Yes that was rather random how Kay just crossed over into the Brooks event in 1981, but i still find it interesting in a way because kay, Liz, Stuart probably known each other for years along with jennifer so i looked at it like it's just older folks linking up for a special occasion. I honestly think if there were scenes with Katherine and Vanessa that would have been explosive given the way both of them are, did Vanessa interact with any of the elders on the show?

Thank you kindly for putting these up, you basically have added more y&r histrionics to my head, i forgot brock and jill married omg i can't wait to read about how that went Your right there was a 1979 episode i was reading and it said Lorie went over to Kay's and they discussed jill and I think Derek at the time so i know if we go way back there had to have been some sort of other scene shared.

You know funny you say that, before reading i did hear some stuff about Lorie and Phillip but was never able to see proof that they interacted, but seeing this is gold I really wonder how long Lorie was apart of this triangle that would basically go on for decades. I wonder if there was any scenes of Kay confronting Lorie or having any conversation to find out more about jill/Phillip. As far as i know Lorie and Kay rarely interacted back then so im guessing this must have been one of some of there interactions if that happened.

The 1981 episode was done very neatly touching on some storylines that you might have read about but just didn't see the actual players involved in my opinion. That episode clearly was the last week for Vanessa cause not much long after that episode vanessa jumped. The barbara/april/Paul/and her parents story it showed dorothy(April's mom) questioning april about visiting barbara, also barbara had her bandages removed and had a deep conversation with her step dad i think. And can't forget nikki visiting the ranch for the first time and victor acting like a butler for a test, it was a good episode and the music just helped it tremendously.

Yes i found that odd why they never mentioned the other characters involved, lol it's not a big deal to mention the content better like who cares if new viewers don't know those characters but they can also get to know them something about them and judging from what i saw they were more interesting then half of the characters we have now. Tell me what excitement is coming from lola,abby, Billy, tessa,mariah,Devon,Alana, kyle summer even jack and rey or nick i could keep going but these new era story's aren't doing it at all I agree with 100% it does seem like the first decade is well forgotten and i understand time has gone by and they gotta create new memories but the ones right now is a memory I'd love to just forget because the show is boring even though ill tune in. Any material from other years we get we should be thankful also they could do it in better order but im still engaged.

I love your take on the 81 episode, i honestly wish we had more from that time on here. They dealt with real life stories the best in those days and your right the music cues helped a lot because it really draws you in to there emotion state. I always heard about the paul april Barbara story but the way people talked about it, it's like it was boring or one of the worst stories bell had put together, from the little i have seen i wouldn't say it's the worst at all. I wouldn't say one of his best work but the story would have me drawn way more then these 2020 stories currently.

Didnt Paul's brother steve originally leave because things didn't work with Peggy, and while he was gone she started another relationship which i think is greg and then she left shortly to go catch up with steve? If someone can fill in the blanks i forgot and if so wouldn't mean they would still be together lol

Lol yes she did creep me out when i first saw her and i wasn't even alive when she was on the show either but damn what a character she was, it seems like Lorie is the only one who ever knew how evil that women truly was cause both lance and Lucas didn't realize until very late

I wonder why Vanessa didn't like Lucas dating casey of all people or maybe she knows of the incident with nikki killing her father lol i have no clue. Seems like that jones guy got test with a few women on the show, he was first tried with leslie then i hear casey and i swear in one episode him and nikki kissed i wonder what time span all of this happened? With all those random hook ups i guess you can add in Paul's brother i forgot his name but did he date Peggy and wasn't jill with him to and also Peggy and jack

She was from any scenes I've seen her on she does such an amazing stellar performance and you can take her acting seriously a lot of performances aren't taken as such. Your right victor and nikki were the boring part of this episode but became soo popular years to come and til this day i guess lol

I have read up on this couple in the late 7p's to early 80's stuff and Casey had a few scenes with vanessa, i wonder what direction they were trying to take them or if it was a filler at the time until leslie was available for Lucas again

