Honestly, this was one of the better shows in recent memory.  Especially after the last time it was on broadcast TV and it was a salute to Vegas.  Each nominees taped an acceptance speech and they filmed the presenter announcing each possible winner and it was edited together with the correct winner.

Beth Maitland was just 26 when she gave this Emmy-winning performance. I suppose she was just above the cutoff for the new category for younger actress, won that year by TEB. Judi Evans had won Supporting Actress (for Beth on GL) the year prior at only 20 years old, so I do wonder if the real reason for the younger categories was to protect the veteran performers from daytime’s youth onslaught.

 

Judi Evans has discussed that she did not have a good experience on set after winning the Emmy.  The age requirement has varied over the years, Don Scardino was 36/37 when he was nominated for Younger Actor in 1986.

Where did this info about pre-2013 stuff?  Is it from Carolyn Hinsey comments about music rights?  That only makes sense for episodes with music in them (i.e. early Nurse's Ball stuff).  Not every episode at music with rights they need to worry about, case in point they had had those collections with earlier episode (including when they did the Sonny/Carly collection on ABC.com with episodes from Sarah Brown/Tamara Braun included.

They released a summer promo, it looks like she shows back up in town pregnant and is giving her baby to Sonny/Will to raise.

When I try and click on 1991, it comes up with a "you must be a subscriber".  I don't see 1996.

They have the Victor/Nikki wedding and the episode from March 1993 up.  The 1991 episode you have to have CBS All Access.

Illinois governor does his usually at 3pm-ish which used to be Jeopardy so the local affiliate switched Dr. Phil to 3pm and Jeopardy to 4pm since people were upset Jeopardy got interrupted.  They can also catch Dr. Phil at 11am on a sister station (this is an NBC station).

I was skeptical at first but I'm intrigued by the preview.

California is a hot spot. New York is a hot spot. Miami is a hotspot. IMO. There are more and I'm guessing it has to do with international travelling. Maybe they aren't being called that but I am.

 

We just need national lockdown, testing everyone, and to move on from this. We can't just sit home until like August hoping for the best.

 

Anywho, I wish Lanier well! ALL OF US could get this. Age doesn't matter. Some of us may have it and have no symptoms. I think we're all being made to be terrified but how can you not be?
