Totally, but they have zero idea what to do with Victoria outside of Billy. We’ve had glimpses of non-Billy-obsessed Vicky (like with Travis), but it never lasts. That character needs a rethink, and as bad as the JT story was, it was the perfect opportunity for a reboot that would have been somewhat organic. (I understand it’s tough when they are tied together with kids. Maybe Billy needs a stint in prison or something, so that he’s off the canvas.)

And the Kristen story is aimless too. As she tries to cover her tracks, she impersonates or imprisons someone new seemingly every other day, and the story gets further and further away from her initial plan to keep tabs on Brady and Chloe.
 

It almost feels like RC puts a bunch of scenarios in a hat, pulls a few of them out each week at random, and calls it a show.

IMO Michael Mealor vaguely works as Alex Donnelly’s son, so his Kyle doesn’t bother me lookswise. The problem for me is the mushy characterization. To start, the show wasn’t quite sure if they wanted him as a wild Lothario in a nod to Jack’s early days or a salt-of-the-earth romantic hero, and now he’s just bland.

The storyline flow on this show is so chaotic.
