  1. Hate to say it, but if the soap is performing in demos/ratings, I don't see TPTB stepping in to replace Josh Griffith in any of his positions.
  2. Wishing him the best while he battles such an unexpected, truly heinous disease. #FÜCKCANCER
  3. Good for him, but middle row, middle person...? Really? Ugh. That brings it all down. Although that name is thankfully not listed for Camino Real, so that's a sigh of relief. I may have to nab a ticket and head out to Williamstown. Piece from Wiliamstown Festival.
  4. Mm-hmm, he was a pinch-hitter in 2006 while Eric Martsolf was out on paternity leave.
  5. date: Wednesday, July 16, 2025 | Christoper Dunn, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Steven Williford MOMMA DUPREE IS HOME! It's about damn time, too, and looking fabulous!! Time to put your family back on track, momma! If looks could kill, Bradley's anger and hurt would absolutely destroy Deadbeat (which deserves to be destroyed). Ms Vanessa is using her wiles to get her way (as she should). But Joey, sir, you're in public... remember this. So, is Gordon the contact that Bradley got Kenny's information from? Or...? Well, Deadbeat is onto the question I had: is Kenny really, truly dead, or is it a staged photo to stop him from doing something as reckless as he's been this entire time? The spiral is coming... Joey telling Vanessa, maybe Deadbeat [finally] telling his husband (and children?). Let's see this happen! Good on Bradley for standing his ground where Deadbeat is concerned and for not allowing him to dismiss the children. They deserve to know as much as he does. Well, murder doesn't make Vanessa hot and bothered... just bothered. When Vernon's voice deepens, it means business... and it carries. Automated door openers... convenient for the lazy or hands-filled... but slower than dirt! So... that's it...? That's part of the beginning of the reveal? Interesting... so the attack was actually on Vernon predominantly, and Deadbeat defended him? Oh, okay... Oh, Vanessa is eating this up! But here comes Joey threatening, in less than a few words, to end Vanessa's life. Dani, mama, now is not the time to sulk back into the Country Club and tease Bill. So Ted got involved to fix Kenny's face... interesting. Poor Bradley... my heart is breaking for him. He's been lied to and put in immediate danger... he and his children. CALL HIM OUT! CALL DEADBEAT OUT ON HOW TRASH HE'S BEEN! Oooh... did Vanessa just put Joey on notice? I think she did. The icon that she is. Not going to lie, I kind of love this banter between Dani and Bill. It shows there is something still there. The look of horror on Anita's face says it all... this has been an unspoken burden and dark cloud in the Dupree family, and one that's about to explode. Oh, Bradley is not doubling down on Deadbeat's mistakes and secrets. Good on him. That's what I like seeing. Notes: Did we go from daytime/early dusk to flat-out nighttime? Whew.... chile. Glad the story is being told via flashbacks and not by just stating what happened. More gratifying this way. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) perfectly embodies her character. She dominates. Brandon Claybon (Martin) is not selling this as much as someone should... he does not seem shaken enough and feels like he's forcing himself to feel something. Mike Manning (Bradley), on the other hand, is OWNING these scenes. Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) have some fiery chemistry. No way they won't be put [back] together by the end of 2025, or the top of 2026.

  8. I agree; this story is so not dragged out at all.
  9. Visually, I could see it.
  10. date: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 | Teresa Zimmerman, Judy Tate | Michael V. Pomarico That introduction between Dani and Vanessa is so over the top... I love it! Yes, Queens! And yay for Vanessa finding properties! Oh Lord, Deadbeat is throwing a press conference? This is the LAST thing she should be doing. Tell your family what's been going on first, moron. BRADLEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! OMG! BE CAREFUL! At least Vernon had the sense to get to Deadbeat to try and stop the damage from being done... and he should listen to his grandfather because he's being way too irrational right now. I love the sibling bond between Samantha and Tyrell; you can tell they're really close and that Bradley did a fine job raising those two. Deadbeat, look at the hurt and tears in your grandfather's eyes... and you're going to go public with this? And not even tell your husband or children? Shame on you. SHAME! So, Bill and Joey seem closely associated, which makes me continue to question Joey... is he a two-timing gangster? A former cop? Still a cop doubling as a gangster? Like... I'm intrigued. Very intrigued. Oh, Bradley is down bad... he's lost his damn mind due to this. I love the dynamic between Jacob and Naomi and their ease of being able to talk with each other and understand each other. It's refreshing. YES! BRADLEY! KICK DEADBEAT'S ASS OUT OF YOUR HOME! YES!!!!!! THROW HIS CRAP OUTSIDE!!! YES!!! Samantha, no, don't allow Deadbeat back into the house. I loved that interaction between Vanessa and Vernon; I love her admitting she does not follow politics but that she'd sell an underground lair to Joey if she needed to, haha. We love a businesswoman. And her iciness to Bill? Yes! Cute back story Bill: very cute back story, and voila, here's Marcel, gun to Kenny's side... could he be doing what Randy refused to do? Not Joey using Vanessa for his image! Haha. That's hilarious. Look at Jacob hyping up Naomi... and this June mystery is getting deeper and deeper. Good job, Bradley, for standing up for yourself and your children. THAT is what a parent does. Well, bye-bye, Kenny... right? Or is it a staged image to buy them some more time? Because I didn't see a speck of blood in that dead grass area! Notes: I love the new wig on Arielle Prepetit (Naomi); however, it does feel a bit... flat, no? Perhaps some baby hairs would make it more of a seamless look? The scenes between Mike Manning (Bradley) and Jason Vendryes (Stranger/Kenny) feel quite... pasted in. Very quick and to the point.

