It's a loose characterization. This past week I saw another comparison that said Sonny and Claudia are going to be much like Tracy/Luke - two people who grow to realize they are perfect for each other. I think all of these comparisons are shorthand for the insiders, but none of them can be taken with too much depth. EDIT The a$$hole's home. I'm off to bed. Night all.

Oh joy.. Well, on the upside Liz/Jason are part of a quad which could be blown any which way, and Spin/Maxie are always threatened by Matt and Maxie's desperation to keep it simply a friendship. At least there isn't a 3rd (or 4th) party in LuNacy and they already know they love each other. It's gotta be better than those situations. Lets just hope they get the airtime of Spixie and JE/TG are happy being with each other.

Oh... that's curious. The last we heard was that he wasn't getting the role. Oh well.... But I want Dillon back. OLTL also means a move to NYC.

My thinking (not that is matters in the least) is that they are pushing it too close to the end if they are not going to have TG around after January/February. They will not let their biggest name and multi-Emmy winner leave with merely a few scenes to wrap up his tenure. Tony said very carefully that "contract talks" hadn't started - but I'm sure he's already told them he's open to staying and not ready to leave just yet. They ended LnL for a reason, and TG wouldn't be talking about character growth for a character he knew was going to be ending. I think it's all a bundle of hot air. If Erick S. and Susan L. have taken a paycut, there is no way in hell Tony G. is going to be seen as the greedy-gus.

No Tracy, but that's to be expected. Jake is returned. LIz tells Lucky how terrible Jason is, then is showering him with praise when Jake is found - some might call this bad writing, but she just sounds female. Sam puts Jake in Liz's arms. Mac tells Spin he's to stay away from Maxie, and Maxie says no. Jax steps in for Maxie/Lulu when idiotic Kate fires them over a dress - one Carly even admits she found out about without involving either. Tonnes of praise for the last issue of Crimson, how it's superior to the previous one(s) - you know, the one Maxie did almost single handedly without Kate's help or approval (can we get rid of Kate already). Ric and Sonny Pas de Deux over Claudia. And that's it (I believe).

Nope. The last thing I wrote on SD about JE leaving was: "TG leaves, JE leaves, I leave - that's convenient." (or something like that) What was said? Is it in the IL yet (hate that site w/o the Search feature)?

Oh Hooked - that's the beginning of a number of nightmares as we give them independence, isn't it. My heart goes out to you, honey. KNH- you explained it just fine. This is a mom's hope - that these little traumas in life will not be remembered by our kids..... but we'll keep them forever. Oh sweetie, it's not torture for me. It's an academic discussion and I love that type of intellectual wrestling. The final outcome will not go in their favour - we know that - so it's easy to engage without upset. Actually s/he and I have become friends and often compliment each other even in our disagreements. I knew it was going to be pulled - not because the content necessarily, but because of appearance. Basically the mods agreed with me. (Mark this day on the calendar - an extreme LnL tread was removed on SOC.) So.... how's this for the irony of the day: JE and TG are leaving GH is going to focus on it's history (because it's been so successful on OLTL, AMC and Y&R) Therefore when they start their history focus they will be without their two biggest carriers of history. Gotta love the 'insiders' - they are all talking out of their individual ass. Until TG and/or JE says anything in the printed rags, they are staying and LuNacy life continues.

Hey guys, the SOC thread was pulled. Saw these spoilers by Ravenbeauty. Not new but I like the way they were worded. This week: Tracy lets Luke think they are divorced even though she admits to Edward that she was unable to go through with it. Next week: Luke tries to win back Tracy completely unaware that they are still married. And the rumours are still going around that TG and JE are leaving. The interesting part is that they are still listed together in their departure. Who knows - but the LnL fairy tale certainly isn't part of anything.

