I've always found this odd. In 30 years as Tracy she has never been kidnapped, deathly ill or in an accident. In r/l that would be wonderful, but in soapland that's neglect!

Too early in the year to worry about Emmy material, and Tracy/Luke are the featured vets so they aren't going to put her out for long, if at all. Remember in the beginning it was mentioned that Monica was a victim, but it's been consistently Tracy for some time now. They've been writing very well for her over the past three months, so I'm expecting that to continue.

Well they were going for their best two out of three..... they've got to be sleeping somewhere, or going for best three out of five.

Friday, January 2nd. Morning after.... Sam has her own issues and Lucky's an ass Spinelli has been hacked and he's now thinking himself "technologically impotent" Sonny/Claudia mobster two-step Nicadine realize the tractor patton is being used for military purposes Johnny not having luck on the job hunting front I gotta say folks, the show is still interesting. We aren't in the throws of a strike this year, and I can see Guza lining up all his ducks for this next big crisis. Even Winnie's introduction was interesting. EDIT Perfect Ms.Q, thank you.

Hi all, sorry Hooked, we did have a family party to attend and we're just getting home. Neither the Diva nor Rusty enjoyed the champagne at midnight, and the middle two wouldn't even try. But I had a blast, and now I'm going to fall into bed. I'll be back sometime after the sun has risen. Happy New Years to all of you (just click the statue).

Well, we've discussed optimism and pessimism to death, but with my optimistic crown I will believe the 3 years until TG says in print that he is leaving. Everything else is bating - and considering the studios are currently dark I suspect both answers. I think the one thing we can be totally assured of, however, is that TG and JE aren't going anywhere any time soon. I can't wait to see how Monica, Edward and Lulu (even Piph) react to the news that Tracy and Luke are back together. EDIT OT - so who's raising these children anyway??? My daughter just informed me that they are having a blast in the snow. The game they are playing is that they killed Jack Frost last year and now he has returned with his entire family to seek revenge. Honestly, they're worried about the violence on GH??? Cartoons are much worse. EDIT AGAIN Check out this picture. I needed it for my story and look how close 21 and 6 really are: We were all looking for the 6. Did anyone look for the 21?

Morning all.... still basking in the afterglow.... This was on the IL this morning. Not sure of the source (considering how much BS flies around that site) but still... Tony Geary has signed a brand new 3 year contract with GH. Even if this isn't true just yet, I fully believe it will be. And big hugs to Lainey and Star for chatting with the Diva last night. Today she got up immediately and started her Sponge Bob typing programme - she wants to be able to keep up and perhaps have a chat ID herself (there are plenty of sites for tweens, I'm sure). Reading, spelling and writing are a constant battle, and she's the kind of kid who wants to see a practical application for what she does (which is why she bakes instead of doing piles of fraction worksheets). So thank you from the bottom of a mother's heart for showing her how necessary it is to read, write and spell in this day and age.

Lainey, I haven't got a clue. There is no rhyme nor reason behind the mod decisions. What they have removed of mine and what's been left is ridiculous. They took out immediately something I said about Luke not being the Spencer that didn't win an Emmy honestly, but when one of the posters who admits she lurks here, used Ruah to suggest I was a bad parent by letting her watch, that post was left up until one of our gang pointed it out and reported it as bashing a poster. Only then was it removed. I thought your poll had merit, which is why I put it up again and just tweaked it a bit. Otherwise, I've got nothing.... I wonder why TL didn't like it as much..... Anyway Hooked, the boards that I've seen have been fine. Most of those who love ewcbo/LnL know they're done, and it's only a few who keep attacking LuNacy. They've been pointing out the kiss at the cabin as their 'proof", but the LuNacy kiss today leaves nothing open for LnL. There was a helluva lot more passion today and it was obvious.

