Pretty much no one is coming back unless they’re watching online?. The sad thing is Days quality wise has been fairly solid the last couple months and got me watching again for the first time in years.

I wish NBC would release the app numbers. They claim Days is the number one show their.

I pretty much enjoyed all of Mike's alzheimer storyline, even if it took years to tell.  Mike's story involved a lot of the cast and there were some good emotional scenes.  It was nice to see Sonny be in a main storyline that wasn't focused on the mob - it was a family story.   And Max Gail was really good in this role. Another thing that was good was the background music - the three sad piano cues.  I thought it was handled a lot better than Y&R's alzheimer storyline.

Dinas story is about Jack searching for necklaces 💀

The dialogue is weak, dry, generic, and expository. If you’re not going to be telling grand stories or creating visual interest, at least make me laugh or something. Give me some rich character insights. I felt the same about Sussman’s stint. If you’re going to spin wheels, at least make add some razzle dazzle. DAYS (which isn’t fabulous by any means) currently does it far better than Y&R.

This regime is the exact copy of sussmans stint. 3 week arcs. Her may sweeps were about faiths permisson slip

Just about all of this was resolved when Hartley was in then role but I guess JG was so obsessed with dialing it back to 2013 he just overlooked it. The Kansas retcon was completely unnecessary and shows the inability of the writing staff to tell a new story for once. No wonder Y&R’s main pages have such negativity in the comment sections since returning.

Also its pretty much the only story. I love adam but everyone else is filler 😂

This entire story about Billy working with Alyssa to get revenge on Adam is completely unworkable and unwatchable.

i like it, But im sick of all things delia, Now billy wants revenge for her death and is gonna use this article to send him to prison. How many times has this same story happened involving him/billy/Chloe.

On AMC, Reggie Porter was originally played by Chadwick Boseman.  Reggie was originally written as a teen street kid. Chadwick asked "the powers that be" intelligent questions about the character, to see if Reggie had any talents or anything to make him more than a stereotype.  "The powers that be" listened and thanked him -- but they let him go after only three episodes.  Then the show revamped the role -- and recast it with Michael B. Jordan who was in the role for a few years.  Chadwick's comments caused AMC to make changes, which then positively impacted Michael B. Jordan.  The actors spoke about this; and this was discussed on a few other threads recently after Chadwick passed away.

The character Reggie Porter was later adopted by Jackson Montgomery and he took the Montgomery surname.  Jackson married  Erica Kane.  So then Reggie Montgomery became Erica's stepson, and a brother to Bianca,  Kendall, and Greenlee.

You're referring to Eli's father David being Julie's son, which makes Eli a part of the Horton family.

But Eli's mother Valerie has been a longtime character for ages.
Valerie was part of her own prominent black family -- the Grant family -- who were on the show many years ago.  A few different actresses have played Valerie through the years.  She had a brother and two parents and they had quite a storyline back in the day.

i saw Michael B Jordan mention AMC in his Chadwick tribute which was nice.
