Overall I was impressed with this week and fall out from the revealation. I am looking forward to seeing the Nicole/Dana showdown next week. I do wonder if June is going to be tied to Hayley.

I hate that Ted was recast and it will be jarring for a new actor to pop up on the screen. In some ways, I wish they would have had Ted leave town after the revelation to clear his head, have an accident that disfigured him and he had to have surgery explaining the new actor. Unless the Ted we were seeing was not the real Ted at all??

I have read numerous places on line that Leslie/Dana may somehow be connected to one of Anita's old band mates that she obviously has issues with. They were both from Chicago and Leslie/Dana stated she gave birth to Eva there. If this is true it could add another dimension to this storyline.

I think a lot of us still agree with that. I do hope that the resurgence in the soap world with Beyond the Gates will push ABC to either bring back these shows or produce a newer one.

Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show. I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted. Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes. It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out. I do feel sorry for Eva. I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down. Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started. Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.

Yesterdays episode was a great lead in the fireworks for today. It is a shame that Naomi and Jacob are not there and Nicole's best friend Vanessa and Doug.I am interested to see the fallout from this. I do think that Eva is Ted and Nicole's daughter.

@Alan I thought the same thing when Bill and Hayley saw Dani dismissed by the First Gen Board. I thought this is going to be Hayley's in as chair. It will set up more battles between Dani and Hayley in the future and I am all for it. On the flip side, a part of me would like to see Dani as Samantha's manager over Chelsea. Dani acted shocked by the moral Clause, but I know many places who have those including mine and I have had co-workers dismissed or demoted for their actions outside of work that were not appropriate just like Dani Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time believing that Smitty and Martin are adoptive parents to Samantha and Tyrell. I still think while the show is making adjustments, they should de-age them and make them at least upper middle school age.

I too am enjoying Mona and Ashley's mom. I do wonder if Samantha is going to become Dani's modeling protege, since Chelsea is no longer going to be in the modeling world. I think they need to de-age Smitty and Martin's kids.

Ohhh @Taoboi I love how you think. Ever since we Saw Anita with Jacob's dad I thought there was chemistry there and thought what is hidden between these two??? I would also like to see more of Jacob's family too.

I do also hope we see more of Anita's family. I think Vivica Fox or Debbi Morgan coming on as one of her sisters (the black sheep of their family) that has a rivalry/jealousy of Anita would make for some great story telling. Perhaps they could have their own family who are not as wealthy as the DuPree's.

Okay, so I am late to posting about yesterday's episode....so here it goes: 1- When are they going to give Naomi an actual office. Meeting with clients at Orphy Jeans is okay on occasions, but she needs to have an office and secretary to be more credible. Everyone knows your business meeting in Orphy Jean's... so much for client confidentiality. 2- Tomas- The actor lacks the Latino fire I expected him to see. Yesterday he was bad. I say either give us something to like the character more or recast him altogether. 3- Vanessa/Joey- LOVE LOVE LOVE them together. Jon and Lauren ooze chemistry and Vanesaa will make the perfect mob wife/girlfriend. I am vested in seeing this relationship progress and unfold, but would still like a little more backstory on both characters. 4- Dani- Butting in on her daughters business. Girl please!!!! Let your daughter have her own success for once. Also, are you saying they're no hunky doctors Dani's age they can test the waters with?? Have her open her own modeling business and become this successful business woman. 5- Ted and Nicole- I do like them together and am disappointed they recasted him. However I am interested to see how this wil play out with Dana. Nicole mentioned losing a child before she had Kat. Could Eva actually be Nicole and Ted's child?? She never said the child died, what if she was kidnapped? Dana wants to destroy Nicole too but why?? Could Dana's late husband been seeing Nicole for Mental Health issues and then committed suicide?? Could Dana blame Nicole for his death?? However this story plays out, I would like to see Nicole on her own for a while being a strong, professional and maybe test the waters with some new pairings before ultimately reuniting her and Ted. I like your ideas and do think they need to explore the character of Ashley and her back story a little more. I do wonder if perhaps Ashely's mom and Joey (played by Jon Lindstrom) were an item back in the day, and when Ashley's mom found out she was pregnant chose to get away from Joey to keep Ashley out of that life. What if Ashley discovers he is her father, she chooses to get to know him and he provides her with all this access to money ( she not knowing where it comes from or how he gets it). Dani Girl.... no!!!!! Sorry all that I have been away. Work has been crazy (bring on spring break), and one of my beloved pupsters passed away unexpectedly this weekend, 8 months to the day my mom passed away of cancer. So I am just getting back on the posting wagon. LOVE LOVE LOVE Eva!! This actress is a goldmine!!!! Loved her having a dig at Kat and I love her chemistry with Tomas and so want to see a Kat/Tomas/Eva triangle. Love Leslie/Dana whatever she wants to call herself. I want to know more about the character. Like is Eva really her daughter. Something Nicole said about losing a child before Kat was born, stuck with me and I cannot help to wonder if Eva is really Ted and Nicole's daughter that Leslie/Dana kidnapped from the hospital.

