That’s a pretty good comparison. She also provides a lot of the quips and sharp commentary that Bethenny once provided (time will tell if it becomes as overbearing).

I saw this on the rerun of last year’s reunion, and I forgot how hilarious Ramona’s little “YOU look OLD for your AGE...” song and dance was.

Dorinda’s horrible.

Funny how many big hits KC and the Sunshine Band had. I was looking for Paul McCartney but saw he was credited with Wings. I suppose the only No. 1 hits he had as a solo artist (meaning not with Linda, Wings, or Beatles) were ironically duets (“Ebony and Ivory” and “Say Say Say”).

Just saw Rachel Bloom, who worked with Adam Schlesinger on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, gave birth to a baby girl today after learning her friend had died of COVID-19.

My college best friend hightailed it out of NYC to his hometown of San Diego with his wife and two small kids. Can’t say I entirely blame him. 

That’s so sad about Adam Schlesinger. Loved Fountains of Wayne back in the day (before “Stacy’s Mom” made them super popular).

COVID-19 cases by zip code in NYC. Look at how bad Queens and Brooklyn are compared to Manhattan. There’s really only one neighborhood in Harlem that’s really strongly affected.

They should have just updated that one in recent years.  Modern instrumentation, an ambulance with sirens going, a shot of the hospital and logo, and quick cut to black and back into the show.  Maybe 15 to 20 seconds and pumped with energy.

 

Although it would be leading in to a show that is often lacking in energy.

I totally agree, and I also loved FOTH. You don’t always need to see faces of characters. Sometimes a spinning globe or an hourglass or a speeding ambulance is more impactful. And no need to constantly update.
