Beachstorm

Nice to see Lauren involved with Nikki and Jack for a change. But my God, why dress her like that? I know, at least her cleavage wasn't hanging out up in our faces. But that blouse/sweater sort of made her look like a couple of cantaloupes, or sacks of sand hanging from her chest. It was very distracting. And ITA with @dragonflies above, end this Danny crap. Get rid of Cricket. And send Nina off with them as well. I hate the way they are writing my girl Phyllis. Maybe MS enjoys playing this outrageous character all the time, but it is SO tiresome to watch her constantly look like a loser now.

It's just so trampy every time Sally and Adam run into Nick. She's right back in the other brother's bed. It was the same every time Adam used to run into Sally with Nick. All I see is a bed hopper with Sally. They have ruined her and I wish she would go away. Not even back to BB, just be gone. Can't she wear anything other than animal prints? Geez. The brothers are also just as sleezy when they meet up (when Sally is there). It's like Adam has the sex grin now and Nick has the smug grimace of knowing exactly what Adam is getting when he hops in the sack with Sally. It grosses me out.

I'm behind as I have been in a power outage for days on the Oregon coast due to this latest storm. That's why I'm "Beachstorm". lol Started watching yesterday's show and I can't even believe what Sharon is wearing. WTF? She looks like she's from Caesar's Palace or at a toga party. Good grief. And the boob spillage was not at all attractive. Then my electricity went out again a couple of hours ago so I am now on generator power for the time being. Oy.

I'm betting all of this Dex being loyal to Sonny by making a killing is just leading straight up to Jason coming back. Dex needs to take a seat soon in order for whatever version of Stone Cold is returning. That was my immediate thought today when Dex struggled with the decision to be loyal to Sonny's orders to kill. If Dex is to remain the love of Joss' life, then he won't participate in this Cyrus killing. Something else will come up (Nina, possibly?). Welcome home (soon) Jason Morgan! Anyone else notice that the flowers on the restaurant tables in Port Charles were the same little green pom-pom flowers that were shown on the tables in Amsterdam? LOL

And both versions today had a couple of differences added to them. Most notably for me was in Tucker's version, they had the waiter shoot a look toward Tucker as the waiter walked out past their table. That was new because I specifically noted in prior versions that the waiter kept his back to the arguing couple and did nothing. I loved that Tucker emphasized that there were wait-staff and witnesses all around them. Good grief, how long are they going to play this out? Until ED/Ashley breaks down and leaves again? This argument in Paris is just so stupid now. Well, I guess I always thought it was going to be a stupid plot point, but come on. Enough ambiguity.

Does Victor even remember he has another daughter named Abby? Today he told Nick that Victoria is strong, she's a Newman. He said, "Victoria has Newman strength, as do you and Adam". Um, what about Abby? Does he not think she has the Newman strength? And the only thing worse than hearing him say "my baby" is when he holds up his clenched fist and says how strong they all are. We get it, he's a boxer. We know. And like Ranger1rg said above, EB knows perfectly well how annoying his saying "my baby" is to the viewing audience. I bet he insists on saying it as much as possible now (for outrage on social). It was practically the first thing he said on today's show when he left Nikki that voicemail.

Oh geez, so I should have said "go off of full time contract". Whatever. She implied that she didn't want to be full-time and was taking a long time off. They all make it sound like they won't be back, like when Kin Shriner tweets that "It's been a good run GH" when he's really just taking a vacation. Half his fans think he's leaving the show for good. rme The flashback Ashley had the cutest little dark brown beauty mark about an inch off her lip. I didn't ever notice it on her before. I had to look hard to even see any remnant of a beauty mark, and she barely has a small bump there. Did she have it removed, or did they over-emphasize it in the past? Did they put brown make-up on it to make it stand out back then? I will now admit that I am a little OCD about moles, aka beauty marks, on celebrities. And why, why, why do they insist on directing Sharon to talk so goofy to people? She sounds like she's drunk half the time, sing-song talking to Nick today, making goofy faces, opening her eyes really wide. She's done it a lot in the past too. Like her obvious disdain when she spoke to Adam in the recent past. I love Sharon but she bugs the crap outta me when she talks like that.

I mean, how many times has she retired? It was ridiculous the last time she retired because everyone knew she would be back. Just like everyone knows she'll be gone again whenever the mood strikes her. I love ED/Ashley, heck my Mom's name was Eileen, but we all know she will disappear again for months at a time, which seems to be her choice completely. They need to step this up between her and Tucker or remove her completely. The way it is now is not making her look good at all. Plus rumors are she will be having a mental breakdown again. So there ya go. Tucker and Audra have grown on me.

Two short flashbacks today of Bobbi with Carly. WTF? When Liz was speaking of Bobbi's influence on her, insert flashback of Liz and Bobbi. Nope. Lucy going on and on, Scotty going on and on about Bobbi, insert flashback. Nope. Traci and Bobbi? No. Sonny surely would get a flashback of himself with Bobbi, but no dice. Why didn't they do that? It makes no sense. Are ALL the flashbacks coming tomorrow? I doubt it. They've had almost a year to piece this together for JZ/Bobbi. As for SBu? Like he's been saying: he keeps getting the phone calls after 36 years in this business. I don't blame him one bit for taking whatever is being offered to him. He's a perfected soap character in his many incarnations. I missed most of his early years, so I'm not going to apologize for enjoying him now.

