So this is apparently from September 1981, I was shocked to read Victor basically good timing stopped Vanessa from killing Lorie again

Also reading these I never knew John Abbott met Victor himself to ask if Julia could be featured with jabot modeling. jack wasn't even apart of Victor's orbit at that time until years later and even that I have no clue, I'm guessing like 85 the earliest or I could be wrong.

Hey I'm sure most of you remember at Nikki and Victor's wedding in 1984 they had Lorie brooks talking to Ashley abbott and they were supposed to meet up I even think that could have been a next storyline. Plus the fact that even that night Lorie danced with Marc mergeron I think there could have been a good plot to that twist if they had duggged deeper I wonder why they even made those interactions because you know y&r once you see someone who never usually interacts with each, there usually is some potential for a story but bell always loved being a teaser for basically nothing to come out of it.

Interesting I only read about them meeting at Jack and Patty's wedding and it seemed like there was a hint that they might be tested for a pair but I've never heard of Paul/Ashley interacting like that

There was another scene in 2011 when Nina and Nikki were both staying at Katherine house and when Paul came to see Nina I think Nikki walked down the stairs but we should all assume that they interacted okay with each other cause they were both living at Kay's I loved when Nina slapped Phyllis back in 2012, they needed to show Phyllis that she ain't the only bad girl that can throw down

I would love to see those scenes one day, and Nina had some great stories on the show back then. I wonder why they brought back for a few years then just took her off because Paul chose Christine I noticed that to about the show I mean it's interesting and leaves alot of story telling but I wonder if this was done on purpose, I find it funny if certain characters never interacted they always make it seem like those characters know each other yet you would never see them share one scene lol classic bill bell

Speaking of cricket and the abbotts wasn't Christine a friend of Traci back in 1983 or 1984 when Traci overdosed on weight loss pills, I've always wondered if they were friends back then. It's funny I noticed Nina in all the years she was on never had interactions with other main leaders of the show other then Katherine/Jill but never have I seen her interact with Victor,Nikki,Sharon,Nick the Abbot's

Oh really I never knew Vanessa was that old, I always use to put here in same age category as like Katherine,Jennifer,john,dina,Liz but I can see they were Abit younger then her. I guess the pairing wouldn't have even discovered itself but John and flo that would be interesting and Nina interacting with the abbotts lol something you never see

Hey everyone this board gets dead sometimes but I wanted to throw another scenario out there what if they did a pairing back in the early 80's with John Abbot and Vanessa Prentiss? I wonder how that would have went or maybe not what do you guys think would Vanessa have been too old for John since he did like his younger women Plus it would have gave some type of interactions between both families, even going further there could have been company competition Prentiss industries vs jabot cosmetics.

Nikki looked really good in that clip, for some reason when I see old clips of Nikki I like how she looked from the mid 80's to 90's but she still looks very good to this day, she will always have that soft sweet voice and that baby face

Hey everyone just wanted to touch up on something that was posted a few conversations back, I think it was after the 1975 and 1978 episodes were posted someone said they found some copies of 1983. Just wanted to follow up hopefully we still get to see them I guess 1983 was basically the new revived beginning for y&r because we all know that was coming from the transition period.

Lol your Soo right they would throw the whole family under the bus that we will all wish they just left the story in it's current state because that would be disappointing and pointless. I wonder how Mary would have reacted to the fact that Paul and Nikki had Dylan, I'm pretty sure Mary didn't like Nikki back then either

I wonder if the writers will ever revisit Paul's family history because as far as I know it has been kept in the dark for a while so they would really have to invest in a real sorted out storyline for that. They still til this day never had a send off for Mary or a episode where Paul is dealing with his mom's passing or them developing some material for it, but there quick to bring Patty back and make her kill people for no reason Well I don't mean in the beginning, I more mean later on because you would see Katherine interacting with Nina and Christine so I would say they have gotten pass the ugly stage they were at

Oh really I need to see that episode and hopefully the charity event they did was seen on screen but oh well what can you do, I guess it's not farfetched that they never spoke considering Katherine interacted with alot but then again didn't cross paths with alot to And it's not like Katherine was close with any of the other Williams clan I think it would only be Paul, heck she rarely ever interacted with the brooks or Prentiss and they were all on the show together for years lol

I forgot that had happened, but them waving at each other was clearly a sign that they don't know each other that well but if they happen to occasionally run into each other at events they will say to one another

Funny how we talk about Liz,Katherine Vanessa ,Jennifer or even dina. I wonder if Mary was close with any of these ladies I'm surprised I never seen a scene with Katherine and Mary together or Mary and Liz Most of the parents I noticed didn't Interact with each back then

Yea your right the Williams family didn't get that long stretch of time for us to really know them as a whole, i wonder why bell didn't invest in there family Dynamics for too long but at least he kept Paul and Mary and I heard that she was asked to come back many time but her health wasn't too good Soo sad 😥 wish they could brought her back at least once before she passed away, and the fact that they never brought back Steve for the Patty of today is just not right. Also and the whole Victor bringing her back for revenge on Jack thing was Soo pointless, it never made sense why all of a sudden out of all the years he could have done that he just out of the blue bring Patty back smh they just did this as a prop to put more beef between him and Jack.

Wow never knew they even thought about her in the 90's, especially after Soo much years of not hearing a word about her. Her and Traci have some damaging/no coming back type relationship, I always forget that Patty has killed 2 of her kids that's crazy how we never seen Traci in rage over just thinking about Patty williams.plus what did Traci ever do to Patty back then I swear they friends at one point if anyone remembers. I think Patty should have gone after Diane because I swear Diane was mean to party if I'm correct, I thought when Diane died that they would have just made it be Patty who killed her because there history goes well with why Diane would have met her demise!! But no instead they made be Nikki

Exactly what you just wrote they could have done Soo much with that quick history coming back tto town but as usual they waste the interactions on [!@#$%^&*] nobody cared about, I mean don't get me wrong what they argued about is a old storylines from the late 70's but they could have touched base on Soo much other storylines from the past and bring sort of update I have no clue when they will ever decide to bring the brooks girls back but I still think there is Soo much story with them and complex stuff that the show shoved away