Hey guys, off to start my day soon. I just wanted to give those of you who post regularly on SOC the head's up. There is a LnL love-in thread entitled "What happened to this Tony Geary?" It started as two or three posts of quotes over the years about TG talking about LnL setting the moon. The quotes end in early 2007. Now I know the OP is a very strigent LnL fan, but has been fairly reasonable, fairly.... I've pointed out that the tone of the title is argumentative and might offend people. The OP doesn't feel this and some are trying to say I'm only responding because I'm a LuNacy fan. What I'm asking of you is please leave it alone. Don't come to my defence as you've done so admirably in the past. I'm trying to make the point that this isn't a fan-base issue. I just don't want you to stumble upon it and feel the need to respond on my behalf. I love you guys and this is a swamp I chose to walk into alone.

The breakdown for Christmas is usually families - which is why it's so wonderful that LuNacy is there with all the young families. NYE tends to be the couples establishing their relationship, so they weren't on last year and aren't expected this year. I haven't thought out a breakdown of dates for for the rest of the month, but we are assured they are on every week. And I believe TG is around in January because they asked him to take all his vacation over the summer, so we should continue weekly or bi-weekly into January, I'd imagine. So, be impressed - I'm about to go to #4 of the 5 events I have to do today. This is the Feast of St. Nicholas, so the my children - whom usually crawl out of bed at 9 every morning - were up at 5 for their stockings. I've had two cups of coffee this morning... that's how not-ready I was for this day to begin. Mikey has the littles screamers going to downtown Toronto for a political rally (with thousands of their closest friends) and I'm taking the older two screamers to a Carol singing at the mall. How I hate malls this time of year.... But, after that's over we get to have a nice Christmas dinner with our church family, so it's all good. How are the season preparations going for the rest of you? Hooked and TL, Chanukkah istarts the 21st, right? Is that also Solstice this year?

Thanks for the Spoilers, Hooked, and they finally make sense. I knew it didn't make sense for Luke and Tracy not to be a the real wedding when Robert and Anna were going to be there. That was the original information that was 'spoiled'. Even Guza wouldn't be that stupid.

I remember the story LL told about the way JFP fired her - the woman needs some campassion workshops. I don't think we will hear anything about the pay cuts, nor do I think we should. We know it's coming but that information really is private. GH doesn't comment on contract negotiations so why would they mention salaries. It's really not our business. The only reason we even know as much as we do is because Agnes Nixon said something and then the insiders started with their firings because of cuts. Prior to that we heard nothing.

I know PA is legitimate, I'm not suggesting otherwise. But even insiders are open to their own perceptions. Those spoilers sound good, and consistent. I can't wait to see how the rest of the month plays out. So far Tracy has assumed the superior position and Luke hasn't challenged it. I wonder how Luke will react when he finds out she couldn't go through with it regardless of her bluster. I really hope he laughs with glee and finally gets physical with her. I can't see him getting annoyed with her lie especially since they are together for Christmas.

Hey gang, nothing today from LuNacy, but we didn't expect it anyway. JaSam rescuing Jake - the Diva thinks Jason plays dead "really well" Carly upstaging Kate with the ultimate fasion faux-pas - wearing the same dress. Lulu called Kate a snob - good at what she does but still looks down her nose at everyone. Liz is having a breakdown and destroyed part of her studio - Liason flashbacks and voice overs. Sonny put AZ in his place - telling his personal aid to take AZ hope, it's past his bedtime. Ric and Claudia were playing tonsil hockey when Sonny returned, and you couldn't quite tell what Sonny was thinking. So glad to see the Christmas breakdown. I love it!!! All those young families and LuNacy. Someone at Prospect gets this. Who wants to take odds it's Karen Harris. And the theme of the month - sounds like a personal interpretation rather than and intentional attitude. But going after men? Hello, Sports and Sci Fi have traditionally been the obsessive entertainment of men with a few women around, while Soaps have been the obsessive entertainment for women with a few men involved. It's in the Bible - 14th commandment or something like that....

