If GT had been cast as anyone other than my beloved Phyllis Summers then I might have cut her some slack.

Ugh, can't stand GT either. She's been out of work for how many years? And no one has picked her up? Seriously. Never want to see Kelly Kramer ever again (cuz she ain't no Phyllis).

Wow, thanks so much for these clips. I can't stand CW's Nina and only ever saw her before for that short stint as the crazy sister on YR. Yep, she should have left her face alone, so pretty. Loved seeing Clint Buchanan as the attorney. LOL I hated Ava so much in the beginning. Also never saw MW in anything else until GH. Then they gave her cancer when she left the show for a while, and I honestly missed her outrageous character. Didn't care for the whole cousin Denise DeWhatever that she came back as, but I love MW now and will forever. Oh, and get RID of the head-bobbing Portia. Can we trade her straight out for Zeke?

Glad to have Sharon back on screen. She started out with her odd speaking voice and had that weird knot in her hair at the back of her head when they filmed her from behind. But she returned to normal later in her scenes and someone took a brush to the back of her hair and fixed it. lol

Speaking of TMZ, they have turned into a somewhat reliable news source for the entertainment industry reportings. I don't go there much, but they usually are the first to report the truths. In fact, they just reported that Steve Burton has finalized his divorce from his longtime wife (23 years) and established child support payments ($12.5 K per month). I think I knew this, but he filed for divorce after his wife turned up pregnant again and he said the baby wasn't his. Oops!

It's also obvious that the Haley Pullos legal trouble really threw a huge wrench into this whole s/l. In the beginning they just thought they needed a recast Molly for a short time while HP recovered from what they thought was just a car accident injury. When THAT all blew up, the recasting musical chairs started for Molly. Who was recast first? Molly or Kristina? Seemed like both new actresses showed up on screen at the same time. Which also makes me wonder if the original Molly had stayed, would they have recast Kristina at all. Or was Mansi already on their radar by then and being signed to a contract first?

The moment I heard Mansi was in the role of Kristina, I immediately knew they got rid of LA for this reason. They knew they wanted to write this big surrogate storyline, and they wanted a powerhouse actress to be in it. Or who knows, maybe KMansi put herself out there to these guys that she wanted a role on GH so they plunked her into this one. I have no doubt that LA just nicely said it was mutual (or whatever). I don't believe they wanted this s/l to go to her. Kate Mansi is a huge "get" for a recast of a character that was historically barely on since her big ShiloHank cult s/l. I think Lexi's babyface youthful appearance did her in this time.

I'm new to this site, but can I just say how AWESOME all of you contributors are here! You all have a ton of soap knowledge that I really appreciate. As a lifelong AMC fan to the very end, I have to start with the disturbing rape of Bianca by Michael Cambias. Very dark. Towards the end of AMC's run when babies were dying a lot, the most disgusting plot was when Jesse Hubbard buried a dead baby on the edge of a park, not even covering it completely with dirt. I have no idea who wrote that filth, but it was terrible. Of course the graphic other rapes on soaps have been awful and dark. My first foray into watching the much-beloved DOOL was in 2011 after ABC axed OLTL and AMC. I was devastated. I decided to try DOOL, and it was at the time of the Necktie Murders. (I had just seen the actor playing "Ben the NT murderer" as Petey Cordtland on the PP version reboot of AMC) Those actual murders were bad enough on their own. But the show loved to revisit the graphic murders over and over again via flashbacks. It was non-stop and was always horrible every time the flashbacks were shown. So many other moments I have now forgotten, but thanks to you all for refreshing my soapy memory.

ITA with you. I only can watch on Hulu too, and I've been b*#ching about not even getting next-day previews ever. No end-of-show tributes either. Oh well, I doubt they will throw us a bone on this one either.

Are there spoiler threads here somewhere? Someone here recently posted that outbreaks of covid had happened on several filming sets and some shows (or studios?) had to shut down production because of it. Not GH, but maybe some actors will be off temporarily if they are sick again.

