Honestly the show should have done a time jump and started out with a blank slate to start fresh instead of picking right back up. I wonder what the ratings for Y&R will be though.

Keep us up to date! It figures with our school slowly reopening up Y&R would start airing new episodes the same day I go back into work, been the longest Spring Break ever.....I will! Pretty sure if it is the 10th cbs will put out a press release tommorow lr have MTS reveal it on the talk. Cbs did the same with bold. Announced a week before. And Stay safe! Must be nice to finally go back.

Not definite yet. But it has new listed beside each episode. They haven't done that.

The reveal of Ridge's marriage to Shauna will be a blow to Brooke. Ridge will take the commitment seriously, Shauna will want to make a go

Finn will be immediately taken with Steffy and will add to the dynamic with Steffy/Hope/Liam. Steffy has a big battle ahead.

Yeah, I'm curious about Y&R too. I think they may have an uphill battle to reclaim viewers unless they make drastic changes. But they clearly don't seem to think they have a problem. None of the soaps seem to realize the problems they have that we see on a daily basis.
They should have did primetime promos. I think the only thing they did for bold was those blowup dolls interviews

JG did an interview
when they shut down they had a month's worth of material written. Physical contact was taken out and scenes were adjusted so they could be blocked with social distancing. According to Josh the show will focus on emotions and it has lead to some intense scenes.
2. Apparently they've come back to work with a lot of new stories.
3. This one stood out to me. During the break, Sony, CBS and the writers came together in informal calls to drill in about characters, the canvas and identity of the show.
