Been watching a lot of 86 and 87 season of ATWT. I had forgotten how good it was at that time. The scenes were much longer and at least one story affected everyone on the canvas. The Sabrina story had everyone involved. Even Lucinda who exposed Sabrina existence on a tv station she owned. No wonder the show was in the top 3 a lot and even #2 a few times.

The look on Lucinda face around the four minute mark is brilliant. Liz didn't have to have any written lines to show us what a brilliant actress she was.

Well he said for the health insurance. But he also meant a paycheck is a paycheck. I really hadn't heard Scott talk about ATWT or get interviewed. He is a straight shooter. He came off warm at times and cold at times during this interview. It's not what I expected. He and Ellen were asked how they felt replacing two fan favorites in HBS and Gregg Marx. Ellen didn't answer but Scott said what was he suppose to do...play the part his way because he couldn't control anything else. It's obvious he wasn't happy with what became of ATWT and its demise. I'm sure he would've said much more had Alan not changed the subject.

Thanks Khan. I'm still in shock. I was watching coverage on him but couldn't anymore because it's still very raw. I hope our university does something special in his name.

About half way though the hour. He mentioned working with Kelly and said it felt off with him cheating on Margo with Emily. He pretty much said he hated learning his lines towards the end because the storylines were so bad. He said he loved seeing everyone everyday but doing the actual show wasn't fun anymore. He said he was glad it got cancelled because it wasn't a good soap at the end but had it not been canceled he'd still would've stayed....paycheck for his old age he said..lol...medicare.....etc...lol

Scott Defrietas needs to take over as host. Alan is horrible. All this yelling over his guests is too much. I really loved Scott Holmes trashing the show. What the writers and producers did to this beloved show is unforgivable.

I went to college with him. One of his best friends from college can't believe that such a sweet guy was killed.

Alan is horrible and talking over Scott and interrupting. Scott Holmes trashing the ending of ATWT. How the show went out in a wimper. How horrible the last few years of ATWT were and how bad the storylines had become.

Paul Lammers discussion. How tough a director he was and he would curse at some of the bad takes..lol. But he was sweet person but during taping he was all business. This is why he was ATWT best director. Ooooo Benjamin didn't like Scott at the beginning...

I think she had barely had a child when she was asked. I did enjoy MBE in the role.

I was watching a clip from 1994....and ATWT had almost all of the core characters from Marland 's 80s around. I noticed Finn Carter returned as Sierra. Does anyone remember why Sierra returned? It's so sad that the talent pool was loaded yet ATWT had Richard Backus as HW and he was totally clueless.

This is how close Days got to Y&R in 97. It isn't the highest HH number Days got in 97. That happened in January where Days was #2 with a 6.6 HH and YR was #1 with an 8.0

A remote I and @DRW50 enjoyed is discussed. Martha's acting on this episode was horrific. Samantha Markham was such a dull character. The two actress that played the role were terrible too.

Watching back so much of the early 90s has been great. Marland s early 90s had way too many murder mysteries. One after the other. I wonder If that's why ATWT at that time had a ceiling in the ratings? I mean they were good but could've been even higher. I don't recall Marland doing so many deaths on GL. ATWT had a lot of great talent and so much was wasted on bad pairings or lack of story...Evan Walsh being one of them. Why bring in the talented MKA just to kill her off? And recasting Melanie Emily with Kelly's version was so wrong. Laurence Caso was responsible for that. OMG! When is this?
