Doug Davidson is getting into twitter fights right now over DAYS renewal and the whole cast being let go...

They must still be on good terms, they were photographed at an event recently on 11/14 and I'm pretty sure she was at the Emmy's with him.

People are not consuming TV the same way anymore.  As more and more people are switching to streaming options.  Someone had mentioned DAYS was one of NBC top streaming shows (don't know if this is accurate but it does show up as a popular shows on the app).  Since someone mentioned Fallon - he has the most subscribers on Youtube of all the late night hosts, I'm sure this helps his case over there.

Late 2000 and early 2001.  I just read through these recaps for the episode count.  Sonny had a share of Deception so Carly was working with Laura on it and of course the two butted heads.  They fought over the face of Deception with Laura wanting Elizabeth and Carly wanting Gia.  Eventually, Carly screws up with Sonny by trying to do something to get him out of the mob (I don't remember the specifics of this exactly).  The two break up and Sonny sells his share back to Laura, leaving Carly out (Tamara Braun had taken over by this point).

Well, they need a decision from NBC soon since by the time this filming break starts next month (I'm guessing right before Thanksgiving) they will be shooting July.

 

As for the actors, if they are still under contract they couldn't just "get restless and find something else".  They could do something during the break when they aren't filming (i.e. Hallmark, Lifetime movies or web series, that some of them already do)

Yes, when it comes to soaps it is wrong more than it is accurate.  Take a look at the total number of episodes each soap has and it is easy to see that not all episodes are easy attached.  It is also impossible to get them to change anything anymore.  I used to be a top contributor for the site several years back but they started making it impossible to update things.

Why would the time jump change the filming schedule?  Last I heard they now 8 months out in filming.  They would need to stop filming for several months.
