Damn those tweets are wild but so accurate. I was right all along.

It was the first time being held inside that theatre. Normally it’s outside but it was too hot last year. But it seemed to work better outside than it did inside lol hell even my boys with winter jackets appearing like Dan (EJ) and Stephen (Steve) yet they are freezing lmao

On the plane home after my whirlwind trip to Los Angeles. I had a mostly positive experience. I arrived at the theatre just after 6am and instantly saw Cardboard Li in the foyer. I was thrilled that he was set up as a photo op. More on him later. Around 945 Brandon Barash came by to say hello.
We were let in right around 10am. System was four tables and you lined in rows in the auditorium. I went right to Line 2 and as we were first there was no waiting. I met Paul and Linsey first and they were kind enough to sign a photo I brought and pose for photos. I got to put my arm around Paul so that happened. Next up were Josh and James. I found speaking to them surprisingly moving, maybe cause they are the age of my dad. Sal, Elia and Tina were all fabulous. Very happy to chat and really warm and friendly. Galen was a bit more reserved. Tina agrees with me that Melinda and EJ need to hook up.
Went to group 4 line as it was the shortest. All the newbies. Cherie was divine. I told her how much I enjoy her as Gabi and it seemed to mean a lot to her. Next to her was Al who was also super, thrilled to be a part of it all especially after airing in only one episode. Colton was another really fun one to talk to. He remembered me chatting to him on Twitter about Charlotte Ross and told me to tag him again. Casey was much quieter and didn't get much from him. Kennedy was very shy and I think a bit overwhelmed. Raven and Ashley were much more chatty and looked amazing. Leo Howard was really engaging too, very likable and interested in my insane one day trek from Eastern Canada.
After that we broke for lunch and the day players performed as we sat in the next line. On a bathroom break I ran into Julie Dove hanging out with Cardboard Li, so that was a photo I had to have. I think she was just there as a fan. She was pleased to hear how much I enjoyed the Li stuff.
Then the disorganization kicked in. We waited almost 3 hours for group 3. People were on stage and cutting into lines for other groups without waiting their turns. They extended the signing and we lucked out, we thought, as our line was called right before the final cut off. Then we were told we were going to group 4 again. Not happy. Most of the line just gave up and left but four of us stuck around hoping for a change of heart by security. I pointed out as it was only 4 of us that we should be able to join the line we'd waited 3 hours for and they relented. We were frog marched by security on stage (where were they when people were line hopping?).
Jackee had left by then and Brandon had to go rehearse but the rest were still being gracious and kind to the fans. Dan introduced himself with "Hello I'm Daniel" lol. I told him I'm a long time viewer since his Spartacus days. JP was next and he was happy to hear I enjoy his odd take on Philip. He said he's all about entertaining and he will take any reaction as long as he gets one. Lamon seemed worn out and didn't say much. Abigail was super pumped and her husband is from Montreal. Where my car currently is. I hope I can find it. Then Stephen and Susan. This is why I fought to stay in this line. I told him how much Steve and Kayla have meant to me and that he got me into this 40 year addiction. Susan was absolutely beautiful up close. All I could do was thank her for being such a treasure. Last up was Billy. I told him he must be exhausted and he was, but still made me do a selfie with him.
I'm sure the Q&A and promo are posted so won't cover those. Funny to see Emily toss that hated wig. Very excited to see what's coming up. No complaints about anything in the preview!
All in all a successful day. Yes it could have been better organized but for a free event it was great. I didn't even attempt table 1 because the Dee draw meant everyone surged there, but when I was leaving I saw Brandon Beemer and Rob leaving Starbucks.
That's a wrap. Going to sleep very well tonight!
Overall I had a great day too. I got to group 1 first especially because of Deidre and Martha, Judi etc.
If I would’ve known what would’ve happened I would’ve started with the newbies and then over to group 3 lolBut group 2-4 were the most seen by fans. Group 1 and 3 had the most trouble get on stage lol.

I agree, but I do think an image of Erica settled into a New York penthouse, occasionally modeling but mostly behind the scenes now, maybe with visits from her daughters and grandchildren, coyly telling us of her new romance (with a man we won't see [sorry to Jackson/Erica fans but I'd rather the guy stay unknown), would be a good farewell for her.
I was one of those people that loved Jackson/Erica but was glad he didn’t keep up with her bs lol

The line thing was a mess. We were waiting to finally made it to station 4 (with Leo, Ashley and them) and no one picked us up even though there were just 10 - 15..
But they kept sending people up from station 1-3 where they had like 30-40 people. That was such bs lol

I’m really interested in seeing where everything goes now for Holly/Tate/Sophia. It can go in so many different directions. I’m already looking forward to Tate and Holly’s scenes on Monday. I wonder if he’ll actually admit to everything.
Tate did look hot too. And so did Philip lol considering the first shot of today’s episode, I guess JPL is a crush as well 😉
Philip’s scene with Vivian was good too but they really shouldn’t be writing Philip as so campy. That’s not like Philip at all, and it could really mess up a storyline with massive potential. I like that he has some doubts about the plans and what it may mean for Sarah. Are we getting a hint of a Philip/Sarah/Xander triangle at some point in the future? Somehow weaving Stephanie/Alex/Chanel/Johnny/Joy could be good as well. And it would bring Alex back into the Kiriakis family storylines where he really should be. Him finding out about Philip and Stephanie’s relationship could be good.
And surprisingly, the Body&Soul related scenes weren’t bad today either, especially Kate/Chanel. I still say that the buildup to all of this could have been much better, in every way.
Tbh JPL‘s Phillip has been written as campy ever since he was on Days mid 2010‘s. That’s why i prefer Jay in that role. He can play both. Serious and campy.
JPL‘s take feels like Rex from OLTL with an Uber ego who lost his direction -