@Cheap21 I do like your ideas minus Ashley dying. I do think she could linger in a coma/on the edge of death for a few days and survive. This could also delve into her friendship with Naomi and Jacob, since it was Naomi's mom who caused the accident that killed Derek and severely injure Ashley. What if mobster Joey turned out to be her father, his vengance on Dani and perhaps the DuPree family might be interesting to see as well. Yes, or even think they are sisters for a while. Maybe even through in a little competiton for Tomas.

Yesterday's episode was interesting. The Dani/Hayley showdown was blah to me. We got to see some grit come out in Hayley, but I wish she would unleash more. I am wondering if we are ever going to have a Hayley/Naomi showdown, since they were best friends at one point. Andre/Ashley- Loved this and even though she says she loves Derek, I do think that Ashley is starting have feelings (or maybe they are coming back) for Andre. I wish they would show us the past between the 2 of them through flashbacks. Could they have been together before and Derek left Ashley to go on his jaunt around the world, breaking her heart. Is that why she is afraid to admit her feelings again, for fear of getting hurt. I am wondering if they are going to turn Derek CRAY CRAY.. Elements are there and it may make the character and actor come out of their shell more (which I did see some of yesterday). Cady McClain... LOVE Her as Pamela yesterday. I hope we see more of her and learn more about the character and her backstory. I would LOVE to see her have her own storyline as well. Is Cady on contract or recurring?? Ted/Nicole/Eva- Enjoyed this yesterday. Ted trying to keep Nicole from finding Leslie/Dana. My fear is that Eva is going to start bonding with Ted and Nicole and end up being deeply hurt when the reveal comes out that Ted is NOT her biological father. Martin and Smitty- It's obvious Smitty is the more involved parent. I am still on the fence regarding Clayborn in the role of Martin, but I am willing to give him more time. Why do I feel that we may be setting up a Kat/Tomas/Eva triangle. I would love to learn more about Tomas and his background. Dani and Andre- Why do I feel that Andre is going to end up being devastated by Dani in the end??

I love Cady and do hope and wish they make her character more prominent. Give her a back story and flesh out the character.

@Contessa Donatella Thanks for your compliments. I do see we jive on a lot of similarities and that is refreshing for me as a fellow daytime viewer. I too watched Days in the early 80's, but All My Children was my go to and favorite soap. I hate they way both shows have been torn down and destroyed. Same goes for GH. I am hoping BTG and its popularity will make the other networks stand up and take notice and inject some new energy into their respective shows. I also hope that ABC will realize that there is still life, breath and energy in daytime and get rid of GMA 3, The View etc and give it back to our soaps Sorry did not realize her name did not have an S on the end. I do hope that they will flesh out her story. more and dive into her back story with her mom and her friendship with Naomi. I do think Vernon has some skeletons in his closet that are yet to come out.