Lain, the arbitrary mods have already pulled it - they just don't make sense. But we know the real outcome!!! Ms.Q - the whole gambling thing was described by Lulu, Luke and Tracy... - Spencers like to take chances - I've never risked it all on a man - take a chance and see what happens - we're worth the risk The whole point was that Tracy didn't want to risk her heart again, but Luke pushed her to finally let go and have everything ride on the chance of them - which ironically is the sure thing. Today's Recaps (Tuesday, December 30th - New Years Eve) STATS Vets: Tracy and Luke Kisses: oh my.... it starts with him kissing her hand, then he leans in to kiss her mouth but she turns her cheek so he kisses her ear and works his way over towards her lips. Just before he gets there Tracy opens her mouth, turns into him and kisses him with more passion than I've ever seen, throwing her arms around his neck. Luke is momentarily surprised then wraps his arms around her and pulls her close as he deepens the kiss. Appearance: Wearing Salmon coloured Jacket , hair is slightly messy and reminds me of how it looked after the cut in January on in the DR after the rain - in her face, only softer Stories: JoLu (NY at home), Nicadine (dinner on the island), Spixie (computer problems) and CarJax (MC restaurant) share New Years Line of the Day: Carly to Jax - "That's the difference between men and women - women will go anywhere for their sugar" Sc. 1 - no LuNacy Sc. 2 - Tracy (in my favourite jacket) enters HS, expecting a party. Luke said he had a guest list of one, and she's arrived. Tracy is shocked, saying NYE is the most lucritive night of the year and he's got the only gambling liscence so basically he's throwing away her investment for some meaningless romantic gesture. Tracy doesn't know what he's doing this for, to which he responds "sure you do", ...resistance is futile (someone's a Trekkie). Luke continues "I've grovelled until my knees are raw and you've bent as much as you can". Tracy says then they are at an impass. Luke agrees - which is why they are going to put the New in New Year. Sc. 3 - Luke pours drinks for them and pushes one across the bar to Tracy who pushes it back. Tracy says getting her drunk isn't going to change her mind, didnt the Dominican Republic show him that? The DR showed him she wasn't ready to give up their marriage. Tracy counters that she doesn't make impulsive decissions. Luke says she's not willing to give this up and she still loves him. Tracy says he's glossing over the salient point - Laura (your other wife) could come back. Then how hard would you fight for me? Luke keeps smiling at her throughout her tirade. Sc. 4 - no Lunacy Sc. 5 - Luke with the roulette table saying this is what life's all about, risking - you just have to put it all on the line. Tracy says she's never put it all on the like for any man. Tracy starts to leave and Luke rolls the wheel saying black you stay red you go. Then he challenges Tracy to see the answer. The ball lands on black and Tracy says it's rigged. Luke says no, it's just the way it is. They are the way they should be. Then he says "I could fill this room with roses, but that wouldn't be real, that wouldn't be us." Then he says something else and I missed it..... Sc. 6 - Luke continues to give Tracy her win. Tracy says he's letting her win. Luke says no he respects her too much. Tracy asks when Laura's birthday is assuming he filled Laura's room with roses (the ones he said earlier weren't them). Luke says that's enough. She's the one obsessed with Laura, not him. He doesn't think about Laura, only Tracy does that. He says she can't let Laura go - it's not senior prom. Luke is angry saying she's got to come back to him. Tracy says she kicked him out, he's got to come back to her. Luke says that's what he's trying to do. Tracy then says okay, Laura's birthday is December 21st while hers is April 6th. If the Roulette ball lands on the 21st he gives her the divorce and leaves the country. If it lands on 6 then she takes him back. Sc. 7 - Tracy puts all the chips that she's won (symbolically risking it all) on the 6 and the wheel spins. She's shocked to see the ball land on 6 (not sure if it's rigged - Luke claims it wasn't). Luke smiles in triumph and takes Tracy's hand and brings it to his lips. I've described the kiss above but all I can say is wowza!!!

I can't wait either, but in the meantime I've seen this on the IL... 2009 is going to be a new start for General Hospital. Family, romance and hospital are going to be brought back to the top. I was told romance is going to play a huge role in the coming year, especially with the younger set, Jolu and Spixie. TPTB want to be bring love back to daytime. Scrubs have been getting great feedback on their story. Higher ups gave seen what less mob and more romance and family drama can do. There still will be mob, but GH as a whole will be balanced. The hospital crisis is GH's first attempt to bring the mob side and the hospital side together. Everyone in the canvas will be involved. You will still have your regular heros, Jason and Sam but the doctors and nurses will get to play hero as well. Guza is currently loving Sonny/Claudia. He is doing everything he can to try and make them a sucess. He has wanted this since SBr came back. Guza also loves his younger set. Jolu and Spixie. He has big plans for them. He wants Spixie to develop into a real love story. It's taken a while but that is where it is headed. As for Jolu, he loves this couple. He wants it to be them against the world. He wants to go all the way with Jolu. As for Frons, he loves Scrubs. Good things were given to Scrubs because of Frons. The same can be said for KeMo/Sam. Thank Frons for JaSam. Frons wants Scrubs front and center, along with JaSam. From everything I've read this really makes sense to me and keeps with my feelings about the direction of the show. It doesn't help my LuSam love, but I have to admit if they want to make Jason viable they have to have him in a relationship with someone like Sam - he's been floating since the Summer of Sleeze. And if is the actress on her way out, the options for the quad change greatly. AND LuNacy is part of all of this - they are romance, history, hospital/mob connection and they are technically Guza's creation so he's rather invested
