I wanted to see the men's competition but missed it.

Was it the same competitors from the Olympics? Wish he'd done that at the Olympics.

Hanyu and Fernandez (Gold and Bronze at Olympics) weren't there.  But if Chen had a marginally better short skate at the Olympics he could of won.  Chen won the free skate by nearly 9 points.

  2. World Championships were this week.  The year after an Olympics can always make for an interesting competition since it is so soon after the Olympics.

    2. Shoma Uno (Japan) 273.77

    3. Mikhail Kolyada (Russia) 272.32

Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu did not compete and Bronze medalist Javier Fernandez has retired from World or Olympic competition.  Uno was the Silver Medalist in 2018.

    Ladies

    1. Katelyn Osmond (Canada) 223.23

    2. Wakaba Higuchi (Japan) 210.90

    3. Satoko Miyahara (Japan) 210.08

Olympic champion Alina Zagitova placed 5th.  Olympic Silver medalist Evgenia  Medvedeva did not compete due to injury.  Osmond was the Bronze medalist in 2018.

    1. Aliona Savchenko & Bruno Massot (Germany) 245.84

    2. Evgenia Tarasova & Vladimir Morozov (Russia) 225.53

    3. Vanessa James & Morgan Cipres (France) 218.36

Actually, it's Call. That family of networks seems to love his voice. They've used him on so many shows, especially those having to do with crimes and the paranormal. He does have a great voice.

Oops, that's what I meant :).  Not sure if I hit the wrong button or had a brain spasm and was thinking of Anthony Hall for some odd reason.

I love Bill Maher AND Larry Wilmore....they're both tops on my list.  I'm an atheist, so really don't mind his religious outbursts because it's basically how I feel.  Larry's senior black correspondent was always my favorite parts of John Stewart's show.  I also thought Milo made such a fool of himself that it shows why to not be afraid of having him on the show.

I so miss the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.

Nothing all. Congress would have to investigate and there is no way that the Republican leadership will take that action.

I think they would prefer Pence, he is easier to control than Trump.

    LOVE THIS!!

Because if he’d lost to Hillary, he would have played the martyr forever, called everything rigged, and had a cushy gig on Fox News complaining every day about how he would have done it better. But now he’s going to have to actually WORK, he’s going to be forced to deal with RESPONSIBILITIES, while surrounded by people who hate him and don’t respect him, people vastly more intelligent and competent than him, and he will be exposed as a loser. And then, we’ll fire him. He’ll go down as the worst president in history. And he’ll have no one to blame but himself.

There were rumors he was looking to start his own network.

Every ad of Hillary's seemed to be focused on him & not much else, I personally thought she needed to focus on other thing's besides him

Do we ever see ad's about what the person will actually accomplish?

While giving a White House tour to the Trumpence transition team, Jared Kushner, a White House staffer, was asked how many staff members would be staying on! :o:huh: Are these people really that stupid??!

Was Kushner asking the question?  Kushner is Ivanka's husband.

  8. While I absolutely am devastated that this man is going to be the President, if that were to succeeded I would be even more scared about what his supporters would do.  They already threatened a civil war if he didn't win this would just send them over the edge.

Jezebel has a surprisingly good piece which is just testimonials from teachers on their students post-Trump.

I am a teacher.  We did a school wide vote on Tuesday and I saw kids trying to bullying kids into fighting by telling them they voted for Trump.

  9. The father isn't allowed in the US to be with the kids. So he can see them he has custody, and Kelly is expected to travel to Europe to see them. That is what the original ruling was, then it was overturned, so she brought them back to the US and now overturned again.

That whole thing is a mess.  A judge in California should of never sent the children to live in Monaco.  Now the US doesn't have jurisdiction over the case.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_Rutherford  See her personal section.

  10. The better irony behind Kelly is how she handled that whole Giuliana Rancic/Zendaya comments a few months ago.  Giuliana's comments were reportedly edited to look worse and Kelly made no comments about it during the taping it wasn't until after it aired edited that Kelly took to twitter to gain some more minutes of fame for herself by jumping on the bandwagon.  I guess she knows how it feels to have her words mixed up but I don't she will make the connection.

  11. I really want to agree wiht this, but it's difficult. Sherri's bs sets adoption and surrogacy back years! If she were not getting a divorce, Sherri would consider this her child and hopefully she would fight for that child. Now, she just tosses it out so she does not have to come off of cash? The birth mother has to be wondering what happens to this kid once she hands him/her over. What does this do for surrogacy in the future? Sherri signed an agreement with the surrogate that she would be the child's mother and now she isn't ? Why not fight for custody even if her husband if the bio father? Because the whole pregnancy was for show? She doesn't take care the of the kid she has now.

It's no wonder some states don't screw around with surrogacy. The courts just don't have time for this!

If I were the birth mother, I'd keep the kid and give Sherri and her husband the finger!

I don't know all the details and obviously most people don't unless they are Sherri and her estranged husband but it is very common in surrogacy to use a donor egg or a donor sperm if the people seeking the surrogate cannot provide viable eggs/sperm. It is HIGHLY unlikely that the surrogate carrying the baby is biologically connected to the child. Legitimate agencies that do surrogacy do not use the surrogates eggs that is taken from normally a unanimous donor who probably has no idea that her egg is the one even involved in this mess.