  13. 💯 It's a lovely friendship to see; plus, it unites them as Dupree family spouses, so they share that bond of knowing what it's like to be the 'outsider' in the family's orbit. I'm beginning to have the same feeling; she claims he beat her, but I do think it [might] be the other way around.
  14. No; I genuinely believe Martin to be a deadbeat, hence why I refer to him as "Deadbeat". It's an absent parent and a horrible excuse of a husband. I, unlike some, can disconnect actor from character.
  15. I try and not directly respond to you (for obvious reasons), but I trust the showrunners. It's you and your ideas I don't.
  16. We don't need a subpar actor from one soap coming here... let's do better.
  17. Very rough since day one; he had a few glimmering moments here and there, but it's been bad. Very bad. And right now, to be the lead in a storyline... it's a choice. Wish he'd been recast prior to this.
  18. date: Monday, July 14, 2025 | Sara A. Bibel, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Deadbeat, Deadbeat, Deadbeat... you know, if you were fücking honest (for once), your daughter would know to stay away from the White man stalking you. But no, you keep your deadbeat mouth shut. Ooh, Vernon does not like being summoned, especially by the likes of Bill Hamilton, but you both have some messy mess to clean up. Allison, baby, you are stalking Chelsea, and it shows in both her and Madison's reaction. You are giving 'unhinged former lover' syndrome, and it's not cute. Maybe you are the one who beats on Craig? Not the other way around. Black skin? Sir, your racism is showing in public. Might want to watch it. But Deadbeat, I wouldn't even listen to you with your ignorant, deadbeat-like ass. Be honest for once in your damn life. Good on Bradley for standing his damn ground; it's about time he did it. Show your 'partner' you mean business. Not Ashley alluding to things concerning the child bride while she sits at the nearby table. NO BRADLEY GIVE THE DAMN ULTIMATUM! DON'T BUCKLE NOW! Leave his dumb ass. You, your children... you both deserve better than a deadbeat, secret-keeping liar. Bill versus Vernon is interesting; I wonder if it'd be this volatile if Bill were still married to Dani at this point. THat makes me wonder. Here's Bradley, cleaning up the mess once again... this poor man deserves some damn love and support, which he is not getting from the [!@#$%^&*] that's supposed to be his husband. I love Ashley icing out the child bride while also calling her out on the inconsistencies regarding cravings during pregnancy. Do it, Ashley!!! Do it up!!!! Poor Vernon looked and sounded like he was going to cry leaving Anita that voicemail. The poor guy just needs his wife back. For once I am on Bill's side with this one. Awe, the five-finger word. That was too cute! I do like that Bradley and Jacob are friends and have that kind of relationship with each other. The spouses of the Dupree grandkids. "You planned the pregnancy." BOOM! Call her out, Ashley... if only the child bride was actually pregnant. ALLISON YOU ARE DERANGED!! Like, psychotic. Go away! Notes: We have entered into the era of 'fall preview' promo spots for primetime television. And nothing looks even remotely interesting. Both Najah Jackson (Samantha) and Mike Manning (Bradley) are carrying Brandon Claybon (Martin) through this storyline, and I can tell their backs are absolutely breaking. Manning and Jibre Hordges (Jacob) work so well off of each other. I'm sorry, but everyone at Uptown is getting the buffalo chicken, and I'm going to need it now, too!!!

  21. I agree; plus, they've finally figured out their production look (removal of green hues).
