  1. Jesus Christ:

Sarah Sanders is her usual graceful self:

  2. Coppola, Jeff Goldblum and Grace Jones? I'm going to this one, I have to. Just wish I hadn't missed Sheryl Lee. (Nice to see Amber Tamblyn there too)

  3. Wow:

Wanted to add - props to Gayle King and CBS for going out there on a show where they know people are watching.

  4. Obama's immigration policy left a lot to be desired, but that administration genuinely cared about the impact and effect of what they did. Not so much here.

  5. He was a magnetic force even in his sadly truncated return. I loved what they were doing with Den Sr., Dennis and Sharon at that time, pushing them and phasing out Phil. It's sad how his life ended up, apparently several suicide attempts.

I'd forgotten Louise Jameson from Doctor Who was one of the first to urge him to get into acting when she was visiting prisons and he was still serving time.

  6. LOL! It's cursed.

Season 1 was okay with a great cast, but a pale shadow of what it could've been. There was a lot of mediocre network TV episodic stuff. And they wasted no time pushing out the huge talents Fuller had hired (Nicholas Meyer, etc.) after the first couple episodes, and those two replacement showrunners weren't very good - and now apparently PR nightmares.

For all his eccentricities and recklessness with budget they should've left Fuller alone. Maybe he'd have flown the coop anyway, but we'll never know - and the incredible writers and directors he had in place were far above anything that aired in Season 1. Further, Alex Kurtzman is a massive hack. I guess I'll keep watching it out of my love for the franchise and cast, but after the silly finale bringing in the Enterprise I am not expecting a lot.

  7. Oh wow:

  8. I saw that. Her and Sessions invoking the Bible to defend their detention centers and taking the children from their families. God (or whatever any of us believe in, myself included, and I'm an agnostic at best) will judge Sarah Sanders, and deep down she knows it. She sickens me.

  9. Radar is generally not a great source, no, but the more granular details looked legit to me. If it's wrong I'll retract. I wouldn't have touched it if Vulture hadn't reprinted it, as for all their faults they do not tend to slavishly reprint from RadarOnline.

  10. From the above:

    Quote

Does he have any movie projects or more TV projects lined up?

“I don’t. I have a box of ideas, and I’m working with producer Sabrina Sutherland, kind of trying to go through and see if there’s any gold in those boxes.”

Has he finished forever with the world of Twin Peaks?

“Well, for right now, you could say I don’t want to talk about that,” he says flatly.

Could Agent Cooper return to solve another Blue Rose mystery?

“If I don’t want to talk about it, I can’t even answer that.”

    Meanwhile:
