I think most of the people here will ignore your comments since you are not important to them and clearly again looking for attention and arguments, since your last comment didn't get any oxygen. I understand you need to tell us Twice how we don't have lives and we are a bunch of complainers. How insightful of you!

But since I am way worse, Waaaay way worse, person than the people who will ignore you, I will give you some attention to keep you happy. So read this:

I prefer to be a complainer about a tv show, than an internet bully who harasses strangers on forums. It's not a good look.

P.S I agree that Lib Biberty is giving his all! 😂

Actually, YOU are a bully Althea. I don’t need or want attention. I call it as I see it. B&B is doing fine. Brad Bell is fine. The complainers who don’t watch the show constantly wish for cancellation of a show they don’t watch, yet comment about every episode. You do try to bully people. You will not bully me, Althea.

  2. Great to see a former GL cast member on the cover of TV Guide. Giancarlo Esposito played Clay Tynan for about 6 months from the end of 1982 until May of 1983. He didn’t have a huge storyline. I do remember him though. He must have been part of the Gail Kobe purge to bring in Texas people.

  3. GH is slowly improving. Still alot of work to do. Getting rid of Valentini would help but that doesn't seem to be on my instapal Nathan Varni's agenda.

Give Genie something to do! Get those young actors some acting lessons! Get rid of squeaky Trina. Get rid of Dex. I FF through Trina and Joss. Ugh.

Steve Burton is a welcome back great addition. He's killing his scenes. And he looks great. Those blue eyes. Yum.

Conversely, I've enjoyed the respite from constant plot-driven storytelling. There's been more insight into character motivations, greater interaction between previously siloed characters and scenes that last longer than 30 seconds. It's still not a great show by any means but I've found a fair amount to like about it.

Then again, I was weaned on Bill Bell's DAYS, when plot progression could take years. (Looking at you, Mike Horton.)

I respect all opinions. I just feel that Days is so boring and at its worst ever. Nothing happens. I get that it is the scab writers work. I want Ron Carlivati back. He doesn’t write boring episodes.

  5. Brad Bell has been the headwriter of a soap for the longest time in soap history. He doesn’t give a ‘f’ what fans want. Nor should he. Brad has been headwriter for 30 years!!!! He’s not going anywhere. The Bells own the show. Brad is doing what he wants. Good for him. He doesn’t bend to fans who don’t watch the show yet they comment on every episode.

  6. I find Days very dull. Trying to do my part by putting it on and do other things because they count the streams. I notice that Days is usually #9 on Peacock and many times not even in the Top 10. They used to be higher. Can’t wait until Ron Carlivati is back. At least the show is interesting when he’s writing Days.

  7. Thank you for including the women 18-49 and 25-54 total viewers. Wow! Pathetic numbers overall and the decline over the last few years is astounding. To think that CBS gave a 4 year renewal to Y&R to reach 289,000 women 25-54, the supposed target audience. There are 330 million people in the USA and 289,000 of women 25-54 watch Y&R. The press release for Y&R’s renewal stated 3.5 million daily viewers but it was unclear how they derived that number. It obviously included more than live plus same day. If it included all the platforms (delayed viewing, on demand, Paramount), that is not a significant increase from the live plus same day numbers.

Listen, I love Deidre Hall.  I'd be on the case if I thought she look ill or bad. She doesn't.  The lighting on days is worse than the lighting in my garage.  It makes young people look bad.  I don't expect a women nearly 80 to look fresh and young with lighting that amounts to a single ring light.

Difference of opinion. She’s looking more like her age. The bags under her eyes onscreen are new. The lighting must be different.

  9. Welcome to Elizabeth and Patrick! Hope that Frank stays out of the writing and lets the writers write. So far so good. I didn't care for Nathan Varni when he was overseeing GH for ABC a few years back due to his inexperience. I hope Nathan is more seasoned now and will keep Frank in line and not allow him to cast people in parking lots. And let the writers write!!!! That can't be said enough.
