I thought it was nicely done as a one-off, self-contained story that felt somewhat organic and rooted in the current world of GH. And Caitlin Reilly is a really strong actress who fit in seamlessly.

I completely agree with this. It’s a touch heavy-handed. Like we’re getting perilously close to a constant “Stanley from The Office” side-eye.

Violent crime, especially shootings and subway slashings, has gotten out of hand here in NYC (certainly compared to recent numbers, if nowhere near the heights of the ‘80s and early ‘90s). It’s not surprising that supposed “law and order” candidates would thrive in this environment. Kathryn Garcia got the NYT endorsement.

This week is zzzzz. A letdown after last week.
