Is Crimson Lights just one of the "cheaper" old sets that are still around? I'm just curious cause sometimes I would think they would do away with that set....maybe for selfish reasons that's just wishful thinking because I've never totally been a fan of that set for a few reasons...LOL

Yes! It’s definitely more of their underrated fights as compared to the attic and especially the cake fight.

I always wanna think news like this will make a difference for the show but I still think CBS/SONY are the real problem for this now being the way it is.

I do hope they release the rest of 1995/early 1996. I know those episodes are in the vault too though

To me the beat that’s not being played is Martin being aware of Andre’s playboyish ways and that being one of the reasons, along with being jealous of Ted treating him more like his natural son then he does Martin, that he has no use for his cousin. Yet the problem is we barely see the three in the same room together. This show really needs to have more in-fighting within the Duprees in the same veign as the Abbott’s/Newmans and Forresters do.

I’m not bothered at Zeke and Remy already being a couple. I’m more bothered that they are a closeted couple and also if the stupid explanation given for Remys obsession it’s Electra having to do with covering up his sexuality.

It’s hard to imagine a Rex/Phyllis scene because they just seem so far apart character wise. Like Rex to me represents the classier Bill Bell era of Y&R and though Phyllis was created by Bill Bell, I feel she’s one of the constant problems that’s plagued the Y&R of the last almost 20 years if that makes sense?

A shame it took them this long to get any male gay characters….i wish I could trust them with this but I just don’t. And typical for Bradley to not establish that Remy was at least Bi when he was introduced.

Well Memorial Day 1994 is regarded as an isolated episode in the script cover but I don’t think it seems like it is.

He definitely has the look I would imagine, but either way I don’t trust the show with any returning legacy characters.

I'm not cutting JG slack by any means, but I feel like this may have a lot to do with SONY/CBS wanting just a cheap/lazy written show, and they mandate that to anyone at the helm, even if "writers" like JG might have at least one solid idea.....they don't want the show to improve...

Oh now that you mention it…watch her be a recast Avery (Phyllis sister). That wouldn’t be bad but I don’t need any other characters connected to Phyllis or Nick/Sharon for that matter.

I agree age wise she should have been Jennifer Foster. (I also thought Sarah Brown would have been good too) but TPTB are never ever going to acknowledge any past Brooks, Fosters or Prentiss legacy characters other then a sweeps stunts like Theo being Stuart Brooks grandson with Dina. TB is a a good actress so that will elevate the crappy writing she’s going to get.

And neither him nor Cassie were allowed to call her "Grandma" for the longest time!