Again I ask, have they only had the one sex romp when they were in NY? Spencer made it sound like that when they were talking. I just don't get the pull of this couple. I kindly disagree that most new young couples are not exactly sex-crazed, but they DO take most opportunities to get with each other when they have private time.

It's exhausting to watch Nina once again try to tell Carly something of importance only to have her take too long and Carly losing interest in what Nina is trying to say. This has gone on since the phone call from NF. They need to just stop having Nina interact with Carly if they can't get the point across that Nina is trying to come clean. Whether a fan of Carly and/or Nina or not, it's just too tiring to watch the same sort of dialogue end with Carly walking away because Nina can't spit it out. Also, Spencer and Trina are just too ridiculous. Trina turns down a chance for sexy time with Spencer because she has to run home to her mother and Curtis? In what universe would a young woman not take the time to have a quickie with her hot boyfriend before running home to her family, even on Christmas Eve? They should be at the point where they can't keep their hands off each other (like Joss and Dex). Have they only had sex the one time in NY? Please.

I can't explain it. I have no idea why some are saying that Nikki was faking her drinking. But I read it in more than one other forum.

Why do some think that Nikki wasn't really drunk at the cabin with Jordan? We have seen her drinking all the vodka. Just because she had a moment of clarity and smacked Jordan doesn't mean she hadn't been drinking alcohol, especially that bottle that Jordan gave to Nikki. Maybe Nikki was pretending to be as drunk as Jordan thought she was, but we know Nikki's been drinking the booze. I read on another site that some think Nikki has been faking the vodka-drinking all this time. I don't think that at all.

Did I hear correctly that Gianni has a fake eye? And Chanel didn't already know this from the time they were married before? WTFrack? It's kinda like Phillip's fake leg. I'm not a long-time viewer and I had no idea about these things.

I really think that before now, Aidan was too young for them to be PC enough to discuss it. It was kind of being insinuated back then. Aidan started being featured as a fantastic baker when he was in Charlotte's 4th grade class, which would have made them about 10 years old. No need to have brought this up that many years ago. JMO

I would like to see the brothers interact with this news as well. But yes, there needs to be a Cam. In fact, I bet if this gets discussed as a family with Liz and her boys, that the brothers were already fully aware that Aidan was gay. Siblings just know sometimes.

Having lived around Mt. St. Helens my whole life, and lived through its many eruptions (the Big One May 18, 1980), the explanation that a soap character "fell into a volcano" seemed perfectly normal to me. LOL 🤣

Legit question: If you had a prominent mole on your face, would you have it removed? I know I would. I understand the old-fashioned beauty marks that many people have. But to me that is usually a bit away from the lip line or more on a cheek. If I had a mole touching my lip or directly under my nostril, I would surely check into having it removed. Especially if I were an actress. Your thoughts?

I'm thinking TJ gets Kristina pregnant the old-fashioned way, instead of waiting 6 more months to go the insemination route. Is that what they are leading toward? Would they all agree for that to happen?

The worst characters that spring to mind for me are the horrible Gwen/now Teresa characters. Gwen has been front and center since she showed up as Jack's kid. And now this gawd-awful Teresa rendition. Is the actress best friends with the writer or something? I don't enjoy her. She is followed closely by Kristen/Susan, Stephanie and that train wreck that is Jada's sister. I almost forgot Sarah. She maybe should be at the top of the list as well. I agree with your Konstantin and Alex too.

Omg, Summer and Chance are the next big thing! They are adorable when they interact. Chance was totally flirting with her and then asked her to fill in at a concert of an artist they both love. Soapy goodness coming up! Seems they are going to have Sharon be too busy to continue with the storeroom sex she had with Chance. I was glad Sharon got to get a little sex out of it since it had been a whole year since Rey died. But Sharon and Chance are going nowhere. Chance and Summer is where it's at!
