How on Earth is Thaao Penghlis(Tony, DAYS) a Lead Actor,? Should've been in supporting, even guest. It is absolutely stupid to have the younger actors and actresses in one category, basically cutting the Younger Actor award, when several people were robbed of noms, including (if eligible) Casey Moss (Ex-JJ, DAYS), Will Lipton(Cam, GH), & Rob Wilson (Ben, DAYS).
DAYS omissions --- Stacy Haiduk(Kristen), Lindsay Godfrey(Sarah), the above mentioned Moss & Wilson, Mary Beth Evans(Kayla), Suzanne Rogers(Maggie), John Aniston(Victor), Victoria Konefal(Ciara)
GH omissions -- Maurice Benard(Sonny), Laura Wright(Carly), Kelly Monaco(Sam), Chloe Lanier(Nelle), Nancy Lee Grahn(Alexis), Scarlett Fernandez(Charlotte)

It's a shame, I'd take any Lucky over Friz. I am not a Roger Howarth hater, actually liked most of his run on ONE LIFE as Todd Manning. But I don't get why they would saddle Howarth with the Franco role, they could've created a new role for Howarth or had him play some other old character, Tom Hardy, AJ Quartermaine, Stephen Lars Webber, are just some examples.

I wish GH would bring back Lucky Spencer first, with a good recast. I think Jacob Young should be given the role back since babyface Jonathan Jackson doesn't seem interested in returning. And as young as he looks, Jackson doesn't seem right as Lucky any more in my opinion. Didn't particularly care for his last return.
As far as Dante is concerned, I think GH should've re-cast the role when Dominic Zamprogna left the show, or maybe killed Dante off, since he became quite the jerk before he was axed. I am 50/50 on a return for Dante, if he's no longer "nuts" or an ahole, then maybe I'd be for Zamprogna back, but he seems too old to be Olivia's son. I was kinda hoping for a good, 5-7 yrs. young re-cast.

SOD subscription is a little high, yes, but since it covers all soaps I subscribe to it, since it's much cheaper to subscribe than to buy. I do agree SOD has gone downhill in the last few years. SID subscriptions aren't too bad, and again still cheaper when susbscribe.
Maybe they'll temp stop production and come back once the covid 19 crap is over.
Agree Soap Opera Update was a very slick, nicely produced magazine, and I collected their year end issues.

Glad to see Jordan & Curtis in the Top 3! Sad Jackie Zeman(Bobbie) only on 1 episodie, same for Jon Lindstrom(Kevin) and Sonya Eddy(Epiphany), and only 3 episodes for Leslie Charleson(Monica), John York(Mac) and Ryan Carnes(Lucas). Where's Kristina Wagner(Felicia), who hasn't been on in months. I think only one episode with her new short haircut.

Thank GOD sounds like as a ghost, Probably showing up for Nicole or Maggie. Please, please, please, let that only be it. Definitely do not want DANIEL back on the show! if he is permanently, I'll be turning off the DVR of DVR'ing DayS.

Hmmmmm Justin Hartley seems like he may be more like Adam than we thought. Something's weird with him lying that they've been separated since 7/8, and they've been seen together several times since then.

Forgot to add choice for supporting actor
My choice Jon Lindstrom(Kevin & Ryan,GH), if not, it should go to Jason Thompson (Billy, Y&R). Steve Burton (GH) and Thaao Penghlis (DAYS) should NOT be nominated, Thaao esp. in this category, maybe supporting.
OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS should be Maura West(Ava, GH), 2nd choice Ari Zucker(Nicole, DAYS). Finola Hughes(GH) didn't have much to do this year, and should not be nominated this year.
For supporting, I'd go with Paul Telfer(Xander, DAYS) or Wally Kurth(Justin, DAYS) or Mark Grossman(Adam, Y&R). Good noms in this category, But Rob Wilson(Ben, DAYS) should've been nominated
Outstanding Young Performer. Again I think it's a shame that both male and females are put in one category, knocking all actors out. The winner should be Olivia Rose Keegan(Claire, DAYS). Possibly GH's Katelyn MacMullen(Willow) or Eden McCoy(Joss) could win instead.
Guest actor should be Chrishell Stause(ex-Jordan, DAYS), But Michael Knight(Martin, GH) or Eva LaRue(ex-Celeste, Y&R) may get it instead. Don't know why Elissa Kapneck and Jeffrey Vincent Parise were nominated to be honest.
Hoping Susan Seaforth Hayes(Julie, DAYS) gets it. Althought I think Tamara Braun (ex-Kim GH), Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden, GH) and Christel Khalil(Lily, Y&R) could get it instead.
I'd give it to DAYS.
