  1. Isn't the KKK down to like 5,000 members? They can't have that many hidden members can they? I feel like they are basically a joke now and the really scary groups are more underground.
  2. I can see that. I used to live in the Tampa area (Brandon). Florida doesn't need more development. It's a beautiful place and I hate to see it paved over any more than it already has been.
  3. I agree. Like Rush and Howard Stern, I very much doubt that she believes half of what she says. As I've said before, no one is that consistently ignorant. In some cases the motivation is attention, in some cases it's money.
  4. Very true, but she did have to know for years that there were plenty of allegations out there. Some of them have been out there for decades. Some people think these allegations were breaking news in 2014, but far from it. http://gawker.com/who-wants-to-remember-bill-cosbys-multiple-sex-assaul-1515923178
  5. It seems likely they hired a PR firm to help them spin this and they are just staying on message.
  6. She would have done better maintaining her silence and perhaps taking a very long luxury vacation to Europe.
  7. Allow me to recommend this course of action.
  8. It has to be a grab for attention/reactions. No one can be this ignorant.
  9. I just can't take you seriously anymore. It's pretty obvious that Cosby had the sense to use a condom when he was raping these people.
  10. I think they are pretty brave. I doubt I would come forward in their position. I wouldn't want to drag my family through it, if I knew there was little chance of getting justice. Unlike many people in this thread, it's easy for me to understand why victims don't come forward, especially when they don't have physical evidence.
  11. I agree it's sort of a random comparison, although I guess if I had to choose between being drugged and raped or beaten so badly I lose an eye, I'd choose being drugged and raped, but hey, that's just me. I do think it's shameful that MW only did 45 days for hurting someone that badly and then has the temerity to ask for a pardon. One crime doesn't excuse the other and at least MW actually did see the inside of a jail cell and admits what he did.
  12. Again, many of these allegations have been around for decades.
  13. I don't get your point? We take over the counter painkillers like Advil and Tylenol for MENSTRUAL cramps.
  14. No matter who does it, it's ugly behavior. If ever the term two wrongs don't make a right applied to a situation, I'd say it's this one. I just don't see it as a political issue, it's a human one. I couldn't stand Sarah Palin, but I thought everyone who made fun of her baby was disgusting. If it has anything to do with politics at all, it's just another sign of how divisive and brutal politics have become. Nothing is sacred or off limits in certain circles as long as they can get a shot in on the opposing team.
  15. I think it's obvious there are vicious people of all political persuasions who don't mind going after kids. Poor Chelsea Clinton was really dragged for sport and I don't think that had much to do with politics. Some people just take a certain joy in being hurtful, especially if they think they are hurting a child they perceive as spoiled. Just look at the way some go after North West, Suri Cruise or any number of celebrity children. It's an ugly side of our modern society.
  16. I can. There will always be people who only believe what they want to believe or will only believe what suits their personal agenda. Very well said, Marceline.
  17. They killed her just when I really started to like her. I wish she could have lasted until the end of the season. Oh well. I hear you, but it's got to be one hell of a blow to be let go from a show this successful. I can see why it's painful to lose that kind of income and the fame. However, when your show is named The Walking Dead, you know it's coming. I always figured our survivors were the real walking dead in a sense.
  18. I'm one of the people who did know that was the reason. It seemed clear to me that Magie just didn't want to face up to Beth's death by naming it. Still, I'll agree it might not have been the best way to go. Way too easy for some to think that Maggie only cared about Glen. I felt Beth died because she was trying to protect Noah. She didn't want to sit back and let Dawn continue to push everyone around. That was a depressing end to the season for me.
  19. They cut off his leg to stop the infection and it worked.
  20. I hope so. I truly can't stand him.
  21. Eww. I sure as hell hope not. I can't stand that coward.
  22. Yep. I've suspected this for awhile. It's too bad he didn't just go with high priced (consenting) call girls to play this fetish out with him.
  23. As soon as they listened to Tyreese, I knew the plan would go to hell.
  24. This is an interesting perspective on the ACA. I selfishly hope the system is more user friendly when it's my turn to use it (5-10 years from now). This guy has a really good attitude, not sure I would feel the same. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kanegis/signing-up-for-obamacare_b_6175936.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592
  25. OMG. I guess it's inevitable that this would turn into some sort of race issue, but this is just sick thinking. He could have had sex with any number of women (of any race) just by throwing some cash around. Instead, he went the drugging route making them helpless. I don't think his motive was racial at all, but hey, I'm not a psychologist.
