Thanks Jason! Did they ever finally fix Jeremy's ornament? I know Chloe's ornament famously broke but my mother swears that someone else's ornament broke right before they died not long after but I could never verify who she was talking about. 

Off the top of my head, Gabi, Ciara, Claire all broke. Jennifer broke Laura's in the 1980's, but they are usually all "replaced" with the same one the next year (since a replica is used for the "broken" one). I don't keep tracj of the ones shown on air each year, so I'm not certain if Jeremy's was ever seen again after being broken.

They reused Faith's for Jack's, so hers no longer exists.

If they start in early January, they will still be 6-7 months ahead. Clearly we all agree is far from optimal, but if its the only way to keep the show going....

Jennifer Gee mainly played Susan. Lindsay was recast pretty quickly. Brett Lawrence only did 1 episode as Kevin, so that's why you don't remember him. Natalie Ramsey played the first Jan, and she was recast after 2 episodes. And Doren Fein played the first Mimi, and she was recast after 3 episodes. So that's a rare trifecta right there for 3 of the Last Blast crew being replaced so quickly.

Camila Banus (Gabi) posted a video on Periscope earlier today. In it, Banus states this: "All these articles, with headlines saying that our show's being axed, that we have all been fired is bs...I have not been fired from Days of Our Lives. That is ridiculous. None of my co-stars have been fired from the show. For articles, for TMZ to be putting that we have been fired, that we have been let go is ridiculous and fake, false news. And it's shameful."

Whether or not NBC renews, they will begin taping in March 2020 for August airing episodes maybe to film the final stories until cancellation date. So they'll still be approx 4 months ahead. 

I didn't say they've done 4 months off before. This will be the first time 4 months is done. I said in past "long breaks" (2+ months) some contracts have lapsed and then the actors sign once the show resumes production. Obviously 4 months off now is more than 13 weeks, so everyone's contract (13-week cycle) would lapse during the production break this time, thus this one involves the whole cast.

If it helps any, I've heard they did similar stuff in the past for those long breaks they've taken. That contracts would lapse during the production break and people would then sign again once the show went back into production.
