  1. All good.
  2. I am a pragmatist. I am just determined with what I see.
  3. Not by very much, and a ton of the total coming in for PA is going to favor Biden. Trump's lead is rapidly dropping.
  4. He's not losing it at nearly the same rate as Hillary, which is a net positive for his results across the state.
  5. From the NYT liveblog:
  6. If AP, Fox and I have all clowned ourselves for nearly 24 hours I will wear my nose and rainbow wig with no shame. But I don't think it'll happen. Also, re: AZ and PA - From the NYT liveblog:
  7. Word. Speaking of Maggie, she has a long piece out claiming this election proves Trump will remain an active force in the party. I don't believe it for a second. He doesn't give two fúcks about the GOP. He's looking to make money, stroke his ego and do as little as possible. He has no stamina, no work ethic and has barely been interested in playing president. Playing kingmaker in a party he stepped into for an ego boost is beyond him. He'll try to build a media network or something (it'll fall apart) and that's it. He'll fade away sooner than people think. But this piece just reads like Maggie and co. auditioning to keep their jobs as Trump Whisperers.
  8. No, we didn't. Moral victories mean absolutely nothing to me after 2016. Not after I saw those families in cages or those fuckíng Nazis and their torches. Not after they shot up the synagogue minutes from my grandparents' family home. This is a bloodsport now. Winning is the only calculus that matters. We can worry about the soul of the nation after we slit the beast's throat. Amanda Marcotte's piece posted a page or two back discusses this. The answer is: You simply outwork them. They have always been here and they will still be here. You outwork them, pick off the more laissez-faire ignorant/swing voters that learn to change (and there are plenty lazy, uncommitted, more casually racist white voters IMO who once voted for Obama then swung to Trump after feeling uncomfortable for eight years), and electorally wipe out the ones that don't. Then wait for time and tide to sweep them away. That is something Biden/Harris can do one day at a time.
  9. I shall savor this.
  10. Despair:
  11. Told you: That won't go anywhere either. Here's why. He's referring to a margin that previously favored Trump.
  12. The AP and Fox both called it, and both are very reputable. Many of the networks are notoriously anal-retentive and cautious. Fox's one saving grace is a very strong independent numbers unit. Many of the TV outlets are also very regularly behind the actual results. Last night they ran between 10 mins to literal hours late on stuff we had confirmed online long before. That's the reality of online media and polling today. Things have changed. You want to worry about it, go for it. You don't need to. Meanwhile: Georgia may wrap tonight.
  13. Again: Their numbers outfit is independent of the news division. In 2012, Karl Rove threw a fit when they called Ohio for Obama and attacked them live on air. Last night, the anchors demanded an explanation from them live on air. Their rep defended their call and has stood by it ever since. But whatever, don't believe me, google it.
  14. Fox is surprisingly a very reputable polling outfit. Their numbers people are independent.
  15. I believe in a man named Mondaire.
  16. Biden/Harris making more power moves.
  17. Brought to you by Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and the good people at Bly Manor:
  18. Fox called Arizona last night. Michigan is also called by multiple outlets and networks. I'd move on with your life. Meanwhile, a good piece: Excerpt:
