I'm surprised how much I've been enjoying Kristen & Clarke's storyline (Sally has just been introduced, so I'm well behind). Dan McVicar is actually a really good actor. He's playing the humor just right. I love that Clarke is so unabashed about being a jerk and there's no pretense (so far) that he's really a good person underneath. He's just lying constantly. I feel like this is Brad Carlton, take 2, but they went all the way with Clarke and didn't try to soften him up so he could be a romantic hero.

There was a link to part 1 on twitter, it was posted on CBS, but then it was gone, and I'm pretty sure twitter deleted the link, and never posted part 2. I also saw it briefly on their YouTube channel but it was not available when I clicked on it, so it might become available someday. Edit: This is really bizarre, but I swear I had Becoming B&B on my DVR. I was excited because I had checked and part 1 was partial but part 2 was full. They're gone now and I didn't delete them. I've never had something disappear from my DVR before. I didn't watch them. Am I crazy? Did this happen to anyone else, lol?

I've been saying they should have done this since she died. There would have been a market for it then. They could do it like they do the B&B: How it All Began set on Amazon. A set was created every time someone ordered it, so very little overhead and no wasted inventory.

It's interesting watching those 80s scenes knowing what we know now with all the retcons. When Liz tells Phillip that Jill has been shot, he snarkily asks if it was one of her lovers. Then he wants to go back to school right away, and says he doesn't mind staying the summer, and I'm thinking, of course, he feels more comfortable being himself there and he probably has a boyfriend. Regarding TEB, she always sounded like she had a cold, and when she live tweeted during the Masquerade ball, she said she sounded weird because it was before she had sinus surgery.

The first time was probably a way to give Lauralee something serious to cut her acting chops and make the audience see her as an adult. They did something similar with Caroline on B&B in 1987 (a virgin getting date raped). A lot of actors, character types, and storylines replay on early B&B and 80s Y&R. I don't think Bell was consulting anymore by the time Christine was raped by Paul (an awful and unnecessary storyline).

All the more good stuff for you to discover. There's a channel on YouTube that has lots of 2008 and 2009 with the original Adam storyline, if you are interested in that.

Great about 1990! I actually still have the 1996 one of my cable's DVR but I can only watch it on TV. Luckily, it wasn't preempted. I know I can make a DVD of it but then the quality will be eh. I am trying to research and figure out how to convert it to a file on my computer.
