  1. Thanks! Once or twice a month sounds right to me actually. I could remember it happening but couldn't recall the terms or why it ended.
  2. Yes. I think it was a Tuesday or Wednesday though and didn't last long. It started with Vanessa Marcil's return as Brenda in 2010. GH/Brenda episodes got the whole 3 hour block. I swear it was only a few months but they'd do all classic episodes for one day a week. I don't think there was another character specific one, perhaps AM's return as Kendall? It wasn't very popular, IIRC.
  3. I had to laugh that Belle took the time to call Brady instead of 911 when Marlena collapsed. Maybe the show is bringing Theo back? I can't imagine any reason for them to mention Claire/Theo breaking up after Abe talked about them getting married on John's deathbed. Theo makes more sense than Claire in my mind because I recall Chanel dated Theo before she appeared on the show. The Gwen scenes were out of order or something? She arrives at the mansion with her luggage, talks to Brady and Rachel, then the last scene is her packing up the same luggage and finding the necklace missing. That was strange.
  4. I don't consider Trina, Gio, Emma, Cam or even Kai selfish so it's not all the young people in Port Charles.
  5. Idk, Joss could have actually made sure Britt was okay being pre-med and all at the time, but had to run away with Dex. Joss is selfish and I don't even care about Britt.
  6. I liked JMB in the Dante era. She was a little too much all about Dante, but it gave JMB something warmer and almost more lighthearted to do? She really didn't have much chemistry with her first few million boyfriends. I never liked Emme in the role, but the writing was absolutely tragic for her version of Lulu.
  7. There were some very rough JMB years for Lulu. Dante practically revived the entire character because I hated her from the time she was Sorased.
  8. I don't know. Maybe a Sophia/Tate/Holly/Doug quad? Rachel Boyd as Sophia is such a disaster that maybe they scrapped the whole idea. That's not Peyton or Doug's fault, but I suppose they just wanted to cut their losses when Ron left since they weren't inspired by the character. It would make sense to cull the teen scene and leave Holly/Tate as endgame and create or recast characters that work a bit better.
  9. It's disappointing because Doug basically came in and left in the same situation, now with a few more enemies. There wasn't an arc or really even a story. At least let him go out more heroic-getting Julie's necklace back and maybe sneaking a kiss with Holly. This was just all a pointless waste of time. The idea of Doug 3 was fine. If Peyton wasn't working out they could have recast instead of ditching the whole character all together.
  10. Fair enough. I don't recall everything Skye did. I remember a night club and Q business. I don't know what Nina did previously either except be in a coma. I know Carly went to college to be a PT, so she might have the least experience. I assume Jax did teach her a few things about business along the way though.
  11. Does Skye even know how to run a magazine? Idk, she's had so many careers and backstories.
  12. Yeah, Nina is shown doing things in her office related to Crimson. Not sure if we have heard how it's doing or anything though. I mean, I assume it's doing better than when Carly was randomly running it a year or so ago lol.
  13. I did like the Devil Wears Prada stuff at Crimson with Megan Ward's Kate and Maxie/Lulu. It was fun for a while. Once MW got fired and Lulu/Maxie were basically dealing with an off-screen character it became silly. It actually does make sense to start at a magazine like Crimson and move on to more "respectable" journalism for Lulu. Does anyone remember why Maxie quit Crimson in the first place? Nina seems like a better boss.
  14. I am also interested to see where the teen scene goes. I don't think Doug or Peyton Meyer were as awful as most people did. There was potential there. Plus as @AbcNbc247 said Ari is literally related to every other guy in Salem lol. I assume Sophia will leave when her arc is over. Rachel Boyd has improved slightly, but she's one of the most unnatural actresses I have ever seen. She is so awkward on camera and I assume she has never seen MK's take on Sophia because she acts nothing like her. I haven't heard any casting news and if I did I'd forget when they actually air in 2028, but I assume the show will hire more younger guys and girls at some point. Parker, Noah and Sydney seem like obvious choices.