JG is clearly just recycling the same pattern he always pulls by temporarily shoring up black characters for a few months before purging the canvas back to the default of Lily, Devon and Nate (who inherited this last spot from Neil).
GH has the better amount of black characters but its very clear they see them all as secondary to their white counterparts in a way thats even more infuriating to watch than the other shows.
Its gonna be so great to have BTG and see black characters just be the focal point without all of the unnecessary bs.
I’m not black myself but a few black actresses and actors are on my top 10 lists and it’s hard to see so many get wasted.
BUT everytime I watched GH and their black characters I have to say that the actors are doing the best they can with the material given. But it always felt forced and like on Y&R - Winters Wednesdays or Tuesdays. I don’t know what it is but it ain’t flowing as natural compared to the other parts of the show which is such a shame. I do blame some fans for it too. They have really tried with Curtis etc. But the fans won’t even give them a chance.

Day of Days 2024 was amazing. There were a few bumps and started a bit of a mess for some lol
But they were really trying their best. I just hope they work something out if they do it again at the peacock theatre/ La Live.
I didn’t got to all stations but was lucky enough to meet over half of them on them. Station 4 and 1 kinda got screwed over. Station 1 in the morning round and station 4 in the last round. But overall they were doing their best and even reacted to the things that went wrong in the morning sessions.
I got to meet my legendary favorites Susan/Julie and Deidre/Marlena! That was all I wanted lol Gosh Susan is the kindest human being alive even under pressure to push the lines so everyone can come up. and Deidre signed my collectors book with the picture of Wayne and her as Roman and Marlena on their honeymoon. She smiled about the good old days. I love John and Marlena and always will but since I started the 1983 to 1984 episodes I really adored Roman and Marlena a bit more!
I told John Paul L. (Phillip) that I loved him on OLTL but that he’s not my Phillip. I liked the other one better.
Brandon and Martha were amazing! They really look like they could be married irl. Martha gets so much hate because people are still hung up on KS as Belle. I told her that I got to meet both belles now and that she is my favorite. She replied that I don’t have to choose and that I can switch channels if I wanted to see either one of them coz of KS being on GH!
Abigail (Stephanie) has such positive energy. Robert (Alex/Ben) got completely blocked by an elderly women in front of me. He tried to be on every picture with Deidre and the fans but that one elderly women didn’t even say hi to him and wanted that picture with her on her own and went straight to the next cast member instead of him. lol Not a favorite i assume.
I didn’t got a chance to meet Ashley and Leo but Ashley was on the side of the stage near the end and making pictures with two lady’s and I took my chance and went over. Was able to ger a good picture with her.
Wally was definitely sick. He looked very ill but still tried to be as nice as possibly. Poor guy had to be at a gig with the day players after this. I didn’t got a chance to meet BB (Stefan) coz he had to leave for that gig already. And I didn’t got to meet Eric (Brady) coz he went to lunch. I got screwed twice in my stations lolI never comment on anybody’s body but Paulina (forgot the actress name) looked absolutely fabulous and seemed like she lost a a lot of weight and I couldn’t believe how skinny she was. She looked so stunning

For a pretty long time I did not find Jack to be worthy of Jennifer Rose, so Emilio suited me.
I do get the feeling that a lot of people felt that same way and that’s why that story was popular. But Jack’s redemption arc was one of the best Days ever had. He worked for it to be worthy for Jennifer

like I said before it wasn’t that I really liked them. It was just the way some storylines ended with them. April’s character suffered from MTW’s exit as Mike. I remember that I did enjoyed the Mike/April storyline with the sick Nick thrown in to give them a hard time but in the end it was all for nothing. It was such a waste of time to root for them.
Emilio seemed like a Pete Jannings rip off. But he did had some good jokes. But his singing, dancing stuff was a bit too cringey here and there. He was likeable but for me he suffered because he was thrown into my favorite couple Jack/Jennifer and that’s why I had to hate him lol
Someone brought up the Melissa and Emilio storyline which I completely blocked out. It came back to me and with that storyline his character became so odd. It was so out of character and a such a character elimination. Hated that.

Danny Mac returns as Dodger after 10 years and it will be a permanently return. He started filming already and will be seen in January!
OK! That is a return I didn’t expected… BUT he will be involved with Sienna and her family which is not a good sign coz that storyline has been a flop already lol I bet he will be as wasted as Hannah Ashworth

Yeah.. it was around the time Deimos was there too. JP played Phillip like he was the playboy again and like he was on drugs. It’s not that I didn’t liked it but it was…. Different… too different for my liking and especially for victors son.
