  1. I thought you wanted Stacey gone? Of course, Lacey and Tiana opted to leave on their own.
  2. I'm happy there at least seems to be some investment in Darren again. They could easily get rid of him and it wouldn't make a difference, but for a while now they haven't even been trying with the character. I think Charlie Hawkins is a great comedic actor and underrated in general.
  3. I wonder how they'll write Lauren off with all of her family still on the show. Surely, they won't kill off another one of Max's kids so soon...
  4. Ben and Lauren are being written OUT. I really liked Maddy and Lauren, but I guess it's better off Ben leaves before they humiliate him even more.... http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a218856/two-more-to-leave-eastenders.html
  5. Well, Mercedes just won some points with me by beating Cheryl's ass down...
  6. They might as well, with Chelsea and Libby gone soon. If she stayed, she probably wouldn't be written for anyway.
  7. But Zsa Zsa in considered in their teen set, there's hardly any early or mid 20's actresses/characters with Stacey leaving, Chelsea leaving, Amira gone, and Dawn gone.
  8. Probably for the best... I wish they'd bring Shabnam back and write for her. The show is going to need more females in their 20's soon...

  10. I have to admit, I had a good laugh when Masood kicked Zainab's ass out of the house onto the pouring rain. Though, Nitin and Nina were fantastic as usual. Oh Peter, you can do much better than Zsa Zsa... Syed's back....
  11. Texas sounds like Allan's final character, ugh. I hope India and her sister are killed...
  12. Soon, within the month of May. Probably within the next 2-3 weeks.
  13. The Jane/Ian conversation happened, but everything else in that scenario didn't happen. The Ben/Louise/Abi/Jordan/Zsa Zsa stuff didn't happen at all.
  14. I can understand why Masood walked away, in his mind, Christian was partly responsible for the destruction of his family, and the hate had to be building up inside of him to the point where he'd have no sympathy for Christian, no matter the circumstances. If I thought someone brought "shame" to my family and indirectly or directly led to to serious family troubles, I'd probably do what Masood did when he walked away.
  15. Yeah, I did like when she went off on Zainab and Masood, even though I hate Christian. I also liked the Ronnie and Shirley scenes on Friday. Jane ratting out Zainab was pretty good, too. The teens and Becca? The less said, the better.
  16. I know many on DigitalSpy hate the writing for Ryan and don't think he's been written to his potential, or with what Gavin Blyth promised when he cast the role with Sutton.
  17. Sarah McLachlan - Building A Mystery <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
  18. If I were Masood, I'd walk away too. I can completely understand why he did it, even if I'm not a homophobe.
  19. If you're going to pick it back up, May/June would be a good time, since it will mark the start of Bryan Kirkwood's tenure as EP. The show right now feels like an endless retread, nothing really major happening, but very flat in some cases. There's a lot of potential, and the Masood's as a family unit are a riot, but they can also play heavy drama, as evident by the past two weeks or so. There's some problems with pacing of stories, and a lot of the teens on this show are played by some laughable actors and they've been a little overexposed lately. I guess we'll have to wait and see how the new regime works out for the show, so far Zoe Lucker has been cast as a new love interest for Max, and Kat and Alfie are on their way back towards the end of the year. A ton of characters are being written out, Charlie, Peggy, and Stacey included.
  20. They'll need more female characters in their 20's, with Stacey, Chelsea, Dawn, and Amira all gone or leaving soon.
  21. The baby could also die at birth or Stacey could lose it, and then decide to leave town to "heal" and Jean follows... Should be interesting to see what they have planned.
  22. I have a feeling they might be dumping a lot of the teen characters in the future, especially with their contracts come up. Santer and Yorke just forced them on the show, they'll have to admit soon they don't work. I only really see Zsa Zsa, of the E20 set, lasting. Devon Anderson is hinting he may be out on Twitter, who knows, but it would be well with me. Maybe then they can loosen up Whitney and define that character better. But, from what we've been told so far, it seems like the Kirkwood era is going to focus mostly on older characters, or at least the people he's cast so far.
  23. I thought with the abortion, self-destructiveness, and misery they're planning on having Lucy as the next Stacey-type. Kat and Alfie should be running The Vic, with Peggy gone. I just cannot see people wanting to go there if Roxy is the only one running it.
  24. I wonder how they'll transition the show. Stacey was their lead female characters, for all intents and purposes, over the past 4 years or so. She ate up so much story that it ended up being detrimental to the character. What will happen to her baby? Will Ryan even know? I also wonder about Lacey, she's talented, but will anyone care about that? It's telling that they're leaving the door "open" for her. Lacey was probably the most lauded and talked about actress on British soaps over the past couple of years, even with her shyness from the press. I have to wonder if they plan on bringing back more of the Slater sisters?
  25. I don't think Samantha is going anywhere, they seem to love Ronnie (even if it doesn't show), and Sam seems happy to be there. Plus, at her age, the options aren't many. I wonder how they'll write Stacey out. I hope she gets to interact with Kat before she departs. Also, I can't see them keeping Becca now.
