Those outdoor courts in Italy seem like the players are playing in the streets/parking lot. They are horrible.

I saw the scheduling earlier and it's ridiculous. It is very unfair to those in the second round since a few are already in the 3rd round with a day off. Why don't they just have a night men's and women's final on Sunday or a Monday final? This schedule is horrible. That's why I love Madrid. They have 3 courts with roofs. Notice how it rarely rains there and when it does the roofs are closed. The organizers of the Italian Open are so behind. They have the worst weather. It rains almost every year during that tournament. You'd think they'd build some roofs....crazy.... BTW...Grigor took a WC in qualifying to next week's Geneva tourney.......wow...Grigor playing qualifying....his ranking is close to dropping out of the top 50....he is currently at #46.

So they hike up the prices and the day is a washout. Do they get a refund? All the money lost....serves them right. I hate this tournament. Never understood why it's a 1000 event. The courts are small and ugly with no roofs and the Italian fans are awful.

The Italian Open sucks. Get some damn roofs. The tournament is so outdated.

Matteo is really an average player. He won a 250 two weeks ago but in Monte Carlo he lost early and looked horrible in Miami. The Italian men seem to show up only in their home tourney. Their awful fans pump them up. The rest of the year the Italian men are non existent.

Nadal looked rather pissed while shaking Tsitsipas hand. I like her groundstrokes but hate her serve. Bertens totally missing the easy winner and the ball hitting Halep's body was hilarious....LOL Interesting that some are getting sick of Roger especially when this video popped up. BTW... I'd love to own the painting of Thiem which was painted by an artist during his match against Joker.

Had Thiem beaten Joker he would've played back to back as he just made the doubles finals with Diego. Thiem said he played well against Joker during his interview. He looked great in the first set until the tie breaker where he looked mentally fatigued IMO. He looked really happy making the doubles final. His team was there minus his mom....I guess she doesn't care for doubles....LOL. Its too bad Thiem didn't win in singles because a lot of people had him winning it all even some sports writers who never pick Thiem. Joker vs Nadal final.....zzzzzzzzzzz Oh and the Thiem rubbing is ridiculous....saying he couldn't beat all 3 at the same time....some who are Fed fans.....I seem to remember Roger not able to win Paris until Nadal lost early....how soon Fed fans forget. You couldn't tell ratings wise as it was still at the top and sometimes #2 behind Y&R. I thought the stories were still good of course every writer has his clunkers. Many say ATWT became very dark the last two years and some contribute that to Marland's health issues that most didn't know about.

A Venus vs Serena second round in Italy with winner getting maybe Sloane Stephens in the third round who by the way disappointed again today. And Tennis Channel is getting blasted for not showing the Tsitsipas vs Zverev match...... And Nadal played really well against Stan. Surprised it wasn't closer and now the Rafa fans are saying he will win the French Open and is unstoppable.....to which someone posted....he's been stoppable the last two weeks...LOL @ChitHappens Tennis Channel just confirmed that Ki Ki was already in Italy playing qualifying......dump her Dominic now......LOL

Tsitsipas upsets Sascha. I didn't expect that even though Sascha has been playing rather dreadful. Tsitsipas now has a 2-1 lead in their HH match ups. With the loss Sascha drops to #5 in the world and Thiem moves back up to #4.

I sure was. That was one hell of a tie-breaker! Ha.....I noticed that Roger started looking tired right before Thiem got the first break in the 3rd set. Some of the shots Thiem hit towards the end were just ridiculous....especially the passing shot that won him the second break in the 3rd set. Thiem said in his post inteview with TC that he was very nervous at the start of the match. You could tell because he was spraying balls everywhere. Thiem knew he was the favorite and it put more pressure on him than at Indian Wells. Brad Gilbert called it a standing ovation match. I hope so! I also think Thiem can win the US Open with it playing at medium pace. He should've beaten Rafa last year in the QFs to get to the semis. After the Thiem match.....I am totally exhausted....yet still more tennis to watch....LOL Oh and yes Thiem unfortunately is still with Kiki. She lost early in Madrid and wasn't in Thiem's box. I am assuming she left already for Italy and the Italian Open. Nacho the umpire for that match is awful. He did the same thing during a Thiem match....LOL. Thiem got warned for slow play???....laughable.

Fed fans are already saying Roger will get his revenge. Tennis fans were upset that the Thiem vs Fognini match wasn't shown on TC. They were trashing Osaka being shown and Novak since Chardy was no competition for him.

Monfils blew it. He should've won. Up a break in the third set. Roger fans relieved he won and the rest saying Monfils should've won it.