She was pretty spooky and intimidating character, she almost more frightening then Sheila but probably a different kind of David Kimble. Theres also a episode i think more in the 70's when she tried to shoot Lorie but ended up shooting lance, that would be amazing to see Victor and nikki scenes were okay just to get the viewers interested in something else that was new at that time so they fit in quite well, i wish we can see more 1981

Im happy they didn't cut anything out, they need to show viewers that even though it wasn't y&r best storyline talked about at least the actors in those scenes made it work. The overall performance from everyone today beat basically 10 or more years of the show's acting in my opinion

Did you see the episode yet because i just watched it and holy [!@#$%^&*] that kept me glued, every scene had a great purpose for whatever was going on back then it was really good and of course im happy i got to see Vanessa she basically stole the show I loved the scene near the end when Vanessa was sitting on the couch trying to pay of the fact that she's ill and she hates Lorie and lance is just standing there completely clueless, this is much better then anything going on in the last 10 or more years of the show

Hey incase yall haven't heard yet along with the classic episodes that are being aired because of this corona virus, i heard the week of may 4 they will be airing an episode from October 31 1981. Apparently it's the first time nikki goes to the ranch with victor so that should be interesting stuff and because it's 1981 lol Another thing is I wonder who else will be in that episode as well, we might see some Brooks or prentiss gang in this episode or some early Danny romalotti and Andy with the Williams clan or maybe im hoping we see some Vanessa or maybe she was gone by then if anyone know? Most of the videos on this channel ive seen have been some rare good stuff, ive some a couple from the 70's and early 80's from here i wonder if there is anymore

Me and you both, i wonder if we will ever get 70's material I would love to binge watch them like there new lol, I've seen a lot of Stuart but I've hardly seen Jennifer's material i wonder if she was like Liz or katherine. Also the show did good with adding in the prentiss family with the wicked vanessa, she didn't play around either and she played her part well in convincing you that she's not as evil as she really was Oh really i never knew days fired her a couple times I always thought she was those long characters that just always remains with the show i mean her character has practically done it all lol I wonder how long she stayed on y&r in those early years and if her character was interesting during her stay. I think jill would be the only one who would know her but then again did her and jill even interact in those days cause I've never heard of jill and even Brad crossing paths

Yea your right a full week or 2 of the first month it was on would give you more insight into how the storylines all formed, i would love to see jill first episode and katherine, Laurie and also I'd love to see how Deirdre Hall was i forget she was once apart of this show

Oh i never knew that or if i did i probably forgot about that, well that could make sense i wonder what they had a falling out for if you search on Google it says they both attended some event in 2012 for y&r so i guess that's the latest of hearing them around each other and casey hasn't appeared since 1998 22 years already damn

Im surprised they never brought her back on many occasions, even for nikki problem is already enough but what about Katherine funeral and the 45th anniversary and victors 40th if they could Julia and almost have Lorie Brooks in the building then why not her she would have known all those people before nikki ever did lol

Last year when melody celebrated her 40 year mark with the show, she also said some of the scenes aired were some that haven't e en been seen since it aired and it was in good condition, lol im sop annoyed because there is lots of material from those early years that could be shown and nobody has been able to get a look at them

Yes thank you I've been saying this from time they need to show the viewers what the show was really like for some of the long time actors that have been on for decades and there beginning storys, i would love to see episodes of jill/Katherine/Phillip saga up until his death and after and milk is first days and victors and even some Brooks and prentiss drama. How was Eve as Stuart's maid? Im sure she was so nice and kind until like 1982 was it i think I love the 90's classics but i think most fans are caught up woth that era of the show but what would really be a treat is to show some 70's to early 80's classics because most of the most of the stories that we talk about now come from those years so why not go way back plus the show was written perfectly

Seeing Casey today would be sort of interesting because she has long history with the show just as much as nikki does, viewers probably forgot that because nikki became the real focus along the way but Casey could at least visit her sister like she always use to back then