  15. Oh, of course Brenda can do more. But I wouldn't mind Brenda buying/helping/supporting Deception especially since Lucy, Brook Lynn and Lois work there. 100 ways to re-introduce Brenda, but instead with sit through Jason's best of Britt moments like it's important lol. Lulu was always kind of dead weight at Crimson to be honest. And I like Lulu. It was just never her passion.
  16. I feel like that would be below her, but I could see her doing it to help Lucy as a friend.
  17. I am glad the show still wants to use Lucy and I like the use of Deception in general. But I agree it makes Lucy look silly and useless when she has years of experience while Brook is the voice of reason with her degree in...singing? While Lucy has been managing cosmetic companies for 30 years. I don't know why Deception is always struggling as well with everyone working there. Probably the lack of the OG face of Deception not being around lol. To give Maxie credit, I feel like she has always been serious about her jobs going back to Crimson.
  18. The show currently plays Lucy without layers. She's quirky and silly, but that's not all Lucy is. It's all one note. We are missing the tender, caring side of Lucy that she showed with her children. We are missing how she cultivated great friendships. We are missing the savvy lady who had goals and desire to have her business succeed without compromising her beliefs. It's like wacky is all she does now. And, yes, BLQ is a wet blanket. Setton has had good comedic timing in other roles so I assume she could get that back. It's almost like Maxie is the only one that takes it seriously lol
  19. They did launch a website for those products, although it looks like it's done? You can only look up past orders and not buy anything anymore. I have a feeling it wasn't very successful lol. It's odd because I think all these actors are capable of comedy especially Lynn and Rena, but it gives me a mixed message. Is Deception a serious business or is it comedic relief?
  20. I actually kept wondering if that guy was going to be part of the Britt plot or say something lol. Instead, he and Jason basically sat there in silence. It was so strange because I thought there was a reason the show was focusing on Flight Passenger #2. The Deception/Home Shopping stories never make much sense to me. I always believed Deception was high end, but apparently, they make most of their money doing these QVC shows. It makes Deception seem cheaper and wackier than I think it should be. It also makes Lucy seem borderline incompetent. Lucy always been eccentric, but I never got the indication she was a poor businesswoman or wasn't capable of running Deception in the 90's. Deception also only sold perfume in the beginning, so their product line completely changed focus. Basically the show just used a nostalgic name/company and changed everything about it.
  21. I know, right? She has to live in the Dimera mansion with a bunch of people she barely knows instead lol. I don't even know what's dramatic about Gwen living there.
  22. From what has been explained Dmitri stayed married to Gwen to get the inheritance. Dmitri gave her a cut or most of it to stay married to him because I believe they have to stay married for a certain period of time. Either Dmitri split it with her or gave her more to keep her quiet, but he doesn't care because he's living his new life with his new bf. We were always led to believe the amount of money was quite significant so it's not surprising two people can easily live off it. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense. I still think it's an easy thing to hand wave in general when we only have Gwen's side of the narrative though.
  23. I understand why the show did the flashbacks because it wasn't the most memorable romance even if I do think KT and SBu have chemistry. It was just literally Jason sitting on a plane thinking about Britt for an episode lol. They prop the crap out of KT/Britt-a C character at best-, but I am also not a Britt or Kelly fan so I am biased. I was dozing off but every now and again Vaughn calls Joss "Jacks" and I'd get a jump scare thinking Jax was actually back lol.
  24. Unless you are a fan of Jason/Britt and want to watch flashbacks of their greatest "moments" or whatever lol. It was an entire episode of filler. If the show balanced these scenes over a few days with other stories it wouldn't have been such a pointless waste of time. Carly/Brennan and Joss/Vaughn scenes were extremely dull.
  25. Lol. Thanks! Glad to see her today although the show was very boring to me for some reason.