Hey gang, I just saw this dropped at SD from a regular insider: Kiss my ass Do you think the drop that Tony, Jane and RiH are all leaving in the next few months is accurate? And that Jane will be dropped to recurring or let go if she doesn't take it? No on RH. To be completely honest I have no idea about TG or JE but I would think not. Kiss My Ass Not sure who the laughing smilie is supposed to be associated with, but I imagine calling/writing for TG/JE/LuNacy is needed.

I'm not sure if a scene was cut or merely edited - that has been bad for awhile. But as for Luke being vague, he wasn't. He said he had feelings for Laura - she's the mother of his children, but they didn't diminish his love for her. Note he didn't tell her he loved Laura. When she kept pushing him to choose he said he did, he chose her. Tracy isn't hearing it, but it's not because Luke isn't saying it. Tracy is waiting for him to definitively say he's leaving her when Laura return again, which is not what he intends to do. In Luke's defense how can he give her a concrete answer to something that hasn't or may never happen. Tracy's doing what she always does, trying to sabotage things herself so she can save face. Problem with that logic is that Luke has no intention of agreeing with her because he isn't going to leave. Oh baby, I hope you feel better soon.

Today's Recap (Thursday, December 4) STATS Vets: Luke and Tracy Kisses: nope Appearance: hair is messy like yesterday, she looks sad but really good Stories: Scrubs with Emma drama; Nicadine bumkin drama; SoClaud in mob mode; CarJax divorce drama; Luke still trying to convince Tracy; Lulu back to work and Kate stupidly asks Lulu if she's more loyal to her or Carly Line of the Day: no line but Matt and Patrick get into argument about car sounds, which apparently Emma loves Sc. 1 - no LuNacy Sc. 2 - no LuNacy Sc. 3 - Tracy and Luke are drinking as they play poker. They banter, and Luke's saying they are a great pair, Tracy saying they were a great pair. Then she lists a number of things he did to her including poisoning her Martini glass. Luke says that's all water under the bridge, besides she got him back by faking her death. Tracy says he did that to her too, and Luke just looks at her - all the heart attacks were real and he was just about to end it all but she convinced him there was something great to live for because she said she loved him. Tracy looks at him drolly and they place their cards on the table. Luke wins. Sc. 4 - They are both slightly drunk. Tracy says she wasn't lying when she said she loved him. Luke says he knows she loves him and was really interested in him when he was in the hospital with one foot in the grave. But now that he's up and standing and strong, she's lost interest. Tracy say no way, she's never been interested in someone who's infirmed or feeble of dependent on her. In fact "I admire who you are" she says. Luke sits down beside her and said "then believe me now I love you and want to stay your husband". Tracy says that's now, but how is he going to feel when Laura waltzes back into his life. Luke still look frustrated with her but she's challenging him. Sc. 5 - no LuNacy; Robin is NOT given the diagnoses of PPD, but the "Baby Blues" - that undermines the bluster and the spoilers - so perhaps more spoilers are lies. Sc. 6 - still playing cards, Luke says she played him as she wins. Tracy says he's been playing her, she knows he lost on purpose. Tracy says he didn't answer the question, so that is an answer in itself. Luke wants to play another game so he puts a shell under a cups and tells her to choose. She picks the right cup and Luke says she's a winner. She says he still isn't answering her question. Luke says yes he has feelings for Laura, she's the mother of his children, but those feelings don't deminish in any ways his love for her. Tracy ignores him and says choose - I already chose and I chose you, Luke says. Frustrated, Tracy says it's always fancy dancing and she doesn't believe a word of it. Luke is also frustrated. Sc. 7 - no LuNacy

The outside was the Spencer home, but I didn't think the inside was. I wasn't paying close attention, mind you. I'm not so convinced about the 'wacky hijinx'. I have yet to see that. We had a little in Mexico when there were supposed to be lighthearted, but I haven't seen any indication that Luke is making this a joke. He's pulling out all his cards - literally and figuratively - and trying to disarm her, but I'm not seeing this as funny.
