  1. I don't know if anyone will be able to see this, but here is a document that has brief episode descriptions for almost every episode 1986-1995! they are in French so you are gonna have to use google translate etc....

    file:///C:/Users/thetats090190/Downloads/R%C3%A9sum%C3%A9s%20Magazines%20TV.pdf

It's got some dates missing and some that are off but it's still a good reference to use!

It doesn't work for me, but you could maybe upload it to speedyshare?

  2. It's not. Michael was redeemed over the course of about eight--eight!--years. It was slow, honest, and well-done. There's nothing jarring about it because we saw him change and evolve--until the horrible writing and character getting thrown out the window.

Kevin, on the other hand... ph34r.png

Agreed. And we occasionally see the rage that bubbles under, like during the Carmine story. Having him be the DA was too much, of course.

The thing about Kevin isn't even that he stopped being a criminal, but how they write him as an overgrown teenager who's into his fanfics and eats cereal with chocolate milk. Totally harmless. That's weird.

  3. Not being entirely black and white is really truly what made the Katherine/Jill rivalry over the years so great. Jill was a prideful, selfish vixen while Katherine was a wicked, bitter old hag. They both were wrong but believed they were right. Whoever anointed Katherine sainthood(I think it was either Latham or MAB) had a very horrible misunderstanding of who Katherine really was.

    *nod*

Yeah, it was wrong for Jill to sleep with a married man, but how could Kay consider her a "homewrecker" when Kay was screwing her stableboys and Phillip was disgusted by her smoking and drinking? The marriage was already dead.

  4. That's hilariously clueless of her.... what about when Cricket was being pursued by Chase, Scott, Danny, and Phillip all at once?

Any chance you could scan some of that SOD, or at least point out more tidbits like that?

  5. she also has that other channel were those 3 December 2001 Y&R episodes are still up...

Do you have a link to her second channel?

I googled that company and it looks like it's a UK company that the networks can hire to scour the internet for links and re-uploads of their stuff. I almost think we shouldn't put the name of it here, in case the company googles itself and finds this place.

That's really mind-boggling... that they would PAY a company to go get this stuff deleted, even though they aren't losing money whatsoever by it being up there, since there is no legal way to purchase the episodes, and the episodes posted are all likely much older than anything being broadcast internationally. I just wish it were because CBS plans to release all the episodes either on DVD, streaming, or on Retro TV or something like that... I'd gladly pay to see all the old stuff.. but of course, that isn't happening.

Did anyone contact Marie to invite her here? I think I mentioned it to her months ago, but she seems really busy and the youtube message system is so screwed up, maybe she never got it.

  6. Thanks, YRBB!

haha Oh, needlessly said, I think I may as well just create a new channel and upload all my Y&R/B&B stuff there. I'd love to be able to say I have the patience to wait six months until the strikes are lifted, but nope, not in this life.

Do they really get lifted? I wonder if that's new? It's been well over six months for me, but like I said, I never touched the account again, haha. I'm afraid even uploading a promo or something will get me found and deleted (my GL and ATWT is still up there).

  7. That sucks. I think I saved most of the stuff from Extreme Close Up if anyone needs it (I just don't know which dates are their videos).

When my account got two strikes I never touched it again lol. I made another account with like two public videos, which got terminated, so now I have an account where I ONLY upload videos unlisted.

I'm actually shocked that the stuff from B&B 1987 is still up.

Just invite all the uploaders here. :D I'm so much happier here sharing with people and not dealing with youtube drama.

  8. Yeah, I mean I guess since Sugar's already gone off the deep end and tried to kill once before, there's nothing to say she couldn't potentially try again. Having said that though, I'd just resent it, it'd make me miss Sheila even more.

Oh, good god. That sounds absolutely freaking horrible! Sounds as if they couldn't make up their minds about where they wanted that storyline to go, they were just pumping out ideas as they went along.

That pretty much describes LML, MAB, and JFP's reigns.

That article about Kay Alden really drives home how different it was when the soaps tried to hire educated people who cared passionately for the genre and took it seriously.

  9. I could buy Kimberlin Brown as Sugar but I would just much rather see her as Sheila, you know?

The Daisy/Daniel storyline was... ugh... she basically raped him when he was drunk (or maybe she drugged him, I don't remember). Phyllis forced them to get married. He clearly didn't want the child or her. He delivered the baby in the back of the car and Daisy conked him on the head, abandoned the baby and ran away to Canada. Billy bought the baby and he and Victoria "adopted" her. Daniel was having memories and drawing the baby and then he realized that was his daughter. He didn't really want her and it seemed like he was going to let them keep her, which was nice, for a soap not to reunite the child with its biological parents at any cost, for once. But then Phyllis found out and went batshit (the end of Michelle Stafford's run, she was insufferable), and found Daisy and got Avery to get some kind of deal so she could get out of jail to raise the kid, and then she turned around and helped Daniel sue for custody... or something. It was so convoluted and made no sense, but was all about Phyllis being a bitch and making people do things they didn't want to do and then everyone thanking her for it. And then of course, Daniel ended up loving being a parent and went off with Heather. It was so random.

The Ricky storyline never really blossomed. The idea of Isabella's son being crazy and harboring resentment for Paul leaving him was solid, but then they introduced all this previous offscreen stuff about him killing his girlfriend before he came on the show and it went nowhere.

  10. I still want that chained up woman in prison (think that was shown on B&B though) that's supposed to be Sugar with Kimberlin Brown's face to actually be Sheila... I like the idea of Sheila still being out there, in case competent writers ever return to the show and can make something of it, and then they can say that Daisy and Ryder weren't really her children.

If they are her children though, then they really missed an opportunity to make Daniel's daughter the bad seed... her bloodline included Phyllis as paternal grandmother, Tom Fisher as maternal grandfather, Kevin as an uncle, Sheila as maternal grandmother (plus the Sarah, Ryder, Daisy crew)... they should have had Daniel leave her with Billy and Victoria because he didn't want to raise a kid, and then when the kid turned out evil and no one could figure out why, he'd have been forced to confess it was his child. That would've been fun.

  11. Thanks. Another one I've mostly seen, but only cut up. So at least I didn't miss anything really new.

I have seen that purported October 8, 1992 listed as April 1982 elsewhere... I wonder how they could get so off with the date?

  12. Hi guys... I'm back after a little break, catching up on downloading the last few months. sorry that my and YRfan23's plans to upload things in order didn't work out! I'm still hopelessly behind myself, watching the John/Jill divorce saga and the episodes from 1989. I need to go through my DVDs and figure out what to upload next.

I noticed that these episodes which were posted back in October apparently got deleted... I'm really hoping someone saved them to the computer and can upload them for me? The dates are

Really really hoping someone did save them! Thanks!

  13. Thanks! Was April 11, 1989 uploaded? I have April 10 and 12 in my downloads (just getting around to watching now) so I don't know if I missed that or you didn't have it.

The youtube uploader has now posted 20 parts of the John & Jill divorce saga. Anyone have approximate airdates?