These two different versions of what happened in Paris between Ashley and Tucker are very tedious and tiring. This is their ambiguous writing style that I don't like. GH used to do it a lot too. I presume it will turn out that Tucker's version is correct since Ashley is said to be soon experiencing mental problems of some sort. She wouldn't go anywhere near Tucker if she were THAT afraid of him. Besides, the restaurant worker in the background didn't bat an eye or even look over toward their table when the two were arguing. I like it when, in Ashley's version, Tucker slugs down the rest of the wine and some spills out the side of his mouth down his chin. LOL And I love his shouting, "GO TO HELL!" in her face as he storms out. In his version, he knocks back the wine (no spill) and basically whispers to her to "go to hell" on his way out. Is it almost time for EDavidson to take some months off again (I hope)?

That doors scene harkened me back to the finale of a Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen episode where the winning chef steps through an unlocked door. It was cheesy, but I liked it.

What was with Stamos talking so fast it was hard to keep up? That business about his favorite time on GH when Sammy D. Jr. was on and they had some sort of jam session with Blackie on the drums. Why didn't they show that clip, I wonder? Stamos told everyone to go look it up on Youtube. Wow, really? Does he have some sort of rights to the scenes? (I highly doubt it). Can't figure that one out.

The interview I read was from a couple of years ago when JM/Nick and CH/Sally were interviewed together (at the beginning of the horrid Nick/Sally sex takeover). JoshM called "Sally" the hot chick that he wanted to have a s/l with. It was mentioned that he was done with any storyline that had him back paired with Sharon. It read quite insulting to SC/Sharon. I've never read anything negative from Sharon Case about any of her storylines. She seems more professional about things, and I bet she's been put through the ringer over the years. Not sure why folks think Sharon and Nick will get back together or be "end game". Seems like that ship has sailed, and I don't see anything other than friends with them in scenes. At this point it would be totally forced and we would all see that. There is no more romantic love between them at all.

And today we get CamMat in full Ryan Lavery mode. I cannot believe he has reverted to licking his lips every third line. Shades of WhisperSpit and Frankenstare. I heard he has a bigger gig coming up. It's not Hallmark, but something else maybe? Please let the Soap Gods remove this horrid "Drew" character once and for all.

Look, all I'm saying is that SBu DID speak more as Harris Michaels than he ever did as Jason. He confirmed he felt that way too. I don't have a printout of his scripts nor know every last miniscule dialogue he ever uttered as proof. Just that as a daily viewer, it is obvious he spoke more on Days. Sheesh.

No. Do you watch Days? I've never seen SBu speak so many lines as he has as Harris. Not even as Dylan McAvoy.

What the hell was that? I just finished the episode. At least I was pre-warned. All kinds of stupid. So much Billy and Phyllis. These two did look good together. I still remember when Gina was in the role boinking Billy everywhere. I often thought how they would NEVER have worked if it was still the late great Billy Miller and MStafford in those roles. But Michelle looks pretty dang good with Jason Thompson. And why everything is trying to point to Sharon and Nick getting back together, I'll never know. JM/Nick was quoted in an interview saying he never wanted Nick to be with Sharon ever again, so I don't see them happening. I don't want them to happen. All this talk must just be a distraction. Also, I see on other forums that people think Kyle and Abby will interfere with the possible Chance/Summer connection. What? No they won't. There would be NO reason for that to happen either.

Ya, that was way too much Stamos. SAS/Brick shouldn't even have been there. Wtf Kinda surprised they showed ER/Lulu in a clip. I liked that Julie actress better in the role. Loved the scenes with SD/Alan Q. I don't think they ever did a tribute to him after he died, did they?

Steve might be ready for a re-do on Jason. Although he said many times in his podcasts that Jason was the easiest role he has ever played, what with the lack of dialogue on his part. He went on to say he has never had so many lines as he did as Harris Michaels. So who knows. Maybe they will meet in the middle and have Stone Cold warm up a little. His tatt sleeve might be distracting for some, like it is for me.

Omg, I am so effing thrilled. I missed a lot of GH years so I have not got enough of stone cold. Bring him on! Love it!

I am a big fan of Sharon's, I really am. But her hair has gone from stick-straight to the most fakest curled extensions that I've ever seen. Sharon's are worse than Lauren's old ones, which thankfully she ditched a while back. The brown color is distracting, and her bits of natural hair really stand out now. Not a good look and I don't know why they think it is. (Is there a designated wardrobe/hair and make-up thread here? I didn't see one)

I liked it too Donna. Carly brought me right to the brink of tears, then they changed scenes which gave me a chance to compose myself. The whole time I compared it to the time when my own Mother died. So I didn't need to fall into that puddle (right now) and appreciated the continuation of the show. Bobbi's memorial should be a real tear-soaker. Sonny and Nina, blah. This isn't really that big of a deal when it comes to the life and secrets, lies, etc. of a mobster and/or his woman. He probably will respect Nina MORE now. Blech. I love me some Ava, but that hot pink and feathery sleeves was way too Mrs. Roper for me. I'd never think they could make her look dowdy, but... And I don't like this Nik either. PS: I had such a crush on Scotty back then. He's my type, and in fact I married a guy sorta like him. LOL

Abby actually addressed this the other day. Not the part about knowing what happened to her Newman side of the family, but she did acknowledge that they purposely leave her out of the loop of most things. Then she said she prefers it this way. That's good enough for me. The Heather actress needs to lose that mole. Every time they show her, it looks like a cold sore to me since it is practically on her lip. It must be hard to apply her perfect lip color. I get beauty marks, the Olivia actress on GH has a perfect one. But this one and the one under the other actress' nostril are completely distracting and if it were me, I would have them removed. Heck, even Sarah Jessica Parker had her famous chin mole removed.
